It takes a lot to shake me, and even when I’m upset, most people wouldn’t even know it.
There was just something about the last job that kept me from keeping my cool.
I know how dangerous it is, and knew even better when I had to be carried away that day, becoming literally less of the man that entered that compound.
I was ordered to rest, recover, and recuperate, all under the watchful eyes of the team’s psychologist.
She was there to get in my head, to watch for signs that I may be a danger to myself.
She became my outlet, the calm to the storm trying to take over in my head.
There would be no problem with what we were doing because the possibility of returning to work with the Cerberus MC was never going to happen, and if there was an off-chance I would, walking away would be easy, right?

Okay first thing first Aro was definitely kind of a jerk. Lol. Second neither of these characters know how to communicate! They spent the whole book either sleeping together and not talking or just ignoring each other. Even though I loved this book I was left wanting more more more! So I’m a bit ticked at Marie. We better get Boomer’s book soon so I can forgive her! 😂.

Heading into the team's latest mission Aro’s head isn’t in the game, it’s a dangerous predicament to be in especially when it could mean the difference between life and death.

One mistake in judgement sees life changing consequences for Aro, leading him down the long, arduous road of recovery, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. Slick the club's resident psychologist is the one who stays by his side for support during those initial steps towards recovery whilst the other team members head back home, it’s during that time where boundaries are crossed between the pair as they give into their feelings for one another. Lines blur as they struggle between keeping things professional and giving into their own needs and wants with mixed feelings, confusion and a heap of unsaid words adding to their emotional rollercoaster of a relationship that is teetering on the edge of going from teammates to… could it be soulmates?

Another fantastic addition to the Cerberus MC series, honestly I can't get enough, Marie has made me an addict. Now the wait is on until my next fix.

Great

This was an great book I loved the struggle of navigateing learning to walk again and how the mind works. It's an interesting one brought up some memories of learning to walk again myself and those feelings how people treat you different when your the same person before it all happened... Great book

I knew Aro and Slick's story is going to be a hard one, especially after what Aro went through. But I loved that Slick was there for him. However, I was not a fan that they became an FWB situation while denying the attraction between them, especially Aro. I get that he went through a lot but Slick also has her own issues. And their lack of communication, like it's just s#x all the time between them. I wished their relationship progression had more depth and substance other than the struggles they have to work through.

Aro is book 24 in the Cerberus MC series. I haven't read all of them and I was able to enjoy this one, so you don't have to read every single book in preparation for this one.

Aro and Slick's story is emotional. Aro is dealing with some emotional trauma and Slick is the psychologist for the club. You get a bit of a forbidden romance vibe because they are both club members and they aren't suppose to fraternize, but also because she is providing him with psychotherapy. So, there is the angst from that as well as the angst from Aro's emotional struggle. I must say, I did get annoyed with Aro because he was thickheaded at times. I gave him grace initially because of his recent trauma, but after a while of him denying feelings, I was ready to crack some skulls! I think there was a bit of a miscommunication trope, but it's more of a lack of communication trope. For a psychologist, she wasn't always forthcoming with her feelings either.

If you like the angsty, will-they-won't-they type romances, this is a good pick! It is a fairly quick read as well, so if you want something you can finish in a weekend, this fits the bill!

  POV: 1st
Tears: no (but some people might)
  Trope: forbidden romance, MC club
  Triggers: none
Series/Standalone: standalone within an interconnected series
  Cliffhanger:
  HEA:

Illegal Contact by Emily Silver, I Wish You Were Mine by Lauren Layne, Say It Ain't So by Lani Lynn Vale...then you will probably like Aro!

This one was a rollercoaster of feelings. Tragedy and anger gets in the way but the couple make it work…until work gets in the way. These two are the definition of doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons. It mad me laugh, cry and scream. It’s been a while since a book brought that many emotions. Totally loved it!.

I couldn’t imagine going through what Aro does in this book but I still didn’t love how he treated Slick. Both of them had major issues with communication but my heart still went out to Slick. You couldn’t deny the chemistry though! I’m liking the ideas for Cerberus & I can’t wait to see the new changes in future books. Plus after that little sneak peek into Boomer’s life I cannot wait for his book!

I loved getting more time with this club!

As a huge fan of this author and this series, I happily grabbed this ARC from Booksprout as soon as it was available, and I am glad I did.

Slick and Aro joined Cerberus at the same time, and earned the respect of the other members. Things go haywire for him on a mission, and things heat up between them, while he recovers.

