Molly Croft returns to Lighthouse Point to clear out her aunt’s cottage. Not that Shannon was really her aunt. She was her mother’s best friend until… she wasn’t. Molly spent every summer and Christmas on the island until she was twelve. Her mother and Shannon had a huge blowup and they’d never returned to the island and she’d never seen Shannon again.
So why had Shannon left the cottage to her in the will?
Wade couldn’t believe Molly was back on Belle Island. She’d been his best friend until she and her mother mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago.
As they renew their friendship, Wade helps her clear out the cottage—who knew Shannon was a hoarder—and they begin to unravel the mystery of what had happened all those years ago. Why Shannon and Molly’s mother had never spoken again.
Secrets slowly untangle with life-changing consequences.
Will a wish made at Lighthouse Point thirty years ago finally come true?
A long-awaited addition to the beloved Lighthouse Point series.
Kay Correll is a USA Today bestselling author of sweet, heartwarming stories that are a cross between women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is known for her charming small towns, quirky townsfolk, and the enduring strong friendships between the women in her books.
Kay splits her time between the Southwest coast of Florida and the Midwest of the U.S. and can often be found out and about with her camera, taking a myriad of photographs, often incorporating them into her book covers. When not lost in her writing or photography, she can be found spending time with her ever-supportive husband, knitting, or playing with her puppies - a cavalier who is too cute for his own good and a naughty but adorable Australian shepherd. Their five boys are all grown now and while she misses the rowdy boy-noise chaos, she is thoroughly enjoying her empty nest years.
This was a fast, easy, enjoyable read. I was looking for some good Christmas based stories, and I found it in this book. Although it is based on the Gulf Coast of Florida, one of the reasons this caught my eye is because I live on Florida's East Coast, right next to the city of Lighthouse Point. After I finish all the Christmas books I recently purchased, I plan to double back and read the whole Lighthouse Point series because I enjoyed this book so much. Well worth my purchase!
THIS BOOK WAS A WONDERFUL ONE TO READ. MOLLY RETURNED TO LIGHTHOUSE POINT WHERE SHE CAME YEARS AGO BECAUSE SHE INHERITED A HOUSE THAT SHE CAME TO IN HER YOUNGER DAYS. HER MOTHER AND SHANNON WHO OWNED THE COTTAGE HAD A ARGUMENT AND NEVER RETURNED. MOLLY CAME AND HAD FOND MEMORIES IF HER YOUTH. SHE GOT TO KNOW WADE WHO LIVED NEXT DOOR AGAIN. FOUND HER FATHER WHO SHE NEVER KNEW.
Lovely addition to this amazing series. Christmas can be a favorite holiday for some and not a favorite for others. I think this story has both! Long lost love, love rediscovered and the love of family all rolled into one! That’s all I’m saying so you can enjoy this wish at Lighthouse Point!
I absolutely loved these books! I read them in order, one right after another. I enjoyed getting to know the characters & share their lives for a short time. I especially like that each book could stand alone, but the characters populated the whole series. They definitely brightened my days.
Another amazing story from Kay Correll. I jut loved these characters and the plot of this book. Loved visiting with the original crew too. Looking forward to reading many more stories from this talented storyteller.
Once again, I’ve read this absolutely lovely story in one sitting and now have to wait for a new Kay Correll book! I have so loved them all! I could write more of a description, but that’s already on the jacket cover! I adore Kay Correll’s stories!
Another great story from Kay Correll. It did take me awhile to get into this book because it has been awhile since I read the lighthouse series but once I remembered all the wonderful characters I greatly enjoyed this book.
I love when new books come out in a series I thought was over. This is a other feel good book. A daughter and her mother coming together, a long lost friend found again and new romance. Everything you need in a good book.
I loved this story. Christmas Comes to Lighthouse Point is the first book by Kay Cornell I’ve ever read. Easy to read and nice. Just enough angst but a great HEA.
This is an excellent Christmas romance. I enjoyed it so much. It is a clean story. It has a fun and serious storyline. The characters are believable. Sit back and enjoy this wonderful story.
