Little Bird is AMAZING!! I love Wren and Lex so much, they are perfectly crazy, but perfect for each other 😂
Wren is out for a night of relaxing, when she is kidnapped. She is taken by Alexander Silver, who is out for revenge. So many secrets get revealed, and the connection between Wren and Lex is 🔥🔥🔥🔥!
Little Bird is action packed from the start, the push and pull between Lex and Wren will have you sweating, the spice is insanely hot, and the cliffhanger will have you ready for the next book!!
Twisted King knocked my socks off!!
After the epic cliffhanger from Little Bird, Twisted King starts right where we left off.
Lex has let his monster out and will stop at nothing to get Wren back with him. Wren is doing her own fighting also, to be able to get back to Lex alive. The city is at war, The Syndicate has been quiet and Lex is raining hell down on Valentine's men to get his queen back before her time is out.
The conclusion to Lex and Wrens story is bloody, emotional and so damn beautiful. Wren has gone through so much and seeing her becoming the Queen she was meant to be made me so happy!! Lex is his usual alpha dreamy self and I adore these 2 together. I can't wait for more from this world. Go read this duet, you will love it!!

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This is the completed Twisted City Duet . This a delicious and dark romance.This is the author’s debut duet,and she absolutely nailed it out of the park. This duet is filled with a page turning plot, filled with suspense and allll the heat.
Wren, the heroine is a total bada**. She’s smart, witty and sexy. She knows how to hold her own and can stand her own with her fire personality.
Lex is the main male character. He is hot, domineering and is part of a dangerous organization that rules the city. He is a mafia king, and taking Wren away from her father is the perfect kind of revenge he is after. His original intent is to torture her and kill her. But he can’t seem to bring himself to do it, and she can’t bring herself to truly hate him. She is in the middle of a war she didn’t even know surrounded her. As much as she fights him and for her freedom, the sex**: tension between the two is so hot it could melt your kindle.
The twists and turns in this book are only the beginning of what’s to come.

I have pretty much skimmed the book in order to get to this point in the story. Nothing was particularly interesting and nothing really caught my eye. Initially, I was so excited because this heroine is so kick-ass but she honestly didn’t even fight for that long before just giving in. Also the conflict is kind of dumb. There is really no reason that this heroine would be the center of everything that is happening in these novels and the source of such animosity. I also didn’t find this particularly romantic or exciting.
The one thing that just made me laugh was that the hero pretty much ended every section from his perspective by either thinking or saying “I am the king.” It just came off as totally childish. Like if you have to say it so much and make it your personal mantra then it’s probably not true.
I would not come back to this book to attempt to continue reading it later and I would not recommend this book to others.

A twisted love story
Love Wren and Lex, this is such a great story. You have to feel for Wren, having her whole life and everything she knows to be lies. Lex has always been on to- of his game until he kidnapped Wren who knows nothing of her real father and is just trying to live her best life. Love the instant attraction between Lex and Wren even though both know that it’s definitely not part of the plan.
Ria always writes believable characters and you can picture yourself in the middle of the action. Love the fact this is a completed story without a cliffhanger.

After some well placed Instagram posts, I was intrigued by this duet. And I think if you have never read mafia romance before and are just starting out, this duet is made for you. However, as an avid dark romance reader, I found it to be extremely repetitive in the first book and when it finally got to the good stuff (in the second book), it was over too quick with very worthless repercussions. With the words “I’m the king” written more times than I would like, an insta love connection (it’s not enemies to lovers, sorry to disappoint), and boring main characters, I found this duet to be utterly average.

I have been struggling to find books I love lately but this one ticked all the boxes for me! Sexy dominant MMC who is possessive/obsessive and jealous AF of his women. Touch her and I'll unalive you vibes. The smut was on point 🥵. Definitely does get dark in some parts with s*xual a$$ault and r@pe happening to a side character so check your triggers before diving in. Can't wait to read the connecting story about a character that was introduced.

This contains the books Little Bird and Twisted King. I liked the banter between Wren and Lex. I would have liked to see more of some of the side characters. The second half of the duet drew me in way more than the first half. The banter was fun, but them working together to destroy their enemies was even better.

Wow what a wild ride! This book was quite good! Lex and Wren have a love hate relationship with forced proximity and a HEA, takes a minute to get all the information for why it’s all happening but once all

Once again, Ria has written an outstanding book! So much so that I now own 3 signed copies of this story.
Wren and Lex.. where do I begin?! What a rollercoaster! From the highs to lows, I was in tears, it was so beautifully written that you felt every emotion along with the characters. And those plot twists!

AWESOME READ! READ THE AUTHOR NOTE PAGE! This is a Dark Romance that is suspenseful, naughty, dark & dirty, if that's your thing then PROCEED LOL. Also was soooo good that I even had to get the Audiobook as well which for me was 5 Stars as well. Lex & Wren is one of my favorite book couples. Definitely give it a chance.

The spice in this book is actually crazy, it is pretty aggressive though so something to keep in mind. It has both parts in one so you don’t have to get the books separately. Both characters are strong and have an “alpha” persona. Some lines are kinda cringey but the plot is really worth it!

I read this entire duet in 24 hours. It was that good! Dark and intense but I couldn’t put it down. I really loved how obsessed and possessive Lex was . He made the entire book worth it.

Wren and Lex are wonderful characters. They work together perfectly. I am going on a Ria binge. This is easily a one click author. I can read anything that's written by Ria. I thoroughly enjoyed the craziness and darkness. The perfect part was them being tied together in a little package.

Great Duet. Absolutely loved Wren and Lex's story. ❤️ The go through so many challanging tasks together to get to the end but the roller coaster was totally worth it. I really enjoyed the extended epilogue offered with this duet and can not wait to have this collection on my book shelf❤️

Absolutely no words, except…..AMAZING!!!
I also listened to the audiobook and the narrators’ performances were stellar! I was in my feels towards the end. Ria’s writing is absolute fire!!

Alright... took me 2 tries to get through it but it was worth it in the end. The story has a slightly slow beginning but remember this is enemies to lovers. Lex literally kidnapped Wren and strapped her to a bed in his compound. While his original desire was to use her as a revenge pawn, there was just something about her that he couldn't stay away from.
What a story. I went all in gungho rather than get the books individually. I had started this book previously but wasn't able to get into it right away for one reason or another. But after reading No Saint and the next 2 books in that world, I decided it was time to give it another shot. And guess where I need to go next.... Kingston and Isobel have their own books that I need to add to my collection of completed reads.