And then get messy when communication doesn't happen. So frustrating. There were a few other things that bugged me about these two, but the wasted time was the worst.

I enjoy the creativity of this author and she consistently provides engaging and entertaining stories that allow me to connect with these characters and their journey to their HEAs.

As this is part of a long series, it is a reader's best interest to have read the previous stories to have the best reading experience.
It's worth your time, IMHO. I can't wait for the next part of this series!!

I received a free ARC of this one and I voluntarily leave my review.

This was pretty great until the last chapter or two. It just ended so abruptly. I’m not even sure when or how they fell in love.

When he was away with her and doing his PT and rehab, they only had sex then mostly stayed away from each other until the next time they had sex. They never really even talked to each other about anything.

They basically had crushes on each other, flirted a bit, accident, had sex, called it off, then a bunch of misery and pain for them both, finished up with a quick “let’s be a couple” and “I love you” in the last chapter.

I would’ve loved an extra chapter to see them together and actually happy. We never saw happy and together. Maybe building one of those houses or an engagement or something. I know they’ll show up in the next book but it’s not the same as reading from their POV. Idk. I’m just kind of disappointed.

As the 24th installment in the Cerberus MC series you'd think that Ms. James would be running out of steam. That's far from the case though as this story is one heckuva rollercoaster ride of emotions as a wounded man's difficult recovery takes an unexpected turn towards romance as he and the team's female psychologist start connecting on a deeper level. From the very first page to the last readers will be taken on an intense journey that will put them through the wringer right alongside the main characters.

This time around it's former US Marine Josh ‘Aro’ Aroco who takes center stage with Ms. James piling on the pain after he's severely injured in a mission gone horribly awry. For a man who's always been seen as formidable, it's truly heartbreaking to see him at his lowest upon starting his recovery. Aro's always been seen as competent and controlled, focused in his plans for the future...or at least he was, before a single moment changed his life irrevocably. He's now a man bruised and broken, inside and out, that will result in a lengthy recovery that leaves him full of uncertainty, leaves him riddled with anger and depression, and a bit of fear over possibly losing the one place where he always wanted to belong. His life's out of control as each day is a struggle and though he loves having his teammate (Dr. Brynn ‘Slick’ Sullivan) by his side during his recovery, he's unsettled by the feelings she engenders in him and that grow more conflicted with each turn of the page. I hurt for Aro throughout his recovery, could relate to his feelings of powerlessness with me being disabled too, and I applaud Ms. James handling this issue in a careful and respectful manner. With him feeling like he no longer has a place in his MC family, he comes to rely more and more on Brynn, valuing her strong and steady support in scenes that soon turn romantic.

Brynn's a likable heroine throughout this story, one who's strong-willed with an attraction to Aro that she's always kept hidden. Her being with Aro during his journey of recovery though makes it impossible to keep those feelings hidden any longer, especially as Aro is fighting his feelings for her too. Time alone for just the two of them turns into a sensual haven with all sorts of lines crossed. Returning to the real world soon becomes a big test for their relationship though as he thinks himself unworthy of her now, pushing her away as he sees himself holding her back...but he wants her nonetheless. With each turn of the page these two put each other through a lot of unnecessary pain, a lot of extra angst by not talking to one another. Too many assumptions, too much fear, and not being able to move on from the past were this pair's worst enemies. Throughout this book they frustrated me, there were times their actions gutted me, and times that their interactions made me blush. Despite my occasional annoyances with the journey these two undertook, I still found myself invested in their pairing. I was still rooting for them to find their HEA, cheering on Aro in a difficult journey of recovery that was emotional and epic. It was a well-crafted addition to the series that showed the bonds of brotherhood stretching but not breaking. By "The End" I'm left emotionally battered but definitely satisfied, counting down the days until the next installment in the Cerberus MC series hits bookshelves!

