Where to start with this book chains and monroe are amazing let’s just start there. Trope of arranged marriage/ force marriage but very quickly we know that it’s not forced for either chains or monroe.
The chemistry crackles on the page before the pair even touch. I loved how protective Chains is of Monroe when she is trying to fight her feelings for him.
This book made me smile, made me cry [yes V you know the part] but also made me fall for another biker club. I have a lot of room for all these hero’s and heroines that V theia creates. As I said before every book you read of V is like coming home- and as someone who has moved more from Contemporary romance although it’s making a come back. V’s books have always been a constant and ones I always pick up. So when I say if you are looking for some hot smutty romance and some protective bikers look no further than V’s books. I would recommend reading the renegade souls first as there is crossover in the multiverse, e.g some characters cross over but I cannot wait to find out this new MC especially one who is very quiet- I feel he has a lot of potential.

This is the start of a brand new series and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. This author is one of my favorite especially in the MC genre because I know the main characters will have ow drama especially with it being an MC but once the hero is with the heroine they never cheat. I feel safe reading her books.

Monroe was entered into an arranged marriage with a biker because her father owed them money. It started out that they didn’t like one another but they couldn’t fight the pull they felt. She was a likable but feisty heroine.
Chains was protective and very jealous. He had some great lines in this book. I highlighted a ton. He was loyal to the club and loyal to Monroe which to me is the most important thing in a romance.
There was Ow drama but Chains didn’t perpetuate it or encourage it. That wasn’t the only drama in this one. It has all the feels . Love , smexy tension, chemistry, the sense of family that I love about MC books. There was also sadness. This story had a twist that broke my heart. That being said Chains was there to put Monroe’s heart back together again.
As far as MC romances go I loved Chains and Monroe. This was a good start to a new series and it kept me hooked from the beginning until the end. Reno’s story is next and I can’t wait but I’m also dying for Axel and Scarlett’s story. We got some insight into them in this installment and I can’t wait to see what happens .

If you are a lover of MC like I am, then you most definitely need to read this first book in this new series! I’m a lover of this authors books and she continually blows my mind with her MC stories. I have yet to find another MC author who draws me into her world like V.Theia does. The descriptions of the characters, the storylines, the depth of emotions I feel each and every time and this one is no exception.
Chains is the VP of the Diablo Disciples and the way he is described will make your heart and panties melt. When an arrangement is made and he meets Monroe, he just knows he can crack thru her tough exterior. It won’t be easy and will be a challenge, but she is so worth it. Monroe wants nothing to do with Chains, but as time goes on, she discovers there is so much more to him. Monroe is a spitfire who is fiercely loyal to her family and nothing and no one will get in her way. That is until Chains blows her mind, body and soul away.
These two have such sizzling chemistry, my kindle almost burst into flames! There relationship is volatile at times, and then again it’s all soft and sensual. They both have had hard lives and both deserve something good, but it will take work on both their parts.
In usual fashion, this author loves to sprinkle characters from her other stories and I love that she does that. You will laugh, and you will cry but this story is definitely one that will be in my heart forever. A truly brilliant read!

I love Chains and Monroe.
There I said it.
She was sassy to the point of wanting to cause him physical harm, while he took it all in his stride and even showed her how much that sass turned him on.
Let's not forget how great he is with his hands, especially under the sink. All hail those men who are handy around the home.
And then, V makes you cry. Not little tears, but a great wrenching torrent, that shocks you to the core.
From a marriage of convenience, built on lies, it soon becomes so much more to both of them, and you can't help but get swept up in their passion.
It's great to have this author back, with a whole new MC for us to fall in love with. Oh and they're are some names and faces you'll recognise from her previous series too.

Damn. Just damn.
I wanna be like Monroe, shes snarky, sassy and badass. But loving, loyal and protective. She would do anything for those she loves, esp her sisters.
Chains, is loyal and protective of his Club and family.... not even he knows why he offers to take Monroe, when her father includes marriage to her as part of their business deal.
As time goes on, he sees someone worthy of his time, and loyality. He falls for her and does everything in his power to have her fall for him.
They make an amazing couple, I loved the part about their future..
I really cant decide whose story I want first Axel or Ruin?

OMFG what a start to this brand new MC series delivered by my fave MC author!!
I'm hero-centric, and I'll get to my love of that possessive biker soon, but Monroe was all kinds of brilliant. She's hardworking, family orientated and speaks her mind. I loved all her violent threats towards Chains ( he did too!)
This heroine was thrust into a situation she had absolutely no say in and didn't want, so what I loved was how she dealt with it.
She wasn't weak, at all. Best of all, it was Monroe who gave the first kiss and acted on sex first. yes, girl, get it!
she was badass but not masculine-like (if you know you know) she knew how to give sass when it was needed.
Speaking of.
BEST.
SEX.
EVER.
I feel like I say that with every Theia book, I don't know how V makes it feel brand new.
The under the sink scene. Our mans did not hesitate!
But the dub-con sneaky bed scene has my dirty soul. Sheer perfection and 🥵🥵🥵🥵 if I could give Oscars for sex scenes, V's arms would be full.
If you want a biker easily triggered by jealousy and possessiveness if anyone looks or touches his woman, then Chains is your biker. Whoa boy. He incited the lustiest of thoughts throughout.
if praise kink is your thing, Monroe and Chains bring it!
I loved how the book kept me on my toes.
It wasn't overly dramatic, but it showed club life, introed an antagonist or two but still fully focused on Chains and Monroe's marriage of convenience and how they navigated their life.
There were enough interactions with Monroe and the bikers to let us know them too.
I already want alllll the secondary character books.

