This is another well written story by this author and she really did a fab job showcasing the importance of family and friends. The hacker antics were entertaining and I enjoyed how well-matched these two were. Expect humour, intrigue and heartbreaking/heartwarming moments to swirl around these broken characters as they find their way to healing and an HEA. Good fun!

This is the first book I have read in this series. Lukas Torres knew that the red-haired woman who sauntered into Mimi's Cabana was his mate as soon as he saw her. As a socially awkward bear shifter, he had no idea how he was going to manage to convince this beautiful human to be his. She obviously knew about shifters since she was there to meet up with members of the Polar Group. There was only one thing to do - hack her. But that wasn't as easy to do as he would have thought. Brennan Malkovich had some mad computer skills and he was impressed. So, perhaps a little breadcrumb would bring her his way.
Brennan couldn't believe someone had breached her security and she was fighting mad. But she was also aware that tracing the hack was a little too easy. But when the target of her ire just held her off and then - kissed her, she was thrown off her game. She ran. When he immediately seduces her dog at first meeting, she is lost. Traitor.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Brennan just dropped her sister off at another rehab hoping and praying this time she will fully recover. She was headed to Florida to see her friend Knox and his mate. She had a huge rescue dog as her companion who loves her dearly. Once she reached her destination, she kept feeling weird vibes. When they went to a local hangout, she saw a mysterious man who could not keep his eyes off her. Lukas is an assassin, tech wiz, and grizzly shifter. He felt his mate as soon as she walked in. She was everything to him but he had to be patient. When she discovers she has been hacked, she traces it to him. Their first encounter ends up in fireworks! Then, she sees him at the local pet store and it is obvious she feels the same way about him. There is no hidden agenda in this book, just the two of them trying to overcome their shyness to get together. It takes Parker and Carolyn stepping in with hilarious incidents that finally pull them together. Another great read that will have you laughing at the antics of the characters involved!

I couldn't
I have at least liked every book in this series, until now. I am not a hacker, but I have done some coding and feel like I understand how the internet works pretty well. The author seems not to.
Also, Brennan brings a bat and a taser, but doesn't know how to use either one? If not, why not take advantage of her combat capable bear shifter friend? And what happened to attacking with a virus?
By page 45, I was already annoyed about tech magic and Brennan naming her dog Tinkle Bell. (I'm guessing it's meant to be funny. Tinkle Bell instead of Tinker Bell, but it just felt like a mistake. Maybe because Brennan doesn't seem to have a sense of humor.) Brennan's complete attack incompetence and Lukas' social incompetence pushed me to close the book. Pinning a girl who is attacking you and kissing her is sexual assault, not sexy.

Although I had already preordered this book, when an advance copy became available, I jumped at the opportunity to read it early. It was just as good as the rest of the books about the other people I have come to know and love in Sunkissed Key.
Brennan and Lukas were both damaged souls who managed to find happiness in each other. I really enjoyed the way they went back and forth with their techie antics while they got closer. Fate was not wrong when it paired the two of them. I absolutely adored Tinkle Belle. He was so well written I wanted to throw my arms around him.
The last four chapters of the book were touching and emphasized the importance of family and friends. It’s a good reminder to us all.

This was a good story. Finally Brennan story. Brennan was Knox handler when he worked for the Organization. Now she gets her HEA. I wanted to refresh my memory on Brennan since it’s been a while since Knox book came out but was very unpleasantly surprised when I found it was no longer on KU. I also notice most of Candace Ayers books are not on KU anymore 😞 She was one of the authors I really took a liking to. Brennan and Lukas story is so sweet. I was disappointed that it is not 216 pages. The actual stories end at pg. 167. If you read P.O.L.A.R series and Cybermates you would remember Parker. That woman keeps everyone on their toes. Good read.

Brennan and Lukas are polar opposite’s with an affinity to computer hacking. They were each “recruited” at a very young age to do deep dives into firewalls and leave no trace behind. When Brennan shows up on Sunkissed Bay, fate steps in and Lukas realizes Brennan is his mate . There’s a lot of snark, humor and sexy heat to make your popsicles melt !! If you like your paranormal romance filled with heart, heat and happily ever afters this books for you. This is book 3 in the series and can be read as a standalone, but is best read in order. 4⭐️ ‘s for Candace Ayers newest installment of B.E.A.R.S

Well ...
Candace books are good, really good.
They are funny, steamy hot and very entertaining, the only thing that bothers me is why do you have to curse every 5th syllable? I have read other books and exciting without all that unnecessary nasty words & thanking satan....

I enjoy each time we come back to this group of shifters. Lukas and Bren were great together. It just took some time for Lukas to let her know she was his mate. All of the antics by the town's resident matchmaker and crew along with the miscommunications between Lukas and Bren made this a very entertaining story.

I love these books, and I'm so sad the series is ending. I wanted to know if Pete ever finds a girl, and here more about all the couples and kids they had. Maybe another series. There's so much more that could be written. Definitely read her books and start with P.O.L.A.R.S. YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED.

Loved It!
Absolutely the best story! Lucas is so cute and adorable. He is the only one who doesn’t recognize how special he is. I loved how Brennan challenges him. And who wouldn’t love a Saint Bernard named Tinlke Bell! Don’t miss it!

When Lucas first meets Brennan, he knows right away that she is his mate. Because Brennan is human, it tales her a little longer to feel the connection. Although a fast read, it was well written with a carefully thought out plot. Pleasing story and worth the time it takes to read.

Fun final book
I think this is the final book in the Polar-Cybermates-B.E.A.R.S. connected series. Brennan gets her HEA and the all of the couples are happy.

Book 3 was good but not my favorite. It was more an instant love no drama book. The characters were very interesting- from having to work in a bunker like environment to being raise in a military type orphanage. I would have liked Brennan to have more fight in her not just melt every time Lukas showed up. I thought she had some spunk but she melted. Having Parker in all these books brings everything back to the P.O.L.A.R series. It was an enjoyable read.