The 24th book in the Cerberus MC series is Aro! I have to say I've been waiting for his book and was happy and disappointed with it at the same time. The MC goes on a mission in Costa Rica and Aro should not have been there and Slick knew it. His head is all messed up and it gets him seriously hurt. Slick knew she should have checked in with him but cause of her feelings she held back and she's lucky he didn't die or anyone else on the teams. Aro has to be air lifted to the states to the closest hospital and Slick goes with him. Kincaid meets them there and we find out he's assigning Slick to help Aro with his long recovery. The man will never be the same again and he has a lot to come to terms with.
Slick and Aro have both had the hots for each other since they met on day 1 at Cerberus. They know that team members can't be in relationships with each other cause it could mess them up in the field while doing their jobs, no matter how much they want each other and never admit it. Aro figures he's out of Cerberus and Slick is there so why not use her to try and make up for things he needs to fix in his head and treat her like dirt in the process. Slick takes it and tries to rationalize it in her head but no matter how much the doctor in her battles with the woman she lets herself get hurt worse than she needs. Slick needs away from Aro so when she goes to the club for a meeting she stays and sends Ugly back to take care of him.
When they see each other again weeks later when Aro comes home they can't even look at each other let alone talk to each other. This is what I'm disappointed in the book about. These are supposed to be 2 badass soldiers that save women no one else can but when it comes to love and feelings they act like they haven't even reached puberty. I feel like I was thrown back in high school all over again with the relationship between them. Just about the whole book is the both of them stuck in their heads repeating the same stuff over and over when a simple conversation could work it all out. We finally get that at the end of the book before it ends. Do they get their H.E.A.? Hopefully they do, we'll have to see if Kincaid lets them since the club is the most important thing to both of them.
We did get to see a little of Boomer's secret that we've all known he's been hiding for books now. His story is up next and that is going to be a good one. Hopefully he won't be as juvenile as Aro and Slick with his feelings. Marie James is a great writer and I've read all her books. This one just falls a little short for me and that's why I gave it 4 stars. This can be read as a standalone without reading the rest of the story to know what's going on.

ARO is the twenty-fourth instalment in Marie James’ contemporary, adult CERBERUS MC erotic, MC romance series focusing on the members of the Cerberus MC. This is former US Marines Josh ‘Aro’ Aroco, and Dr. Brynn ‘Slick’ Sullivan’s storyline. ARO can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Aro and Brynn) ARO follows in the wake of a Cerberus mission in Costa Rica that went all to H*ll. A search and recovery mission to rescue victims of human trafficking left Aro battling to survive, returning home a shell of his former self. Assigned to watch over and help in Aro’s recovery, Dr. Brynn ‘Slick’ Sullivan, a member of the Cerberus MC, finds herself falling for our story line hero, a man who is struggling with his direction going forward. Believing himself no longer worthy, worried about his place in the Cerberus MC, Aro’s time spend with Brynn ends when Aro pushes our heroine out of his life. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Aro and Brynn, and the potential fall-out as Aro struggles with what happened and why, and Brynn finds herself falling for a man who is unable to let go of the past.

The relationship between Aro and Brynn is one of immediate attraction but neither had acted upon their mutual desire. Living together during Aro’s recovery, our couple will find themselves acting on their attraction, leaving Aro battling between guilt and lust. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Several members of the Cerberus MC return including club president Kincaid, and Aro’s best friend Ugly.

ARO is a story of loss and recovery, attraction and acceptance, love and understanding. The premise is heart breaking and captivating; the romance is seductive and energetic; the characters are broken, struggling, and charismatic.

Wow! Such a wonderful job with this story. I love Aro and Slick and this story was done so well. It can hit very close to home with some readers, but I think it was handled with the utmost care, respect, and love that the story deserved.

Aro has to readjust to his job after a tragic job left him in the hospital in critical condition and new reality to his life. Slick has been tasked with staying with him to keep him going and to keep Kincaid and the rest of the Cerberus OG’s up to date on his progress and his mind set. When their lines become blurred and they act on their attraction to each other, their jobs are held in jeopardy, or are they?

I’ve loved the Cerberus MC books from the very first one and I find this series to continue to get better with each and every story that is written. While Harley’s story was heartbreaking, Aro’s story is so surreal and such a touchy subject for some. However, Marie James has handled it with the most care and consideration as a writer could and the result was an outstanding story. For Brynn, it’s making the right choices in her life and finding a man to see her as Brynn and not Slick. She needs Aro to be sure he sees her and not just a teammate. For Josh, it’s overcoming the obstacles that are now in his life and finding the strength to continue his life as it was prior to the tragic mission that changed his life. Knowing that he has the Cerberus family with him and behind him can heal a lot. I loved how Ugly could make things much lighter when needed. I loved this story and I look forward to more Cerberus MC books to come. I give this book a 5-star review.

⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Review by Kristie K

Just keeps getting better...

Twenty four installments, and still going strong! Marie James doesn't hold back with the twenty fourth installment, and I am totally here for it! Aro doesn't disappoint, unless you count the sadness I felt when it was over, and I am just as excited for the next installment as I was when I read Kincaid all those years ago.

