Creed Bracey is the only black billionaire in the NFL, and he lives life by his own rules. Creed is a carefree bachelor that narrowly escapes a situation that could cost him thousands. His parents step in with a proposition that he deems odd at first but the more he thinks about it, maybe an arranged marriage wouldn't be so bad. He could have the benefits of a wife without the hassle of worrying about if she has ulterior motives. Marriage would be good for his image, and he could shell out his money on his own terms versus at a judge's ruling. But what happens when Creed really falls for the woman that agreed to be his wife for the money only? Naomi Collins is no stranger to loss. First, she lost her parents and then the love of her life. Naomi doubts that happiness is in the cards for her, and she knows that she will never fall in love, get married, and have kids. When she's propositioned by a billionaire to be his wife, it's the perfect set up. Marrying for a bag and not for love is right up her alley. But what happens when things get a little too spicy?

Great story

I’m a sucker for a marriage of convenience story. This one hit all the marks. The chemistry between Naomi and Creed was hot. I’m glad Naomi finally let go of her past and face Creed a true chance. Zayden was a weak coward. I don’t feel he got the karma that he deserved. Julianna definitely upgraded with Avion.

This novel follows two separate couples, and both men are successful in sports. Avion was the best guy in this book. I can't say I wanted to see Zayden or Creed happy. So, I took a point off cause I wasn't rooting for them. However, I loved Avion and Juliana together. They were everything, and definitely give you the butterflies. I also loved seeing Naomi's journey to overcome her grief. For that reason, if Creed helped her do that then I was happy for her. Triggers for domestic abuse. Creeds handling of this event was realistic, but not right either. I think what made me take another point off was him constantly flaunting women in Naomi's face and not giving her a little respect to hide his side pieces, despite their arrangement.

Decent read

I felt like this boom had some really good qualities, but I wasn't completely wowed. I loved Avion. He was the definition of a real N***a! I loved how he understood what Julianna was going through. Good men like that is hard to find in real life. I liked Creed, but I didn't like how he would run to other women to get his lick back when be felt like Naomi was blowing him off. Overall it was a decent standalone .

A Billi

I've been enjoying this author's catalog, but this one just wasn't as good as the others I've read.

It was like reading alternating chapters of two separate books. There was a bit of an overlap with raggedy trifling, Zay, but it wasn't like the couples were friends.

Also, I didn't dig the fact that Creed pretty much protected & provided monetary support for Zay after his unforgivable actions. That alone took away any book bae energy he could have had.

Billionaire Status

I understand people grieve over the loss of a love one but Naomi is getting on my nerves. She wasn't trying to get over him. Creed was to disrespectful at times. Zayden should of got more time. Creed was enabling him in my opinion. Juliana and Avion relationship I liked better. He let her know it's okay to heal without jumping into another relationship.

Decent Read

This actually had all the potential to be a five star read because the storyline is great, interesting, and will keep you engaged. I gave it three star's because there were quite a few grammatical error's that took away from the story itself. The best thing Juliana did was finally walking away from Zayden. Zayden couldn't handle the same hurt that he put Juliana through and showed a side of him that almost left Juliana fighting for her life. Avion was a stand up guy. I respect the fact that he was always brutally honest when expressing himself. He was the better guy for Juliana. I believe Naomi didn't want to fall in love again because she feared losing someone else she love. She lost both parents and the love her life and that is why it was easy for her to accept Creed parent's proposition. I also knew that her nor Creed wasn't going to be able to stick to the plan because their attraction was too real.

One man out of two

I enjoyed this book because of Avion. He was such a wonderful character to read about and such a caring friend and perfect for Juliana. He was willing to help Juliana when he had nothing to offer him but some pancakes in the morning.

I love Juliana and Jewel. In fact, I loved all the relationships that the women had with each other this book . Naomi and her sisters were precious too.

Now let me get to why I took away one star. I took away one star because of Creed. I actually hated him. He was so immature and so selfish that it was hard to get around that. I ended up not even liking anybody in his family except for his parents. Whole bloodline was trash. He should have at least given his cousin an open hand slap or something instead bonding him out. The thing with the stripper? Garbage behavior. It was especially garbage because he was jealous of a dead man. He was acting so weak and so small that I just could not respect him. She had a right to still love the man who loved her so much. It didn't mean that she would love him less. If anything. He should have been happy that she had such a capacity for love, but he was too immature to realize that.

I actually really liked Naomi as a character. I just didn't understand her sometimes. It would have been one thing if she'd been coming from an abusive relationship, so you knew that she didn't expect much, but no. She had been engaged to a really loving man yet she was so weak in the knees. Her knees folded so easily that they might as well have been made of wet tissue paper. It was embarrassing. The way he behaved in that club was so disgusting that he should have been groveling. Even if they weren't romantically together, you don't embarrass people that way. That's not even good for business.

3/5⭐️s

Normally, Natisha doesn’t miss, but this book left me lukewarm. I enjoyed the characters and how their lives intersected, yet something was just missing. Can’t really put my finger on it.

I will say ITS STILL A GOOD READ!!!

