I knew it was just a one-time thing, but waking up alone after our passionate night together stings in a way I wasn’t prepared for. But when an emergency pulls Macey back into my orbit, I know it’s our second chance, and I’m willing to do anything to make her see things my way.

I may not be a part of Macey’s plans, but I’m determined to show her that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you don’t see coming.

Loved this short from Crystal Burnette! This is a prequel that gives us an inside look at Macey and Van at their second meeting. We get flashbacks to their initial meeting and the friendship that developed in the 3 years since that time. This story does end on a cliffhanger (boooo) but I’m definitely invested now and can’t wait to read the rest of their HEA!

I have to say that I didn't expect that Virgo would be a small taste of what's to come for Macey & Van, and while I was ready to throw my kindle against the wall (LOL), I'm excited that there's more to come as I fell hard for these two in very short order. Basically, Virgo is about their second meeting with a flashback to the first meeting, and the time between. Van wants to make Macey his, but she's a harder sell so how will it play out?! Who knows but stay tuned like me since I'll be stalking this author to make sure I don't miss out on the next book! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a prequel to Macey and Sullivan's story.

Having been given a small taste of what their story will be like, makes me want more, even with the cliff hanger that we were given.

This story had chemistry, romance and it was a page turner.

Will head strong Macey be able to let go and live here life? Will Sullivan be able to get his chance with the one person he can't get his mind off of?

I can't wait for more.

But Macey wasn’t make it easy for him, so I guess it wasn’t all his fault.

But wait a minute, will there be more of them? I think we need more of this characters.

I was hoodwinked. I thought this was just a really short novella, but it was actually a prequel to a book that ISN'T EVEN OUT YET?! I'll probably read it though.

Ok, this prequel, short novella left me wanting more of Macey and Sullivan. One night, three years in between, one stubborn pediatric oncologist, and a gorgeous wife receiver. They had this unspoken connection. This story was great at building that zesty spark, undeniable chemistry, and romance that these two had going on. Ended on a cliff hanger but I’m excited to see where this story goes. Can’t wait for the HEA.
