I am back in my *happy place* with Brooke Summers and the Fury Vipers MC. This is one of those series that interconnects the stories not just because of a story arc, but also the timeline. It is brilliantly unfolded and in my vast reading experience, I have only come across such intricate overflow between books a couple of other times. Start from the beginning and I guarantee you will be completely awed. #trust
The story of Tavia & Digger is not an easy story, but I wouldn’t say it was overly dark. I would categorize it as action packed with traumatic elements, passionate and sexy, and deeply emotional. It will keep you on your toes and fully captivated with its many twists and turns. I am fully invested in this MC and can’t wait to see what happens next!
There's something about this man that makes me weak at the knees and makes me want something I had sworn off for life. A biker.
4 stars!
Trigger warning: physical abuse, sexual assault, rape, kidnapping, MC violence and gore
I was excited to finally get to Octavia and Digger's story as Tav has been so sassy and fiery in previous books (especially towards Digger), and I just knew that they would have great chemistry. And while we've seen some of the backstory between these two, Brooke definitely delivered some surprising twists to their story that succeeded in bringing them together and complicating their lives. I did get annoying with Octavia a bit after her repeated attempts at independence resulted in her getting kidnapped or hurt, but overall I enjoyed this steamy and dark installment♡
Tropes: one-night stand, hate-to-love-you, secret baby, single father, second-chance romance, tortured heroine, dark themes
*ARC provided by GMB promo, and I voluntarily reviewed it*
If you're a fan of darker and grittier reads, Digger is definitely a great pick. Tavia has been through a lot in her life and despite her brash exterior, she suffers from insecurities and PTSD from a previous relationship. When she finally has the courage to get with Digger, the night doesn't go exactly as planned, with miscommunication getting the best of them. Digger also has a lot going on and there's on going club drama, but when he finds out about her past, he's all in.
Overall, I'm really enjoying the series. They're pretty quick reads. Not super deep, but entertaining :) which can really hit the spot. If you're a sensitive reader, you may way to check the trigger warnings. Digger is the 3rd book in the Fury Vipers MC and can be read as a standalone, but definitely best enjoyed when read in series order. The books do have overarching story arcs that continue from book to book, but each book is about a separate couple with their own HEA. The book is told in first person, from dual perspective.
Oh wow this author is fast becoming a favorite of mine! I can’t believe this is the first book I’ve read in this series and after Digger and Octavia’s story I’ll be definitely going back and reading the first two books in this series. MC romances are my jam I love everything about them and this one was no different it wasn’t as dark as I like them but it definitely has some dark themes to the story it was so passionate sexy and emotional I loved how much Digger cared for Octavia it definitely gave me all the feels the twists and turns kept me engaged I just couldn’t get enough of this story! I will immediately be reading the first two books while I patiently wait for the next book in this series.
This was good it had the pace to keep me engaged and wanting to read it. I like that we are getting to see how people are connected to each other now and I love it.
Let me tell you Digger (Tate) is so lovable its crazy. I just wanted to gobble him up. He's protective, loving, loyal, and will drop everything when Tavia needs him.
Digger has like Octavia for some time now and was determined to have her in his life. It's like the stars all line up because Digger finds out he has a son Cage which just happens to be the student of Tavia.
I loved Digger and Octavia’s story. It's fast-paced, sexy and sweet. I was so glad that they move past the misunderstanding quickly and Digger realised at that very moment that he wants Tavia and only her. And wow, that guy! He only saw one person and I loved that. He really works for it. And when he found out he has a son, it gets even better. And Tavia is just as amazing. I loved how much she loves Digger and Cage and vice versa. I loved seeing Cage become so very caring and protective of her. She brightens up their life. Then, of course, there's one with Ruby. I loved it. It is so sweet!
This is the third book in the Fury Vipers MC series and although you can read it as a stand-alone it’s much better if you’ve read the others in this series. There are lots of overlap between the different characters and a continuation of a theme running through the books. Well this book features Octavia (Tavia) Michaels and Tate (Digger) Miller. Both have been periphery characters in previous books and finally we get to hear their story.