The book is safe, no cheating, Club bunnies are there and it’s obvious they’ve had sex before the h appeared in his life and there’s a few references, nothing heavy but not my fav!
These bikers are hard and talk like assh, but with their women they say the most romantic things, actually, it’s a very romantic book and the sex scenes are really good! Dirty talker in the house!
Chains is completely devoted to his wife man!
Reno is the next one in Only two days, not my fav, I’m more interested in his twin, Ruin and the President,

loved everything about this book. Chains enters into an arranged/forced marriage with Monroe bc of her dad and the terms are that it’ll last 6 months so his MC can get the money and product they are owed. but Monroe doesn’t come willingly and and Chains doesn’t back down from a challenge. it’s only supposed to be for 6 months, but Chains realizes quickly he doesn’t want to let Monroe go and will do everything to convince her to stay once their time is up.
Chains does everything to woo Monroe while still being the tough possessive biker he is. he remembers everything she says, fills their house with all her favourite things, and takes care of her sisters. Chains might be one of my fav MC guys.
this book also had the brotherhood of the MC that i love. and i can’t wait to read about the other brothers. i just wish it was Axel’s book next.
no scenes of either of them being with other people and neither of them sleep with anyone else once their engagement is announced. as always with MC books, there is slight OW drama with the sweetbutts bc one thinks they have a claim on Chains. but he always shuts it down.

The Chemistry is so strong, there's a new addition to the Periodic Table
I am a huge, huge, huge fan of V.Theia. I love all of her characters and all of her books. Each one getting better than the last. And this one in no way disappoints.
Better the devil you know? Yeah, not always. A deal needs to be done, but with the kind of devil you wish you didnt know. It was supposed to be simple enough, cut and dried. But a chance overhearing, where said Devil was going to give his eldest daughter to a sadistic, porn filming, scum of the earth PoS, Chains wasn't going to let that happen. So an arranged marriage it is.
From Monroe's pov, it was a match made in hell, but she didn't know what other fate had awaited her, and Chains wasn't about to let slip about what a vile and disgusting human being her dad was. He also wasn't going to tell her how much her being pissed off at him, turned him on.
Theirs was a love/hate relationship. Chains didn't do relationships and Monroe just hated Chains. That was, until she realised that she actually didn't.
Her sisters liked him and once she got over her hatred, so did she.
But then, one day, something so heinous happened and she turned her back on Chains and her father.
Chains hated her father, he could go with that, but he wasn't going to lose the woman who had slowly become his all encompassing soul mate.
So he decided to show her just who was boss.
I am a huge, huge, huge fan of V.Theia. I love all of her characters and all of her books. Each one getting better than the last. And this one in no way disappoints.

From Monroe's pov, it was a match made in hell, but she didn't know what other fate had awaited her, and Chains wasn't about to let slip about what a vile and disgusting human being her dad was. He also wasn't going to tell her how much her being pissed off at him, turned him on.
Theirs was a love/hate relationship. Chains didn't do relationships and Monroe just hated Chains. That was, until she realised that she actually didn't.
Her sisters liked him and once she got over her hatred, so did she.
But then, one day, something so heinous happened and she turned her back on Chains and her father.
Chains hated her father, he could go with that, but he wasn't going to lose the woman who had slowly become his all encompassing soul mate.

Chains and Monroe 🔥sizzling. When the confirmed bachelor meets the woman who doesn’t need a man, sparks fly. Absolutely loved this story ❤️❤️❤️ Everything you’d want in an MC romance. Monroe has some crazy sisters, so sad we lose the most innocent one. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ looking forward to the next book, I loved the shit stirring Reno ❤️

There were honestly many 4 and 5 star aspects but the grovel was a 1 ⭐️. One. Star. It has the perfect opportunity for an epic grovel!
It also took way too far into the book before he stopped talking in his damn head about how she meant nothing to him and was only collateral. He was trying to convince himself I think but it just got old.
Also, her sisters death at the end served no real purpose and just brought the book down. And then it felt like suddenly she was over it.
I went back and forth between 3 and four stars. the writing was good but ultimately I could have stopped this book halfway or 75% into it and not been bothered not knowing the end. Just moved on to the next. That decided 3 stars for me.
Still he was faithful. A faithful biker! and I believed he loves her.

