He's stifled and ready for more,
she's seeking refuge and peace.
When dreams and love clash, is there ever truly a winner?

Michael Dunlap teaches literature to middle school students in his small town of Seagull Cove, Oregon. While he loves his job, he finds himself growing restless. His cousins, friends and siblings all seem to be finding someone to share their lives with and he's stuck working with preteens who would rather spend their days on their phones, than learn one more line about Shakespeare. Life takes an interesting turn, however, when a woman comes into town, opening an antique shop. She's beautiful and intelligent and just might be what Michael's looking for to shake up his world.

Quinn Peters has turned a complete one-eighty. Fleeing her teaching job in a major city after a co-worker threatened her, she decides to find refuge in a small town, far away from the slums she's been surviving in before. Seeking a safer work environment, she takes her history degree and opens an antique shop, eager to be surrounded by something other than overly-entitled men.

When their first meeting goes spectacularly wrong, Quinn writes off Michael as just another handsome man she needs to stay away from. But the Oregon Coast weather is nothing like where Quinn came from and she finds herself unprepared for a volatile fall. Will being stranded together in a coastal storm give Quinn the opportunity to discover there's more to Michael than their awkward beginning? Or will their experiences in the past keep them from realizing what's right in front of their noses?

If you enjoy sweet romance with spunky heroines and flawed but strong heroes, then you'll love the "Three Sisters Cafe" series. Don't miss a single romance!

A fun read about healing and love with a touch of suspense.
This is a wonderful book that will keep you engaged as you are drawn into the characters’ lives as they deal with the problems life throws at them. Quinn was being stalked and no one would believe her. Her stalker, Adam, appeared to be kind and gentle but she knew it was a façade. Finally forced to flee her home, Quinn moves across the country to start over but still lives in fear. Michael lives in Quinn’s new home town and he, like everyone else, has no knowledge of her background. When he gets nerve enough to ask her on a date, she quickly tells him no. When she calls the next day needing help he agrees because that is what he was raised to do. Neither had any idea that her simple request would put both of them in jeopardy from Adam as well as a freak snowstorm. A very enjoyable read. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

I really enjoyed reading The Sweetest Discovery(Three Sisters Cafe Book 4)!!! All about Michael Dunlap is a Literature teacher for middle school & Quinn Peters is an Antique shop owner. Michael thinks Quinn is beautiful and wants to ask her out, so he goes to her shop to see her!! Read about Michael & Quinn and see if they are right for each other!!! Lots of emotions and lots of psychological mind war going on!!! Definite Read!!! Looking forward to reading book 5!!!!

The Sweetest Discovery is one of my favorites in this series so far. Not only did it have spot on pacing in the romance department but also enough suspense to draw the reader in and hold them.
The title is fitting because at first — — doesn’t want to get to know — — she doesn’t trust men, especially those who have much in common with her ex.
Can — — change her mind and help her see him through new eyes? Perhaps forced proximity is exactly what it will take.

Quinn is so uncertain of herself that I could not really relate to her. I am sure being terrorized by a man co-worker is very traumatic but she carried it over into trying to get her antique business off the ground. Michael is sympathetic & works very hard to protect & help her. She seems to put her own trauma ahead of his needs. I like all the books I've read by Ms. Ann but this one did not resonate with me. I received a free copy. This is my voluntary opinion.

Treasures in Seagull Cove.

Michael is a teacher on the coast and looking to improve his social life as his cousins marry.

Quinn, a former teacher from the East Coast, moved to Oregon to open an antiques store, which is barely getting by.

The elements definitely bring them closer as they work through the everyday challenges of life.

Recommend.

This action packed, fast paced romance has great characters. Quinn is running from an abusive stalker and is somewhat in hiding. Michael is a literature teacher and knows that something is missing from his life. When Quinn asks for his help with a work project, neither has any idea of the crazy adventure they will be thrust into or the amazing relationship that will develop.

Great as always

Quinn has been thru so much and made her very paranoid. Michael had immediate attraction to Quinn the moment he saw her. Fate brought them together and helped them work out their issues.

Love this series. Michael and Quinn are drawn together under unusual circumstances. She doesn't trust men but turns to Michael when help is needed. He wants more than to just help her. Liked the suspense as well as the romance.
