Going to Hell has never been on my bucket list… until now.
The fact that I can speak that sentence without laughing or losing my mind is absurd. However, my life has veered into a very tricky tale that rivals any of my books.
The villain has been banished. I’ve written her right into an infernal doom. Unfortunately, a few of my very dear friends, fictional and real, have been caught up in the horror story and they’ve taken the trip down under as well.
It’s my fault and I can only see one way out…a plot twist of epic proportions. The fairytale is imploding and my imagination has taken flight.
The ending is murky and the stakes are up to me. There is no other alternative.
If I don’t get this ending right, my happy ever after might become a happy never after.
Robyn writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. Her addictions include shoes (the expensive kind), Coke with extra ice in a styrofoam cup, and bejeweled reading glasses. A former professional actress, she now lives in the south with her family and too many animals to count. Writing gives her a chance to have a job where working in her P.J.’s is acceptable. I'm not sure what happened to this, the fun and quirky storyline just seemed to plummet and I became very bored with the writing. Totally disappointed, I think this series ends for me here.
This story was utterly, but delightfully, ridiculous and I enjoyed every second of it. I’m sad that the adventures are over, I’ll miss all of the crazy characters, the ones both inside and out of Clementine’s head. The bit with Seth felt like it happened too fast. It was a slow build with no real transition, but I’m not complaining too hard about it. This story had hilarious lines and some bits of useful writing advice. I also did not tear up at a few moments. I can’t wait to read Nancy’s creation next. I would definitely recommend this series, but caution that you start with book 1 otherwise you’ll not only be confused, you’ll also miss out on the insanity that is Clementine’s magical midlife.
All the Write Moves My So-Called Mystical Midlife, Book 3
I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series.
Media Type: Audiobook Source: Hoopla via HC Public Library Dates Read: 5/28/24 - 5/30/24 Rating: 4 Stars Narrator(s): Hollis McCarthy
The Characters:
Clementine : I can’t remember his name to save my life: Cheeto, Besties, Aunties and other WooWooJuJu members
The Story: What was at first (at least it seems) a final story to save the Black and Decker Pecker Wrecker and inadvertently Cheeto. There was a lot of action and heart to this story. A great end to the trilogy that isn’t a trilogy.
Chaos is reigning in Clementine’s life and it looks like it can only get worse. Luckily she has her squad of woo woo ju ju ladies and her imaginary characters from her books. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? No worries though, “the author of the story controls the action…the players…and the outcome!” All Clementine has to do is to get control over her power and all will be well…after a fashion, hopefully. In the latest (maybe the last, hopefully not) installment of the My So Called Mythical Midlife series really lets it all hang out. Just when you think something weirder cannot happen, it does (Robyn Peterman always that one step beyond). Get this latest Robyn Peterman masterpiece, you won’t be sorry. ARC Review
Some go to the Moon and back, but not Robyn Peterman's Clementine. No. Clementine goes to Hell and hopes to come back. After all, she has a lovely, wonderful man and an extremely special little girl to get back to, as well as amazing friends and a pot-loving elderly Aunt, if she survives the trip to the Underworld to save her friends.
Words are a powerful tool that can transport you anywhere and make you do a lot of crazy things. Oops, the last part was for the book's characters! Robyn Peterman's warped mind brings us to a just as warped conclusion for a series that had me laughing, shuddering, crying with laughter, crying with emotion, laughing again, and had me ending up with a wide, happy smile on my face.
Oh I laughed myself silly, I may have cried happy tears as well and above all else I totally loved every single word in this story. Book 3 and it feels like I’ve been reading this series forever, the characters, are all amazing, the setting of the scenes perfect and the descriptive writing…lol extremely descriptive at times atomic farts and all… Clementine, Cheeto, Sebastian, Aunt Flip and all the woowoo juju girls are back along with Clementines amazing characters and somehow they all come together to make magic on the pages of this wonderfully delightful book. I can’t pick a favourite character in this series because honestly I love them all, they are all awesome in their own right even the bad guys lol. This book was highly entertaining from beginning to end.
I loved this book by Robyn Peterman. Clementine must go to save her friends from hades. The girls can't go with her only the demon mafia. They are mad that they don't have names. She must give them a story before they will help her. Cheeto was awesome in this book. I couldn't put it down once I started it. I love how supportive Seth is of Cheeto and Clementine even though he doesn't have magic.
