Tyler wishes he could cut his brother out of his life. And sometimes he wishes he could just push Bran off a cliff. Of course, he never truly would, even if given the opportunity.
And not just because of their special twin bond. Tyler suffers from crippling anxiety and often depends on Bran to talk him through his dark thoughts and help him deal with their overbearing and controlling mother. He needs Bran in a lot of ways.
But now the brother who used to be a support is trying to micromanage his life, deciding where Tyler must live and who Tyler will date. And no matter how often Tyler dreams of being an only child, he’ll always be stuck as Bran’s twin.
The only way to fix this is to end his dependence on Bran. But if he does, life will never be the same.

Reading has always been a big part of Suzi’s life. She even won the most-pages-read award a few times in her junior high English class many, many years ago. She started several writing projects as a kid but never actually finished anything, and then she took a big break from writing that lasted well into adulthood.
She’s written in a variety of genres, including horror, suspense/thriller, and women’s fiction, and has even dipped into fantasy slightly with her fairy tale retellings. She has also published contemporary young adult stories under the name Suzi Drew.
Her job as a freelance editor means she gets to read at work too, something she enjoys immensely. Outside of the writing world, she likes spending time with her family and friends and her sweet and fluffy dog.
I mean it was okay, I guess. I knew early on what the ending was going to be so was wholly predictable. Nevertheless, it was a fun read even if it wasn't entirely groundbreaking for the genre. Decent writing but would've loved a bit more character development over than the boys are twins and are trying to forge their own sense of independence as they graduate college.
This short story packed a punch! Twins that have always been sheltered and controlled by their parents, who have always lived off their parents money and are soon to finish college and get jobs of their own. Bran is controlling as well and Tyler hates that he can’t stand up to his brother. He can’t find the strength to tell them he’s gay, he can’t find the strength to be his own self when his anxiety weighs him down. But what happens when Bran makes a big decision without consulting Tyler and Tyler’s dream man is now in his life? How can he sever the ties that bind him to his brother? - This story had some homophobia in it, forced double dates, a trip to a haunted farm (so good read for spooky season!) , anxiety disorder, and a twist at the end that I should’ve picked up on but didn’t! (Rather horrifying ending) I believe this is book 3 in the Twisted Twins series, so I def wanna check out the other books!
First pages I thought to myself, “oh they’re conjoined twins.” Then the book went out of its way to try and convince you that they’re not. But it does it so ambiguously, you start to think you’re nuts.
On top of all that, the story really wasn’t that good.

This book was a quick read and easy to follow but the end was a twist out of nowhere and super short. The book has good consistency but needed a longer ending to build off the climax. Maybe it will be elongated in the sequel!
I wasn't prepared for how decent of a plot twist the ending was going to be. This story kept me questioning everything I thought I knew, and left me with a twist that could only be possible in a readers mind. Brilliant.
I personally don't think the ending lived up to the rest of the book. It seemingly came out of nowhere and felt incredibly rushed. The first like 94 percent of the book was great, I just wish the ending was more put together.
