Artura's Quest
My life was one of love. Ren Faires, training with my over-the-top Dad, fairy tales from my Mom, and adventures with my older brother were my constants. No one understood us, but after the years, I didn't mind. It was my life, and it was a good one.
Until I had to go for coffee and a treat, I had to leave my house. I was thrown into a new world where all of the fairy tales my Mom had told me were real. Those training sessions with my Dad did make a lot more sense now.
This was my destiny, my future. And at the center of it all, there were green eyes and a bond that would rock my soul. They didn't know what was coming.

A fresh retelling of a familiar classic
The headline says it all- this story is a new spin on the classic King Arthur story and is beautifully its own all at the same time. The story did a great job of making a strong female lead who was unique in life experience and perspective - none of that "she was strong and beautiful... But she didn't know it" trope- nope, she was strong, beautiful, and knew it but didn't care so long as her people needed her.
I'd give this a spice rating of 🌶️🌶️: it's not fade to black, but it's also not excruciating details of every spicy moment either. In all, I don't recommend reading it for the spice, as this book focuses more on the story and world building.
Events in this story move quick which is really great if you're not wanting to read painfully detailed setting descriptions and you allow your imagination to fill in some of the imagery as you see it playing out in your mind.