Amazing Start to this New MC World
This is a Forced Marriage turn Lovers book. It is also, flaming 🔥 🔥 🥵, has amazing characters and has left us drooling for more of this MC world.
Monroe is a strong, smart and fierce woman, forced to marry a traumatized, possessive, and dangerous man, Chains. Chains is like a toasted marshmallow, crispy and a bit burned on the outside but gooey and yummy on the inside. This book had me laughing, crying and many times needing a change in a certain piece of clothing we all typically wear. I am left full of yearning for the next book in this series!!!

I wish I could give this book 100 stars, it’s just that good. This author is at her best writing dirty mouthed, alpha bikers in a 1% MC. Chains and Monroe end up married via a business deal and Monroe is VERY much not pleased. However, sparks are flying all of the time and there’s a ton of romance, humor, family time, drama, and sadness. This book surprised me and made me both laugh and cry. This is an amazing start for a new series and I’m already in love with a ton of the brothers in the MC. The perfect epilogue was icing on the cake.

Instead of being a strong and independent FMC that cares for her family and does not need a man. She was whiny and annoying. Every step of the book she fought the MMC and when she did eventually warm to him, she kept reverting to her old ways and acting closed off toward him. It takes like 75% of the book for her to be tolerable. I gave it 2 stars and not one because I like the POV of the MMC and the side characters. The only reason I finished the book is because I hate adding to my DNF list.

3rd try?
The blurb looks really good. It reels me in every time. But then I start reading. I'm leaving this review to remind myself that book is unreadable as it is. Unless the author gets a good editor, it isn't worth trying to wade through. The MMC is great, but the FMC is horrible, and so is the writing.

I didn’t realize that this book was by the same author as the Renegade Souls series. My bad. Now that I know this I’m wondering if Roux and Butcher’s romance was covered in one of those books.*
Ooh, now that my memory has been jogged I think I remember the female crooked cop from the Renegade Souls book(s)
Now, getting back to this book, Monroe is the eldest daughter of a POS wannabe mafia type. He has four daughters that he uses as collateral or outright trade for some of his less than stellar dealings.
Chains overheard said father talking about turning over Monroe to a guy for his porn business. Chains makes her part of the deal when the club extends a repayment deadline to her father. Chains and Monroe are to be married for six months during which time the debt will be paid in full. (I don’t quite understand why they had to be married) Then they can divorce and each go their merry way.
Naturally they fall in love and Chains not only feels protective of her but adds her three sisters to the mix. Bad shit happens and Monroe decides to end the marriage. Chains is having none of it.

I fell head over heels for Chains the moment my eyes fell on him. Monroe, though, she wasn't my favorite. While the chapter titles hint to a duel POV, this third person story isn't a bad read. A little predictable in parts. A couple of really big opportunities were missed. I wasn't a fan of the ending. It's a stand alone with a HEA and a pretty red bow. I would have loved to see it end with a little more open ending so I'd want to read the other books. There's enough teasers to make me curious about the other characters, but Chain and Monroe's story is complete in the book. Doubt I'll buy others as this was free and helped me kill some time. Not a bad read overall.

Plot holes alllll over the place? Premise good, execution poor. Miscommunication trope? Snarky mean unlikeable h? Then this read is for you. I like tension and a bit of push and pull, but when it’s over 1/2 of the book and extremely over the top, then boom, a 180 in the h’s demeanor without showing any character development… it’s jarring. I get the author was trying to show the h was strong but it came across as mean spirited… especially the name calling.

This is my go to book when I'm in a book slump.
This is an MC read with MC drama. We get plenty of characters & I'm off to read Scarlett's book next.
This Chains /Jon & Monroe/Lucky's book. Chains did pick a fiery gal . Loved Monroe!! She has style, she has class & she has a temper 😡. When Chain loves, he loved Hard 😍😍. I Loved reading these guys love/hate relationship.

This book sounded pretty good. The plot was a good one and the characters were good, but the story just fell very short. While I expect a lot of sex, I want a good story to go along with it. At least 80% of this book was just sex, the plot was was basically a second thought in this book. I do like the characters, so I will give the next book a chance and hope for some good twists and turns plus action and suspense.

Amazing!!
This is the first book in a new series and this is Chain's and Monroe's story.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, humour, witty banter, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, heartbreak, loyalty, twists, and love, which all leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Chains and Monroe were a great couple with many complicated relationships. They both had physical abuse childhoods. Their arrange marriage was hard on both of them. Her sister’s murder was terrible and all them grieved for their lost. The storyline had a excellent beginning for this series.

Actually really good!!
I usually detest forced weddings but Monroe was such a strong character and chains let her vent. Didn't bulldoze orders but enjoyed her fire so I really did enjoy it.. Chains was an awesome character and a new favourite for me!! ... Glad I took a chance but I wish a certain person hadn't had to lose their life ...

Enjoyable
I loved Chains' character. It had just the right amount of humour, seriousness, protectiveness and oodles of love for his wife Monroe. The storyline was basic but enjoyable, introducing the main members of the Diablo Disciples MC. ( They are also in the Renegade Souls MC story about Roux and Butcher).

This is a new author for me. I’ve loved this story. Chains and Monroe have a great story. I am slightly 🔥 for Chains. This looks like a great new series. I can’t wait until more books are released.