So, you have Creed who is an NFL QB who is trying to avoid women using him for money. Naomi is still grieving her fiance that died tragically and is not even interested in love. Creed’s parents think that Naomi is just what he needs to appear family oriented for sponsorships.

Juliana has been with her high school sweetheart, Zayden for 10 years. All he does is cheats and she’s tired. After calling it quits, Zayden loses it because he never expected her to leave him since she stayed all the other times. Avion is a NBA star who meets Juliana through her cousin Jewel and pours into her during her breakup to show her what good men are really about.

Jewel has MONEY MONEY! She only dates MONEY! Soon she finds out that love don’t cost a thing. Real happiness doesn’t come from dollar signs.

Very good

So there were two stories here that didn't necessarily overlap in the way that I thought they would. Creed and Naomi. Avion and Juliana. Creed, a NFL superstar/billionaire wasn't looking for a wife but because he had gotten one of his friends with benefits pregnant, his parents thought that be should get in an arranged marriage. This was to protect him. Naomi was the team nurse who was in a perpetual state of grief over her deceased fiance. Creed's parent presented the idea to her and both get and Creed after to the arrangement. Through ups and downs they made the relationship work. They get their HEA. Zayden, Creed's cousin/assistant was a man whore. Her had a girlfriend, Juliana, who be regularly cheated on. Juliana left after 10 years and Zayden couldn't handle out. She moved on with Avion, a NBA player, with a level he's and a genuine heart. They didn't get married but out looked like they were able to continue in their relationship.

Love Foreal

I enjoyed the storyline overall. Creed & Avion we’re definitely Bae. The storyline was interesting and flowed well. The sexual chemistry between the couples was explosive. I would have liked to see more scenes with Naomi & Creed interacting because I really liked them together. Juliana got what she deserved and I was really happy with how things played out.

There were some editing issues and character mix ups in the beginning. I also didn’t care for the constant topic of money. I understand this book was about a Billionaire but there were just a lot of mentions of money, status, who made good money and who didn’t. It kind of took away from the story because every single chapter talked about money in some way.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and I’d definitely try the Author again

Loved it

I swear every other chapter had me emotional. This was my first read by this author but it definitely won't be my last. Such a lovely story. it's refreshing to read a book that is filled to the brink with s@× scenes but with actual good dialoge , now don't get me wrong cause when them nasty scenes came believe me they were HOT. When Namoi got thinking about that tattoo I was like noooo come on girl 5hen I was hoping she had it somewhere that could be hidden. I'm glad they were able to work through their feeling, really glad Creed opened himself up after that Elisha situation. I liked but didn't like Avion. He was so nonchalant that I would've left him where he was. He came through though when that Alicia chic was on her way. I honestly felt like Creed should've fired Zayden, he was bad for business and was just wrong on so many levels.

Wish this book had a spin-off..lol

Grief has no time frame and Naomi has been experiencing grief for 2 years but all that changed after she was given a proposition that she could not refuse.

Creed was an athlete that got himself into a slight predicament but his parents was not letting happen.

Juliana was being cheated on, talked about and embarrassed but for some apparent reason she could not let her boyfriend Zayden go.

My only issue is Juliana's character. She was very shallow, naive and aggravating and judgemental but she should have not been..

I like that male characters were not flashy but humble and had a good head on their shoulders.
Naomi's character-she was a wonderful character..

Two paths for two couples!

This story involved two couples. Couple #1: Naomi and Creed who meet through an arranged relationship by his parents as they wanted to ensure their billionaire NFL quarterback son, Creed, was not taken advantage of by gold diggers. So a contract was presented to Naomi, who was an NFL nurse, still mourning over the loss of her fiancé, Josan, who died two years ago.

Couple #1B: Avion, NBA star and Juliana, a pharmacist who became friends after she ended a 10 year relationship with her cheating long term boyfriend, Zayden.

Each couples path to long was different, painful and challenging but they got there. Some editing issues but overall a very interesting read.

good read

This book was a good read! I really enjoyed the unconventional love story between Creed and Naomi. What started as an arranged marriage turned into something real, heartfelt, and full of unexpected moments that made their journey feel authentic. Their chemistry and growth kept me turning the pages.

I also truly felt for Juliana. Her story was heartbreaking—Zayden took her for granted for years, and the moment she finally recognized her worth and tried to move on, he made her life a living hell. Watching her struggle to reclaim her peace made her one of the most compelling characters in the story.

Overall, this book delivered a mix of love, pain, growth, and redemption. Definitely worth the read!

Good storyline!

Once again, Natisha came through with a well written book. It briefly touched on love, grief, domestic abuse and forgiveness. I loved her take on an arranged marriage where the couple actually fell in love. The chemistry between Naomi and Creed was palpable from the very beginning, even though Naomi was still holding on to the memories of a ghost. Juliana and Aiden’s relationship started out as a friendship that grew after she finally got over Zayden’s punk behind. The character development of the ladies was awesome. I felt that the book could have actually been separated into one for each couple, but all in all, I loved it!

Change Of Plans!!