It’s fair to say that Tavia has definitely been through the wringer where here relationships are concerned. Her previous boyfriend River was a very dangerous man and what Tavia endured at his hands was horrific. But she managed to escape although didn’t come out of those encounters unscathed. Octavia may have a handle on her work life but her personal life is a whole other matter. As far as relationships go the occasional hookup is fine but anything more well it’ll take a long time for her to move on from what her ex did to her. But then she meets Digger, her heart is all in but her head well that’s reliving the hell she went through. Add to that Digger is in an MC like her ex was and really she wants to run for the hills but the connection she has with Digger well she just wants him and that scares her.
All in all she very messed up you really felt for Tavia, the flashbacks she has are heartbreaking. But while she sees herself as damaged and “mental” all Digger wants is to be there and help her. I loved not just her relationship with Effie but Benji and especially Cage.
Digger has always been about all things MC, his brothers are the family he created for himself. He has his fun but his priority is the Fury Viper’s. That is until two things happen an unexpected phone call revealing a son he didn’t know existed and meeting Octavia. Family and protecting his people are his be all and end all. I loved his relationship with Cage, he’s barely reaching his teens and has already been through hell but the way Digger interacts with his son and develop their relationship is lovely. Also how he is with Tavia, Digger is a hard man not at all afraid to get his hands dirty but that’s not all he is. The love and how he cares for Tavia well he’s determined that she is cherished and protected. But keeping Tavia safe that’s not as easy as it could be with old enemies out to finish what River started.
This was a heart wrenching read at times and there are some aspects of this story that can be very triggering. So be warned. This was a brilliant book that I could not put down there was plenty romance and lots of action but also quite emotional. The way it tackled the affects Tavia’s previous trauma had on her mental/ emotional health and how those around her reacted to this did elevate the story substantially for me. This wasn’t just lip service but for me it actually enhanced the whole character development of all of the players in this book. You really get invested in what was happening and it was also a great continuation of the overall Hangman’s Disciple drama. The action and the surprises just kept coming and the overall storytelling was brilliant. This book gave you a bit of everything but most importantly it also gave you a HEA for Tavia, Digger and their own little family. This book is full of danger but also unexpected family and the lengths a club will go to to keep those they love safe. Now I can’t wait for Ace’s story.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
How wonderful to be back in the world of the Fury Vipers MC with book 3 and Digger, Tate Miller, and Octavia Michaels’ story. As is with the previous two books, this tale has some extremely dark, intense scenes and very serious elements. The lead characters were introduced in prior stories but it’s great to get to know them at a deeper level in this book.
Digger is a caring man who is extremely loyal to his club and follows the club oath and rules to the letter. Up until he met Octavia he hadn’t ever felt truly connected with a woman, enough to want to develop a lasting relationship. But… Tavia is a very different woman and that connection is almost automatic.
Octavia’s past trauma is monumental, and when I say that I mean absolutely stinking gigantic. I won’t go into details as it can spoil things for other readers, but suffice it to say, that its impact on her life now, is still troublesome. She is a really loving person who seems like a great person to guide young teenage students as a teacher.
There’s lots of action and plenty of drama—the kind where I found myself holding my head saying, “Oh, no!” I actually did that a few times then looked around to make sure nobody was looking. 🤦🏻♀️ I did feel at times things sort of ‘fell’ into place a bit too much but hey, it’s fiction. 🤷🏻♀️ Obviously, it’s a very emotional story and you definitely feel empathy for the lead characters, as well as other important secondary ones, and included is a terrific dash of humor. I’m looking forward to reading Ace’s story, especially after his epic stuff up at the end of this book.