Every time I think I know all of Robyn Peterman's tricks, she pulls a bunch more out of her sleeve. This book is incredible in so many ways, and I'm looking forward to reading it again and again along with the rest of the series!
I'm kinda sad to see this series ending. The plots and subplots move quickly and the humor is amazing. The authors characters come to life and helped her and her friends. This is a good series.
I’m sorry to see Clementine’s story end, but I loved the book! Funny, fast paced, thoroughly delightful and massively entertaining. The characters are so funny and just really awesome. I received an ARC of this fabulous book and I am leaving a voluntary and honest review.
Weird and crazy are the tip of the iceberg where all these characters are concerned but all loyal to a fault. Add in the equally weird gals and it's a story of epic good over evil. Loved it and laughed until I cried.
I have loved this series from the very beginning. I have enjoyed all of the adventures that clementine has taken me on and I am sad for this series to end. I can't wait to dive into another series by Robyn Peterman and get sucked into the great adventure.
I couldn't wait for the release of this book. And much as I tried to pace myself to enjoy reading it, I finished the dang thing in one day!!! I love the craziness and the funny endearing characters in this series. I can only hope to see more of the "gang" in other series as time goes on. This particular series spoke to me, and my inner child that remembers the magic of my imagination(?) playing with characters that I still remember as real. This is a great series that I have recommended to many others, and this Author is one of my favorites!! I highly recommend this book and Author....now I think I might go re-read the book, lol
This was an incredible ending to tie all the books together. I need more Clementine, Aunt Flip, Nancy and all the Goodness Army. Woowoo juju for the win! As always Cheeto is my absolute favorite character and I loved every second with her. I was so happy that Beautiful Clementine had Cheeto with her thru most of the book. Her adventures are hilarious and heinous. I loved the demon mafia. Brutal and mean but like big teddy bears. I love how it focuses on love and friendship and Clementine and Seth are amazing together. I love Seths support no matter what. There was a very emotional bit in there that was so well done it made me cry. Being able to write the story, the characters, while you are living the story and having to start questioning fiction from reality, is such a unique plot. It's amazes me what Robyn comes up with in that glorious imagination of hers. We got an epilogue in this book but I am really hoping it's not the end! I would absolutely love if we got more of Cheetos story as she grows into her powers, her and someone special with her.

OMG! This book was so amazing and hilarious! All the Write Moves had all the right moves and emotions! I laughed, cringed, laughed some more and cried! They were good tears but at the end I was sad because this is the last book in the series. But seriously Robyn Peterman I would love to see a spinoff series about Cheeto. Having her perspective of what happens in her life having magic. All the Write Moves pulled me into the story and didn't want to let me go. The writing is flawless and flows so easily I was reading well past my bedtime....my eyes even drooped at times because I didn't want to stop reading. The characters were amazing and the demons were so freaking funny! I laughed so hard at their conversations. Clementine has her hands full with making a HUGE mistake while getting rid of Jinny Jingle and she has to correct it...that's right while sending Jinny Jingle to hell she saids some of the crew with her by mistake! What happens next in hilarious.... I loved this series and All the Write Moves has to be the best of the series...well all the books are best of the series because that is all that Robyn Peterman writes is BEST of series books! If you want to laugh a lot then you have to read this series...highly recommend!
But rescuing her girls and trying to save Cheeto, who ended up in Hell along with everyone, after thinking she was saving the Demons.
Just a normal day really.
After they sort out the BDPW, so she has no memory of woowoo juju, but remembers everything she's done to Clemmy, when she returns to her body. She gets what's coming to her.
Thank you Robyn.
Clemmy, Seth and Cheeto get married.
The wedding is all kinds ends of AWESOME😁😁😁😁
Love to see what the new arrival turns out to be 😉😉🙏🙏
It’s hard to put to words how incredibly satisfying each and every book in this series has been. Every reader wants to pick up a book, knowing that you will be transported into a different “other”. Characters become so lifelike you find yourself mentally creating lists of what else you want to know about their lives. The emotional ups and downs are so powerful that the giggles will hit uncontrollably as well as the free falling tears. This series definitely has all the “right” words written to perfection. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Clementine is going to Hell…say what?!? On a mission to save the friends she accidentally sent to Hell with Jinnie Jingle, she meets up with some new characters from her books. This is one “hell”larious ride. The characters are so off the wall they crack you up. I would love to rent space in this author’s head because it would be quite an experience. While Clementine gets her HEA, there is room for a spin off. Can’t wait to see if that happens.
