He was a footballer, not a hero.
She never wanted to be saved.
But when fires burn, will love ignite?

Ethan
She. Hit. Me.
My first day in town and my truck is wrecked and I'm already regretting all of my life's choices that lead me here. I’m here to play football, not play firefighter and if that's not good enough for this small town, then I'll find another as soon as my truck is fixed.
Rylee’s sexy, sassy, and full of surprises. But I’m not looking for the perfect woman— even if she crashed into me.

Rylee
He’s not my type.
I’m done with footballers. I’m done with sexy AF men who can have any woman they want. I’m done. Except, Ethan is more than a footballer. He’s more than his billion-watt smile. But if he’s not ready to be part of our small town, then we have nothing to ignite.

This books has buckets of small town charm! The romance was super sweet with just the right amount of spice and I found myself rooting for the FMC and MMC even though they both have rough edges.

I think anyone would be able to get on board with the small town vibes but any Australians specifically, you can practically hear the regional aus accent jumping off the page. Such a great read!

If you adore small town romance with characters that are rough around the edges, this is for you. You will get lost in the words that make you hear the sexy accents. You will not stop until you reach the end of the story.

Ethan has come to Meringa as the Captain-Coach of the rugby league team. He arrives with a bang as his truck is rammed at the only traffic lights in town. Rylee has already had a bad day, but it got worse when she rear-ended Ethan. Ethan doesn't have insurance and is left jogging around town until he finally agrees to take it to the recommended repairer. He was surprised to find that Rylee was the repairer. There is an attraction between the two of them, but they both have issues that make their relationship difficult.

The background to this book is the Australian bushfires and how the town lives with the threat. I can't wait to read the next book.

Ethan accepts a job in a small town as the captain/ coach of a rugby team, and when he is sitting at the only traffic light in town, his truck is rear ended. Rylee is sassy and feisty, and she is having a dreadful day, only made worst when she hits the truck in front of her. Ethan does not have insurance, and Rylee managed to convince his to take it for repairs, and when he does, it is to find out that it is her garage, and she is the repairer. This is a well written story which has witty banter, humor, emotions, romance, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner.

Ethan comes to town to be the Captain/Coach of the rugby team. While he is sitting at a stoplight, he gets rearended. Rylee's day isn't going well and gets even worse when she hits the car in front of her. Ethan doesn't have insurance, so Rylee talks him into taking it to a garage of her choice. When he arrives at the garage, he finds out that its her garage. Its not long before things heat up.

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. I love the smal town vibe, and being set in Australia makes a pleasant change, the small business emphasis was fun too as was the whole community spirit. I felt for Ethan, city boy born and bred trying to navigate his way through this small town for acceptance while not understanding the importance of their subtle life codes. Both main characters could easily be classed as assh***s in their won way, but were individually endearing enough to make it work. I am looking forward to more in what I hope will be a series.

All I can say is WOW! Small town sports, romance, and the wonderful small business excitement for starters...then Australian bush fire threats and surviving , made this book impossible to put down! When the newest person in town meets a member of an honored family whom the whole town loves, well there was a crash heard throughout the town. The heat, I believe, is far hotter than the roaring train sound of approaching bush fires.

This was an amazing read. Rylee and Ethan are fantastic characters as are the supporting cast in the story. The author puts you there with them through every mistake they make. I was hooked right away and couldn't stop reading until I got to the end. The author conveys the emotions so clearly you feel she must have gone through something similar to this. An absolutely amazing read.

The title gives it away...
Been a while Kenna & delighted to reconnect with yet another well crafted story from you, a toe curling romance. Ethan was a nice guy, Rylee was OTT fixated, her way or the highway! Could they ever find common ground, there was definitely more than attraction but could she accept that she might have to give a little to get her hea. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

The first book in the Ignite series this is a book you do not want to miss. Ethan and Rylee's story grabbed my interest from the start and did not let go until I was finished. There is drama, suspense, a wildfire, danger, a misunderstanding, and romance. I will be reading the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It took me a bit to get into this story but the characters emerged as the family they are. Overall it was interesting and I liked the radio announcements at the start of each chapter but I didn't like the ending.

I enjoyed this sweet romance, the way the author wrote the enemies-to-lovers trope in a small town was done well. I would definitely read more of this author.