Digger is the third book in Brooke Summer’s Fury Vipers MC series. This book is told in dual POV and is Digger and Octavia’s story. Reader beware this is an MC romance with a lot of graphic violence. Man, Brooke does not pull ANY punches! Digger comes out of the gate with violence and craziness and just builds from there. I really try not to pick favorites in a series (they are all my babies and I love them the same lol) but oh my stars.. Digger… *sigh* I love this man! He is brutal and vicious when he needs to be, he has the mouth of a sailor (especially in the bedroom), has the biggest heart, and isn’t afraid to show his emotions. This man really stepped up to the plate. Octavia… holy moly can this girl get a freaking break?! What does this woman need to do to have some peace? The hits kept coming and Tavia didn’t let them break her. She just kept getting up and fighting. I love how Brook writes strong AF female leads. Not only does Tavia keep fighting, she isn’t bitter or hard. Her heart is so big and she’s such a loving a loyal person she truly deserves all the happiness. Digger and Octavia’s chemistry is kindle melting hot and they are like two magnets who can’t stay away from each other. Digger’s plot is so freaking intense. The mess with the Hangman’s Disciples just continues from the previous books and Brooke has some crazy plot twists to connect everyone and everything together. I definitely never see them coming, but everything flows so seamlessly and it just pulls you in. Digger and Octavia are way more connected to each other than they realize. I couldn’t put this one down, it was so intense. This does end with a happy for now, and gives us clues to the next book. I have no idea what’s gonna happen but so can’t wait to find out. If you are looking for a dark and dirty MC romance with hot smexy times and all the feels, pick up Digger.. the men of the Fury Vipers MC will steal your heart, and the women will make you want to yell Girl Power! Love this series, I highly recommend it!

Octavia Michaels is on a little hiatus from love and relationships, her last left a mark on her heart that won't be healed any time soon. She needs time to heal and find herself again and rid herself of the bad memories her ex left behind. And she definitely doesn't want to mix herself up with a biker again... they are a special kind of trouble she wants to avoid at all costs!! But then she meets Digger...
From the opening lines of this one I had a feeling it was going to leave a mark, and I wasn't wrong. My heart broke for our heroine and all that she had been through. Her story hit me right in the heart, but it also managed to heal the damage by the time the last page came. It was such a beautifully constructed love story, one that I won't soon forget!
Octavia has a past that isn't pretty and she has a lot of emotional scars that it left behind, but then she meets Digger and as much as her head says to resist him, her heart tells her to run straight to him. She is at a loss with him, her past makes her want to push him away, but the way he makes her feel can't be ignored. It's a game of tug o' war for her heart, but one that she comes out of the other side of happier than she has ever been. I loved watching these two weather the storm and find their HEA, it was such a captivating and emotional charged story. One definitely worth picking up and taking a chance on, I guarantee it's pages will leave you thoroughly satisfied!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
This is the third book in the series. While they can be read as stand-alone romances, I think they are better read in order. Octavia has dated a biker before and that didn’t turn out so well. That was several years ago. Now she has meet Digger and as much as she doesn’t want to like him, she can’t deny what she feels for him. Then they sleep together. Digger wants her but they have a misunderstanding during their night together. Digger now must show her that she is his and that he doesn’t care about what happened. He just wants to be with her. Then Digger learns he has a son, Cage, a teenage son. And Octavia happens to be his teacher. Digger never really thought about claiming a woman or having kids. Now he has both and isn’t disappointed one bit about it. Then just when things are going well, someone attacks Octavia. Digger is going to do everything in his power to protect her but will it be enough? I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down once I started it. Cage is just like Digger. Digger is perfect for Octavia. I love when characters from previous books make reappearances. These characters are wonderful and I can’t wait to read more about them. I was so excited to finally see Octavia get the happy ending she deserved. Fantastic job Brooke.