Another Hell raising book from Peterman that will have you laughing, crying and maybe cringing from the brutality (in a good way). These characters grow on you and you can’t help but love them… even the naughty ones. Clementine is trying to keep everyone safe and takes Hell on in the process! I love the unique storyline of this series (shouldn’t be a spoiler if you read books one and two) and how her characters come to life from her books. Peterman never seem to disappoint with her dry and snarky humor. Granted it’s not for everyone but it’s the perfect escape for my sarcastic and possibly twisted soul.
Clementine, Aunt Flip, Jess, Cheeto, And Nancy must go to hell to save they're friends. This series just keeps getting better and better. These woowoo juujuu's makes you want to be they're friend even though they're all old broads. If this all happened from being a writer, I'd do it, it all sounds fun. The demon stories are some of the funniest parts. The best part of course was Clementine and Seth getting together. This is one of those series you wish would go on forever. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
Written With a Twist Love the twist on the writer's world. What's more turned around than a writer's writer having to write her way out of her own creations? What a zany idea! Clementine is so clever and has the most brilliant schemes to save herself and her friends, who, by the way, are crazy and unique in their own ways. A little witchcraft, a little paranormal, a little mystery, a little suspense, a little romance.- you couldn't ask for more. This series has everything. It's the bomb!
All The Write Moves hits all the right places. An unexpected resolution from the last book means a trip south – not that south, THAT south. All in the name to save the besties. And what a ride it is. In true Robyn Peterman fashion, you find yourself rooting for all of the characters and laughing until you leak.
This is the third in the series and you don’t need to have read the books right before this one – but you’ll want to read them sooner if not before.
Time for Clementine to go to Hell. Literally. She has has to save her friends from the deadly daemon she created that drug them to Hell. With the aid of the Underworld mafia, and some new “friends” She just might get that happily ever after.
Robin Peterman has once again delighted me with her outrageously funny imagination and excellent story telling. I laughed and snorted my way though the entire book.
Wow! I’m sad that the main series is complete, but what a storyline and what a finish! I love how all of Clementine’s characters pitch in to help. The demons cracked me up, and I am happy for the resolutions for them.
This author’s books are always a 5+ star for me. I love her writing style and how she brings you into her stories. I think it would be fun to grab a tub of popcorn and just sit in her brain and enjoy the show. Now I really want a Cheeto of my own <3
Thank you Robyn for this hilarious, witty, manhood boasting characters, outstanding, woowoo juju, Midlife "FUN" book. Love the new characters from Clementine's books & all of their flexing. My heart is filled with joy as Clementine declares her LOVE for Seth & Cheeto. All of the sweating, battling, explosions and atomic farts brought this story to life for me. Beautiful ending for a clever series!!!

This book was such a great ending to the entire series. I adore all of the characters, old and new. The demons and their intended ladies take the show though for sure.
Cheeto is totes adorbs and I want a Cheeto of my very own!
Bad-Ass Clementine and Thick Stella are the best.
I could probably go on showering all the characters with praise, but I’ll spare you. This is just a fun series!
I'm not quite sure what I was expecting with this trilogy but definitely not what I read. Hilarious, interesting, all the things that an author would hope people say about their books. The best thing I can say about it is I couldn't put them down. Definitely worth reading, especially when you are feeling a bit down.
This continues Clementine’s story in such a hilarious way… Ms Peterman writes such fabulous characters who you can’t help but fall in love. Her demon mafia men are gloriously violent and totally lovable. Aunt Flip and the gang are back to help rescue friends from Hell! Follow Clementine and gang as the navigate through this adventure with adorable Cheeto and the handsome Seth. This is a fast paced, laugh out loud 5 star read.
Seriously, epic conclusion that even in my widest imagination I could never come up with lol. The fact that I could follow these conversations makes me proud. They need to create an award.. might have started with the fast convos of the Gilmores lol (if you know you know). I love all these crazy characters and would totally live in this world.
