Two years ago the man of my dreams asked me to marry him, and I said no. We ended that night and I never wanted to see Zander Archie again. He went back to California, clueless as to why we ended, and as for me, I tried to move on but that’s another pain in the ass story for another time.

Fast forward to today after being whacked in the head by a psycho bitch wielding a paddle, I’m lying in a hospital bed, only to find Zander standing over me when I open my eyes. He’s still as gorgeous as ever, and the power surging through my libido knows it. I don’t want him here because I never got over him to begin with.

Now he’s back in San Francisco working as the new plastic surgeon at the same hospital as my best friends. He says he’s only back for work, but then he moves into the apartment next door and after a series of unfortunate events he suddenly develops amnesia, and I’m the only one who can help him get his memory back. Something about this doesn’t seem right because I know a trip down memory lane is only going to prove that I’m still in love with him.

Like the first book in this series, I was drawn in by the blurb, but felt like something was missing when I actually started reading. The pacing was off again, and there were inconsistencies that had me going back pages to see if I was just remembering incorrectly or not.