Oh my poor Tavia, she's gone through hell, and it was so bad that she still suffers from intense PTSD. I wanted to hug her so many times through this book. Obviously, it left a lasting impression so she really tends to shy away from anything close to a relationship, especially with a biker, however, Tate (aka Digger) may just be the biker who helps her get past everything. They have a very intense connection which scares her to death because she's still so skittish, and yet, she can't seem to stay away either. These two start to grow closer after a few bumps in the road, and just when things are looking up, that nasty past of hers is back making for huge sinkholes, and now the stakes are even higher. I LOVED this story so much despite the atrocities Tavia went through since the reader does as well with her flashbacks. This means those with triggers need to pay attention to the trigger warnings because this story isn't for the faint of heart. To see how it all plays out, you'll have to experience it for yourselves by hitting those one click buttons as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
She has a past that puts an off-limits sign on any biker. One night. One biker man. Her life is about to change.
The club has been his life. No woman has made him want more than the moment--that is until Octavia. He's just felt her pull when his life changes. He'll have to make room for more than his club and he's all in. He just has to convince the teacher that she can have a future with a biker.
Life isn't going to be easy but with his club family, her family, and their feelings they plan to make it. The characters are unforgettable, strong, loyal, and dangerous. There is steam, love, danger, and commitment. Keeping her safe is going to be a full-time job but he has a family and club to back him up.
While this is my first book in the series, I am going back to read the first two. I had no problem keeping up even three books in. The author does an amazing job blending the couples' stories. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
First I have to say I freaking love Digger and Octavia. What a kick A couple. I loved that Tate aka Digger took to being a father so quickly and did everything to make sure that Cage felt loved and cared for and never talked bad about his mother not telling him about having a son. I thought that was fantastic. Digger's MC brothers werd always there for whatever needed to be done, whether it be taking out the bad guys or showing each other that they were loved. And can you imagine having Octavia as a teacher, how wonderful would that be. Even after everything Octavia went through she still had a forgiven and loving heart. And boy did she go through so much trauma, but she got up and went on with her life. I got to say I loved the relationship between her and her dad, so amazing. With this author when she writes a story you feel what the characters are going through. I absolutely love her writing and stories. This book is fantastic and this series is the bomb. Highly recommend.
The girls in the Fury Vipers MC series go through hell but they eventually get their man. Digger and Octavia have a little enemies to lovers tension when the book starts out. Octavia and Digger have a one night stand and when Octavia has a nightmare about her past trauma she kicks Digger out of her house leaving him confused and a little angry. He wants to make Octavia his old lady and must prove to her that he’s not like her abusive ex boyfriend. These two go through a lot of life events but seem to come out stronger then ever. This series is dark and you should check the trigger warnings before reading. This could be read as a standalone but it would be best to read Stag and Mayhem first so you know what the characters are talking about at times.
Loved Digger “Tate” in the previous books, so was excited to discover his book was next.
Octavia “Tavia” has known and loved a biker before, but that ended really bad! So she’s sworn off love and bikers, but Digger has a way of making her look past her traumatic experience and maybe looking forward to a future.
It does have a lot of triggers, it does have some moments where you’re holding your breath and hoping it all works out.
I loved how Digger stepped up and immediately fell in love with his son. His acceptance was so sweet. (You’ll find out more when you read the book 😉)
I loved the Vipers, all the bikers have a code/brotherhood that’s unshakeable (although there is a rat in the group 😧) Octavia’s family were great, (I’d love stories for her brothers 🤞) and her sister Serenity is a hoot 😝
We also have an ongoing side story (but it doesn’t really detract from the main story) it’s possible to read this one without reading the first two. We get to catch up with previous couples (always love it when that happens)
So can Tate and Tavia have a happy ending? Or will the feud the Vipers Fury have with a rival gang end it before it’s really begun? Can Tavia put her past behind her and grab her future?