Josh "Aro" Aroco is one of the recent additions to the Cerberus family, having made it a goal to be a part of the MC during his years in the service. Now a member of the group he dreamed of, the usually composed soldier finds himself in the wrong headspace on a mission, and disaster strikes. In the aftermath of his injury, Aro finds himself struggling to deal with daily life, and leaning heavily on his teammate (and the star of many dreams), psychologist Brynn "Slick" Sullivan. As they both work through the physical an emotional toll his injury has taken, something stronger grows between them, though neither of them will voice it. When the time comes to go back to the clubhouse, will they crash and burn, or will they let love lead?

Another incredible story, bringing together two souls destined for one another. This one had some hard fought battles, tears, angst, and a complete lack of communication! Seriously, these two need to learn to talk to each other! As always, the character building was on point, and I loved seeing some of our favorite OG's pop in too. The only complaint I have is that it ended too soon, and I need more!

Back to Cerberus and this one has a different feel to it. This time it’s one of their own who is hurting and in need of the team.
Aro is a proud man. A soldier who prides himself on being a key member of the team. He’s competent and the guys rely on him…..but one mission, one misstep and suddenly he faces the possibility of a future without that. He is forced to accept that a completely different life is on the cards for him and he has no way of knowing how that will work out. Couple that with the hardest challenge of his life so far….Aro seriously has a fight on his hands.

His one bright light is having team-mate Slick by his side….she is strong and steady. Her support and encouragement help him more than she could ever realise…put that with the fact that she has always been someone to admire from a distance and want in private and suddenly Aro has another problem….how to get her to be his!

I enjoyed this very much. The struggles Aro goes through were really interesting to read and brings a new and welcome layer to the story. Ms James isn’t afraid to go there with the subject and I appreciated Aro and his story more for it…I even feel it could have gone further into his recovery.
I wanted more of both Aro and Slick’s back stories…I wanted more of them to get to know them.
But any trip to Cerberus MC is time well spent for me!!
Oh and what the hell is going on with Boomer….I need his story so badly!

This book is late in the Cerberus books but I don’t feel it is one that plays off the others as much as some so could be read on its own. Both Aro and Slick join the group in another book so they have some history with the club but it is recapped well in this book.

Cerberus team members all need clear minds that are focused on the job when they get the intel needed to move on their missions. They also rely on that intel to be accurate. In a perfect storm Aro’s life is changed forever. Between a moment of distraction and intel that was inaccurate Aro faces life changing injury’s that causes him to need to recover away from the clubhouse for a period of time. During this time Slick a teammate and psychologist is assigned by Kincaid to stay with him to help in his recovery. Against both their better judgment feelings become impossible to ignore. When it’s time to return to the club house they both agree that lines should have never been crossed they both love their job with Cerberus but will their love for one another win out?

A great story by Marie James. I love all these books. This one has a different feel with a injury and the road that it takes for even the strong to make a come back no matter how how strong the support system they have is. I love how real the emotions are and that Aro and Slick find their happily ever after. Definitely a must read!

This is Brynn and Aro’s story. Aro is back home after working on a mission to rescue victims of human trafficking. He is not in a great space and Brynn is working with him to get back to his former self or as good as he can get to that. He believes that he is unworthy of the life he has and pushes everyone away. He is still deep into things of his past and struggles with it daily. Can these two find a common ground or will he continue to push her out of his life until she does not want to try anymore?

I recommend this book.

I still can't believe we are 20+ books in the Cerberus MC series. I remember when we first met Kincaid and I have enjoyed the whole series. You might think that series like these could have a bit of repetition, but not in this case. Each story is unique and fresh.

One mistake on the latest mission leads to life changing consequences for Aro, leading him down a long road of recovery. Slick isn't just any teammate, but the club's resident psychologist. She stays by his side during those initial steps towards recovery whilst the other team members head back home. There has always been a spark and playful banter between the two, but with the stress of Aro's recovery and the fear that he has lost his job with Cerberus he crosses a line with her. But is the intimate relationship caused by their close situation or could it be something more?

Another unique addition to the Cerberus MC series, but part of me wasn't all in on his injury. It's not that I didn't believe it or it wasn't written well, but I didn't want him to suffer. And then the heartbreak when Slick went back to the clubhouse. It was almost more than I could handle. Don't get me wrong I will be first in line to get the next book and I still love the series, just this was left me feeling a bit sad for some reason.

Aro is book twenty-four of the Cerberus MC, but can be read as a standalone. Out on the latest mission, Aro’s head isn’t in the right space and results in a life changing injury. Slick is not only a team member, but also the team shrink and she is tasked with staying with him while he heals. These two have been harboring feelings for the other since they joined Cerberus, but trying to follow the no fraternization rule and not cross that line. During the many months they are away, that line definitely becomes blurred.

