This is part of the Steamy Short series each book can be read as a standalone, can be read with in an hour or so and has a sexy older guy and the women who seals his heart bringing out the protective side of him. Lillian is sweet, feisty, innocent for the most part an actress trying to make it profession out of it but when she is threatened, she does the only thing she knows to do hire a bodyguard in hopes of staying safe. Asher sexy as all get out bodyguard hired to protect a young woman but the moment, he sees her he knows she is his angel and will do anything to keep her safe. The attraction is instant, insanely intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored she sees him for who he really is not what the world thinks, and he sees her the one she rarely shows the world, but will he protect her keeping her safe, will they catch the stalker, and can they find happiness together protector and performer?.

Protecting Lillian . . .

Lillian Oakes tries to help her friend who has been stalked. When she inadvertently sees the creep, she needs to hire a bodyguard for her own wellbeing. When Asher Brooks arrives, she realizes he is the man who saved her the first time when the stalker was in the garage. They are both attracted to each other, and time alone together proves to be more than they can ignore. Will he confess how much he already loves her? Will she feel the same? And will he continue to protect her from the stalker whose violence is escalating?

My one little issue is that a professional bodyguard has absolutely, positively, no business ever messing with his client. Love can wait until the protection job is over. Otherwise he is allowing himself to be distracted from a critical job, one that could cost a life. And if he can’t control himself, then he needs to pass the job to a co-worker. Yes, I know this is fiction. But blatant disregard of the whole purpose for his being there is wrong.

Lillian was just helping a friend, wanting to keep her safe from her stalker. While walking Tiffany to her car, Lillian had the unfortunate chance of running into the stalker. Fearing for her life, Lillian ran in to the arm of a handsome man.

Asher works with his family at the security company. More comfortable in the field than behind the desk, he keeps turning down his brother when offered a desk position. While on assignment at the symphony, a woman runs into his arms with fear in his eyes.

His to Protect is a hot and steamy romance with danger and suspense that brigs Asher and Lillian together. While protecting Lillian, in her small apartment, Asher fights his true feeling of love. Together they are electric, and the passion is hot. A great story to get lost in.

I loved this one, yes it was also insta-lusty and they both have attraction for each other from the start, but the forced proximity/forbidden fling added tension to the mix that was just chef's kiss ✨

Lillian is being threatened by a stalker that is after her BFF Tiffany. The stalker feels she is getting in the way of him being with Tiffany. Lillian hires a private security firm and meets Asher... again. The first time they met was when she flew into his arms when she was running away from the stalker. These two have an immediate connection and it is still there when he is assigned to protect and live in her small apartment. How is this close proximity going to pan out for these two?

I liked this book, but it wasn't as steamy as the fist book about Asher's brother Xavier, but I still enjoyed.

He can't actually be by her side 24/7, and all it takes is a fire alarm for chaos to rein. Can he and his team save her?

I'm not sure how I missed this book when I've read and loved all the others. But, this book did not disappoint! So glad I found a tiktok to remind me this book was out there!

The characters are great and the main couple is so devotedly in love. This story is rich in everything a suspenseful thriller and a steamy romantic story should have.

This was a really good bodyguard romance. Asher and Lillian were so great together. Asher was really protective and sweet with Lillian. Lillian saw Asher for the way he really was instead of what his looks led people to think he was, and they were perfect for each other.

If your looking for a quick read look no further. I was surprised at how much story was fit into this and the slow burn was so good! I loved both of these two so much.

This is my second book from this author, and I just do not like the writing style. It is both abrupt and longwinded at the same time. I never got the feeling that the two main characters even liked each other. It's a novella, and I had to push myself to finish it, so that should tell you everything you need to know.

Asher is a bodyguard, working for his family's company. He claimed he's a better asset (to their company) in the field than behind a desk. Lillian is sweet, kind and innocent. She's aspiring to be an actress. When he first sees her, the mutual attraction is electric. This was a great story and it was entertaining to watch their story unfold.

Asher is actually sweet. He puts up a front & melts you when you see him insecure. Lillian is sweet, innocent but sassy. Together their attraction is a magnet. Amidst danger romance sizzles! Quick fun read.

This book was so cute. Bodyguard, almost insta-love romance in the fictional world of the other “His To” series by Genni Bee.

I really enjoyed this quick read. Obviously I always want more from books I adore but this was lovely. Some spelling/grammar typos but very few and far between. Genuinely a good read.
