In the sixth and final installment of the reader favorite CONCHO series, A.W. Hart delivers a heart-stopping adventure like no other!
Concho Ten-Wolves is a Texas Ranger working the Rio Grande border with Mexico. His mother was a full-blood member of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas; he lives on the Reservation outside Eagle Pass.
On a quiet morning, the Ranger rides to the river seeking a little peace. He attracts bullets instead as he breaks up a smuggling operation bringing in counterfeit money and black-market organs. Although the shipment originated in Mexico, Concho is convinced someone on the reservation is behind it, someone he knows. They’re hiding in plain sight and willing to kill to keep from being discovered.
But that isn’t all. Among the bags of fake money and the chests of illegal human organs, are the mummified remains of a small child who died under mysterious circumstances. Concho won’t rest until he knows why…
Concho is in top form in this book. If there is a way to find trouble, Ranger Concho will find it. He deals with counterfeiting smugglers in this book. Lots of action and mystical beliefs and the good guys win. They do not succeed without injury, but they do prevail. The mummy aspect is quite fascinating. Keep writing! Liked the flash back of war experience.
Fantastic read. Plenty of action and well worth the time to dive into. Well written from the Hart brand. Can't complain about this instalment in the series. If you like the contemporary western, this series is a brilliant place to start.

Hello, fellow book readers! I have an excellent review for you today, another AW Hart book.
I have been a fan of AW Hart's books since the first. They are written by outstanding authors who deliver thrilling stories under the AW Hart name. This one is Concho Book six, 'Rio Grande Blood,' and it blew me away. It starts with Ten Wolves, who stumbles upon a group of smugglers about to cross the Rio Grande into Mexico. They chase him and kill his horse, but they don't know who they are messing with. Concho is unstoppable when he is angry. He kills all but four of the men. Two escape across the river, and the other flee into the wilderness towards the Rez. Concho calls in his friends and discovers that he disrupted a smuggling operation involving counterfeit money, human organs, plus, believe it or not, a mummy of a child. And the battle is on.
This book is full of action, suspense, twists and turns. I loved how Concho and his allies faced the enemies with courage, cunning and humor. The characters are well-developed, and the setting is vivid. The author did a great job blending historical facts with fiction and creating a realistic and engaging plot. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Westerns, adventure, and mystery. It's a must-read for AW Hart fans. ``` • ASIN: B0B5BHLSJJ • Publisher: Wolfpack Publishing • Publication Date: 8/22/2023 • File Size: 5672 KB • Print Length: 296 pages • Genre: Native American Literature, Contemporary Western Fiction, Men's Adventure Fiction
Concho Ten-Wolves is a different kind of hero. He attracts trouble like a magnet and someone is always trying to kill him. His poor truck has to be repaired about once a week from all the bullets but he’s also lucky enough to survive and keep solving crimes on the Kickapoo Reservation. Enjoyed this series very much.
Blends the unforgettable stories of the Navajo tribal officers and military fact based fiction. Throw in tight plots and memorable characters and you have a new classic. When's book 7 coming?