Now, back at Cerberus, there’s definite tension between them and everyone can tell. But you would think these two were in junior high or high school with the way they act towards each other They are either banging each other’s brains out or ignoring each other. There’s zero communication and definite avoidance. So much so that I wanted to reach out and strangle both of them! Kincaid being Kincaid and knowing all the things, finally has had enough and pushes them towards each other lol. I am definitely looking forward to Boomer’s book after the sneak peak of what he’s been trying to hide.

Even though Aro and Slick drove me crazy most of the time, I still enjoyed their story and I still love this MC so much. Bring on the new guys!

Aro is the next book in the Cerberus MC series. This book was different from the other books in the series for me. While we still got to see the boys in action and visit with previous characters, the missions that usually drive the team are placed onto the back burner when one of their own gets injured.

Aro knew going into his mission that his mind wasn't in a good place, and he had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. This led to making a mistake that would forever change the course of his life.

To make sure he comes back in the right mindset, the team psychologist is sent along with him, but the last thing Aro wants is Slick seeing him at his most vulnerable. Aro knows that in this instance, he can't have his cake and eat it too.

Slick partially blames herself for Aro's injury since she didn't take the time to make sure all her teammates were in the right head space before they started that ill-fated mission. So, she is more than happy to help Aro on his road to recovery. But staying professional and reminding herself that this is her teammate gets harder and harder.

Can a broken man trying to heal, and the woman there beside him find a way to overcome the obstacles and barriers they keep placing in front of themselves?

Things Just Got Messy

Ok, so first off, I LOVE every new Cerberus installment, and this is no exception. I can sum up Aro and Slick’s story in one word….complicated. I tell you what, these two take stubbornness and lack of communication to a whole new level lol. Then again, it’s hard enough dealing with any kind of a physical, or emotional, relationship, but when you throw in a life altering injury to the mix, it’s really asking for chaos. I do understand though that they were both worried about how getting together would impact their positions in Cerberus, and Aro’s headspace while recuperating was less than ideal, especially since Slick was there to help in more of a psychological support kind of way. Bottom line though, these two were definitely gonna end up together one way or the other, but Aro’s injury definitely kicked their connection up into high gear. I can’t wait to get glimpses of these two in future stories 🥰 I also can’t wait to “meet” all the new members that are gonna be coming to Cerberus, and I’m more than excited to finally get Boomer’s story next! I’m never disappointed in a Cerberus story ❤️

I received an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow! What a hot mess not the writing but, the characters. This story was emotionally messy for both Aro and Slick but, we were grateful Slick/Brynn had thick skin when it came to Aro and his emotions begin all over the place.

This story was heart wrenching and you felt like you actually felt what these characters were feeling but, for Aro he had a lot to unpack and to overcome. Brynn on the other hand could only be strong emotionally for so long. We understood a lot of what Brynn was up against it's normal and with her training she understood not to take things to heart most of the time but, it was hard for her as she was falling hard and fast for the sexy grumpy biker.

My heart went out to both characters and we were rooting for them as you clearly saw from the very beginning there was something special happening between this couple. Loved that Ugly lightened things up a bit with his sense of humor and prodding.

This was a delightful heartfelt sexy romp with characters that were great and loveable. We think that Brynn/Slick has now become one of our favorite characters in this series and we are looking forward to more interactions with her in the coming books.

A definite must read book and series

This story broke my heart, made me furious, and had me wanting to strangle Aro on more than one occasion. Lol! Ok, it's really not funny, but certainly true. Slick drove me a little crazy with her over the top self-awareness. It's a great trait to have on one hand, but it's also an unfortunate side effect of her profession. That both of them are extremely stubborn, refusing to allow themselves to be vulnerable in front of anyone else, as well as refusing to actually have adult conversations.....well it was definitely a recipe for disaster. Of course that's not even counting the current issues at hand! Will they be able to work things out between them before it's too late? You'll have to read this to find out!
The only issue I had with this book was the abrupt ending. I would have liked to seen a bit more about how things turned out, but maybe that's just me being greedy!?!
I am really looking forward to reading Boomer's story next!! I can't wait for it's release!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

A lot of book series that I have read start to lag as they go along but I can’t say that about Marie James’s Cerberus MC Series. While we are on the 2nd generation, the original’s still make their appearance and the storylines are still intriguing, romantic and action packed. But more than that this series makes you feel, makes you want to shout, scream and sometimes just smile. Nothing is more true than with Aro’s story. My heart breaks for all this troubled former Marine has gone through. He’s home, a part of the brotherhood but he is so troubled. Slick is the club's psychologist. She’s there to support and help them, even when they think they don’t need it. Their story is not all sunshine and roses, it has raw, painful and of course steamy moments. But it’s a story you don’t want to miss.

