Hidden Depths

Escape to Darling Cove #2

by Holly Hepburn

**PART TWO in the brand new series from Holly Hepburn, perfect for fans of Cathy Bramley and Katie Fforde**

Eve has always lived on Ennisfarne, an idealic island just off the coast of Northumberland and only accessible when tides are low. There she runs a bar on Darling Cove, named after her ancestors who settled there many year ago.

Logan is a famous photographer desperate to get away from the bad press after a difficult break-up. Renting a cabin from Eve, he chooses Darling Cove for it’s beautiful views and the hope of anonymity.

The pair don’t get off to the best start, butting heads over Eve’s adorable but boisterous Chocolate lab. But when Logan's famous identity is revealed, Eve can’t resist the urge to help him.

About the author

I’ve wanted to write books for adults for as long as I can remember but I was too scared to try. One day I decided to be brave and dipped a toe into the bubble bath of romantic comedy with my first novella, Cupidity, and I’ve never looked back. I often try to be funny to be funny, except for when faced with traffic wardens and border control staff. My favourite thing is making people smile.

I’ve tried many jobs over the years, from barmaid to market researcher and I even had a brief flirtation with modelling. These days I am mostly found writing.

I live near London with my grey tabby cat, Portia. We both have an unhealthy obsession with Marmite.

Hidden Depths - #2 Escape to Darling Cove

[Emily]

It was so good, I couldn’t put it down. I loved how the chapters changed from the two main characters perspectives and always on a cliff hanger to what happens next.

Wedding photograper

Storms apart, the Island wedding of the year has to take place with only hitch being the marriage itself.
The Darlings play host in more ways than one during this instalment.

I love how this story is shaping up and we get to catch up with a character that the author has used in several of her books in this installment too. Now to read the next part....

[Hannah]

As Logan continues to show how human he can be. I am not buying him with anyone but Eve how helped him get that way. His friend Nick was a great addition in this part.
