When it comes to zodiac and introducing the ideas of astrology, Stella Andromeda does a lovely job at explaining the basics and principles of what you need to know. I’ve always been interested in actually understanding and furthering my knowledge on astrology, to not be something phony, and this was a great introduction for me. Specifically reading about my sign, the Capricorn (which I have always liked being even with little astrology knowledge), I am able to understand how connections to myself and others make more sense, relations, and subtle personal detail that could help explain natural personality. Though not everything is on the dot, there is explanation to that, and also insight to the general ideas of astrology and human connection. The topic is definitely related to my interests , personality, and wisdom. There is always more to learn and construct, however I’m glad I started with Stella Andromeda’s book. I ran through it fast, but I was able to understand what was going on and will refer back to it for future inquiry and study! Astrology is not to be a definite life path, but a GUIDE that can always be insightful to me and what I come across. :)

Es muy muuy fácil de leer. Las ilustraciones son muy chulas tm. La verdd es q a mi me gusta leer so re astrologia. Me parece curioso. Y tm me parece muy interesante. Ahora se leer la carta astral, con ayuda, pero mola.

This was a birthday present from one of my best friends, that knows how much of an astrology head I am - I even have a tattoo of my star sign and another one with hints of Capricorn things.

I think this book is excellent for those that might be initiating their knowledge on astrology, which is not necessarily my case, as I already knew how to read birth charts and things like that, and I also disagreed with some things that are said here, even thought I can understand here that they come from a place of generalisation.

A good book to pick up if you want to know more about your star sign, and where to start with astrology!

[Se lo recomiendo…] Cierto o no, me entretiene leer estos temas. Y es que cuando algunas ideas te las repites seguido, por el principio de autosugestión, puedes hacerlas realidad. Me gusta identificarme con mi signo. Este libro es parte de una colección de los doce signos zodiacales. Y, obvio, leí el mío.
El libro está dividido, principalmente, en dos. La primera es sobre la descripción del signo en cuestión, la segunda para entender en conjunto el tema que agrupa a los demás libros, pero que se repetirán en el resto de la colección, por lo que no necesitas comprarte todos.
Libro colorido y concreto, sin explayarse tanto, de un tema entretenido.

A cute display piece but really just confirmed my opinion that astrology is (at best) a fun tool for at-home psychology. Based on all the descriptions of Capricorn in this book, I was left wondering whether I should call my mother and ask whether she lied on my birth certificate. Also, I'm going to have to break up with my boyfriend now since it rated his sign as the least romantically compatible with me. Too bad - I really loved him.

Some cool stuff in the first 2/3, including bits that were so accurate I was kinda shocked. The last 3rd is about interpreting your birth chart, which is not included in the book and you have to seek elsewhere, so that wasn’t as effective.

Picked this up in the library for the pretty cover and cute size! The content was not very memorable or novel but the illustrations were cute and the graphic design and layout of the book was very sleek. Was a quick read (finished the whole thing on the bus ride back to campus).