I highly recommend Aro and all the Cerberus MC Books. I started with book 1, Kincaid, several years ago and this series has stayed in my top 5 ever since. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this magnificent group of MC Brothers and their extended families.

I absolutely love Cerberus! Aro is book 24 of the Cerberus MC Series.

I am using language to keep from putting any spoilers in my review!

Aro seemed cocky at first to me but as the story goes on, I fall in love with him. After an accident on one of the missions he was in, he is sent to recuperate and get himself back in the mindset that is needed for the types of jobs they handle and Slick is sent to help me.
Slick is a psychologist that work with Cerberus and jumps at the idea of staying behind to help Aro with this recovery.

They both seem to lack on communication skills and they each jump to their own conclusion of the other ones thoughts, boy do they each have it so wrong! It takes a night at Jake’s to make Aro finally see what is in front of him and now he needs to convince Slick that he can be the man she needs!

Marie James does an incredible job with not only this book but the entire Cerberus series!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

One moment of distraction threw Aro's life into serious chaos, and it set him on a new path because of it. See, the Cerberus MC go on dangerous missions, and this particular one was the most dangerous of all, and that one moment in time left Aro really hurt with a long road to recovery, not to mention the mental aspects to it since he's unsettled now wondering where he'll go from here. Slick, the MC's psychologist is called in for help, and little did she know where that would lead, and let me tell you, their chemistry is crazy intense so it was only a matter of time since they were spending a lot of time together. Of course this only adds a new level of complication since it could very well have serious consequences, and that led to all kinds of missteps & communication issues that's for sure. I LOVE me some Marie James, and the Cerberus MC series so I definitely couldn't get enough of this story. In order to see how this will all play out (trust me you want to know what I now know), you'll have to hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Aro and Slick

Their job isn't easy. Their missions are dangerous and keeping their heads in the game every second is a must. This one was one of the worst they'd been on. Every team member wanted to take them all out. His seconds of distraction were costly. It could have been his life.

The long recovery began away from home and she was assigned to keep tabs on him and his state of mind as the team psychologist. Were their feeling real or just the situation and closeness?

One of the brilliant aspects of Ms. James series is the uniqueness of each story and romance. This was way beyond anything I dreamed of happening to the great characters. The emotional turmoil, pain, and outcome are not to be missed. As I read I kept looking for an answer but that sneaky author kept me (and all her fans) waiting. I can guarantee you as always she never disappoints and this is no exception.

An amazing book that belongs in this amazing series.

Book 24 in this series, and yet again, Marie Jamies has produced another gut-wrenching gripping story in the Cerberus series, I do truly marvel at this author's imagination because just when I think she can not possibly come up with something fresh and captivating, Ms James proves me wrong. Aro's family will always be the Cerberus MC and the covert work they do in bringing down the bad guys, he would never step over the line with fellow ex-Marine Corp psychologist Brynn (Slick), even if he wants to, but when the last MC mission goes wrong Aro and Slick are thrown together, Brynn has always had a crush on Aro since joining the Mc, but she would never do anything about it, but now they are in close proximate 24/7 the sizzling heat between the two is about to reach boiling point.

Full of emotional twists and turns, ups and downs, this is one ride you won't want to miss, the heat may be pulsing, but the moving story backdrop is what makes this one special.

Aro is the twenty-fourth book in the Cerberus MC series. This is Aro and Slick’s story, told in dual POV.
This series just continues to amaze me! I’ve been here from the beginning. If you’re thinking about starting this series, start with Kincaid and binge the mess out of this series!

Aro and Slick are teammates, they joined Cerberus at the same time. They have both had an attraction to each other but hadn’t dared act on it…that is until the unthinkable happens and they are thrown into a situation that has them at each others side 24/7.
This book has as all the feels…good, bad, ugly, happy. The journey through the healing, the emotions and the acceptance for Aro and the understanding and patience from Slick, the fight and the awakening within both of them is truly an amazing story to read.

As always, I love seeing the interactions of all the members/characters from the series, OGs and new and I can not wait for the next book!

Thank you Ms. James for another amazing read.
