Wispy Willows: A Children's Poetry Book
This book of children’s poetry is meant to pique the imagination of children and to light the fire of inspiration in them so they can dream big and know that words have power. We want children and students to be able to see life’s experiences in a different way.
We also wrote this poetry book so children and families know how poetry can help you tell your story in a different way. It is important to find meaning through different words and to play with and have fun creating and exploring with words. It is our hope that parents will read these poems to their children and help them write their own poetry in the pages at the end of this book.
It is with this exposure we hope relationships can be fostered and self-esteem in children can be improved while on the laps of their parents, grandparents, and loved ones.