How Creed know that he was the father of Jai child, he said they use dealt with other people? Naomi was getting on my nerves with the hot and cold with Creed. Granted it no specific time period for grieving but to let a dream dictate you deal with that person is crazy. They were both jealous of one another actions. Juliana got on my nerves also comparing Zayden to Avion. Avion is a real man. Zayden is a fuxx boy who threw a hissy fit when Juliana said they were done. Creed burned the contact in front of his parents. That's when he explained that it loves Naomi and their doing the marriage their own way.

i love everything by Natisha.
this one was solid- though i do wish it was longer.

and honestly, i enjoyed Avion and Juliana’s story a little more- so i hope they get a spin-off book that digs a little deeper into their relationship.

Creed was okay in the end, but i didn’t like how he openly was flaunting the side women in Naomi’s face and she just immediately caved in 🥴 sis. let him actually apologize, if this is what we’re doing. annnddddd him bonding his cousin out after everything he did, i was not a fan of at all.

overall, it was a good read. i just hope we see more of Avion & Juliana in future books 😍🤞🏽

I want to see this authors take on every trope because I absolutely loved her spin on the arranged marriage one! There is a saying that women mourn and men replace. I definitely see that with Naomi because she had a hard time letting go of Josan and men replaced their loss loved one much quicker. Watching her and Creed get acquainted was entertaining. Julianna and Zayden’s storyline was equally intriguing, Avion was such a breathe of fresh air! Sheesh we all need an Avion!

Cute

A cute little read with some reality. From the very beginning this couple had an attraction, but the death of her first love nearly broke her. Creed had a lot of growing to do and Naomi was just what he needed. A woman that wasn't with him just for money and clout. Hayden thought he wanted to be single and when he got his wish, he lost his mind. The attack on his ex was brutal and he didn't get enough prison time. This author always delivers a five star read and never disappoints.

Awesome Read

Zayden definitely deserved more than what he received. He wanted a break so bad, but couldn't handle the permanent break she gave their relationship. Juliana may have been foolish for Zayden while they were together, but once she moved on, she was done! She worked on herself, and began living life. Naomi found someone to make her love again, in spite of her attitude about love. Creed fell fast and hard for Naomi. Jewel got a serious reality check on life! This was an absolutely amazing read!

Nerves are Wreaked 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏾‍♀️

I say this with all due respect 🫡…🗣️EVERY LAST FEMALE IN THIS BOOK GOT ON MY FREAKING LAST NERVES 😟. Now that that’s out they way, I love Creed for Naomi. I mean I get her stance and outlook on life after losing her ex-fiancé, but come on now hun, 2 years and you still wanted to give my boy Creed a hard time?🤔 I mean up until the money got involved and you saw that Creed was actually a good fit for you. Girl (Naomi), child, you stressed me out but I’m glad you got you happily ever after.

Still a five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read.

Never say never

Naomi was set on never falling in love again, but once she agreed to marry Creed she didn't know that she would fall for him. The chemistry between Creed and Naomi jumped off the pages, and they were🔥🔥🔥. Avion and Juliana met and they were attracted to each other but kept it as friends. Juliana had just got out of a relationship with the Cheater Zavion. But they took their time and made it work. Such a great read.

Avion

I had just said how I had been needing one of these. And here she goes right on time! Can I just say that surprisingly Avion was my favorite character out of everyone. He was patient. He told her what it was from the gate he refused to settle for anything less. Until he felt the timing was right! And her mental was together! You couldn’t do anything but respect that! This was the first time I felt that the support ing cast out shined the main!

I was good but…

I really enjoyed the story line between Creed and Naomi. I just feel the Zaydan, Julian, Avion storyline was unnecessary and it took away from the main couple. It seems as there was no real connection between the main character Naomi and the other characters that it should’ve just been left out. Although Creed was connected to Zaydan his role in the story was very minimal and a side storyline wasn’t necessary.

Unexpected Status

I enjoyed Naomi & Creed, they were so genuine and their connection couldn't be denied, though Naomi was dealing with a loss. Creed and her sisters were able to help her along the way. Juliana and Avion relationship was good as well, Avion was a straight up dude, Juliane was still getting learning to love herself in my opinion because she was so consumed by her EX. Family played a great part in the story as well! Rest ending!

Natisha didn’t disappoint!!

What happens when you are not looking for or ready for love. 2 different stories going on but both impactful. Naomi was holding on to the past and then the opportunity of a lifetime is presented and she had what she never knew she needed with Creed. Avion was the realest around and Julianne was lucky to have him. Zayden actions were surprising considering how he was living.

Sweet!!
I always enjoy this author's work and this book was a good read. I love how the marriage was arranged for Creed and Naomi. Naomi was definitely set on not loving anyone but ended up falling. Avion was just what Juliana needed. Avion was caring and understanding. Juliana did the best thing by leaving Zayden. Definitely a good read. There was minimal character mixed up but it didn't take away from the story.

Good read

I enjoyed this book. I'm glad Naomi and Creed got together. They made a really good couple. I'm glad she finally realized she had to let go of her deceased ex fiance and be happy again. Zayden was foul for how he treated Julianna, then wanted to cry once she was at her breaking point. He cheated and wanted to be free and she freed him. Avion was a good fit for her. I'm glad for both couples.