MMC/FMC- Digger and Octavia POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Heat- This review is brought to you by the letter C, because when they do the things, they use all of the C words. Series? Y Cliffhanger? N Cheating? N HEA/HFN? Y Triggers- The Biker’s Trifecta (salty language, graphic violence, explicit erotic content). Also, Domestic Violence (not perpetrated by the Hero), PTSD, and mention of s. assault of secondary characters (which includes a pregnancy loss). Tropes- One-Night Stand, Secret Baby, Single Dad, Surprise Pregnancy, Mine, Hot for Teacher, Adorable Moppet. What I liked- the characters were great. I love that the heroine is a teacher who loves her work (and there’s more to her than that). And the theme of family in this book. What I didn’t- it was a little confusing that Kale and Malice are the same person. And the heroine is badly injured like five times in the book, which is a bit much. Verdict- Recommended. I enjoyed reading this book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Octavia has a real problem trusting men after her last boyfriend abused her. She isn't ready for any relationship even if she is willing to have a hot passionate night with a man. A few months ago she and Digger shared a night of passion. When she woke up with a nightmare, she pushed Digger away and out the door. When her past comes back to haunt her, Digger stands by her to protect her.
Digger wasn't looking for an old lady but one night with Tavia has him wanting more but he is hurt when she pushes him out of the door. A few months later he learns that Tavia had an abusive ex. She pushed him away because of her nightmare and not because of anything he did. He is determined to prove that she can trust him to protect and take care of her.

3.5⭐️ I really enjoy this series, this was Tavia and Digger's story. I love the characters but was annoyed at Tavia for constantly putting herself in danger. Especially since Digger's son, Cage, had just lost his mom and gotten really close to her. Tavia had been in a traumatic situation with a toxic ex and suffered nightmares, Digger was about as patient as a biker can be but knew she was his. There are some situations that could be triggers so check content warnings
if you're looking for mc romance with one night stand and single dad romance than this for you. please read trigger warnings. Tavia is such a sweet but feisty person with a love for children.Digger is such a strong headed with a dash of sweetness. I loved the chemistry that theses two had and how well Tavias relationship with his son was . It was such a cozy fun read very different from all the others. I definitely recommended.
How do these books keep getting better and better?! Ugh, Digger has got to be my favorite so far. There’s just something about that perfect balance of murderous and soft that has me feening. I absolutely adore this man—he was incredible with Cage and Tavi, so steady and soothing.
Octavia was interesting. I didn’t fully connect with her, but I still liked her for Dig.
Tavia has a troubled past due to an abusive relationship. Because of this she has nightmares. Digger had taken it in himself to protect her from the people that are trying to find her. He had to call on the members of his MC to help keep her safe. This was the third book in this series. It was a really good read.
I really enjoyed Digger and Octavia's story. I love how the backgrounds of the FMCs in the series are all intertwined but without them all knowing. They all are dealing with demons from their past and the MMCs are willing to risk it all to help them through their trauma and show them real love. I've really enjoyed this series!
I love this whole series Fury Vipers MC, a rocking 10 stars, wow…wow, it is a page after page turner, you never know what comes out or what the characters are getting up to, this writer is awesome. Trust me start from the first book, I didn’t I started with Kinsey’s story had to go back to the 1st book, I am starting Ace’s story now……
The story was good. I loved Digger and his brothers. The grammar and punctuation are so bad though. Incomplete sentences, wrong words used, wrong tenses of words... it was a mess. There were also several references to things never explained. It was hard to follow at times. Would have been 1 star, but I did like the story itself. It was just very poorly written.
Tate (Digger) and Octavia's story is my favourite so far in this series. So much happens in this book in a short amount of time, but as with all the previous books the men of the Fury Vipers and their women all come together to support each other. This is dark like the others, but in a different way. It flowed well and has great characters, looking forward to Ace's book.
Digger and Tavia are the couple you love. Tavia has dealt with so much in her past. Digger finds out he's a dad..these two together are absolutely combustible. So much drama and steam you won't want to put this book down. I can't wait for Ace and Eda's book. Absolutely love this series.
Digger and Octavia have a very difficult relationship. Octavia had a physically abusive relationship with a former ex boyfriend. Digger falls in love with Octavia and makes her his old lady in the MC world. Their is mystery and twists in this book.
