This is a short story (80 pages), but it's how a good story should be.
Olivia has been in love with Beckett, her father's bodyguard, since she was fifteen years old.
Beckett fell for Olivia at hers sweet eighteen.
Since Olivia's father is a mafia boss, she ran away from home when her best friend was killed.
Now, they are at war again and Olivia may be in danger, so Beckett has been ordered to find her and take her home.
Olivia only has one friend, Emma .
Emma sold her virginity in an auction, she was lucky, her professor, Colten, bought her.
Now, she's doing for Olivia what Olivia did at the time for her, she's trying to convince her not to go to the auction.
In this short story, Faith give us all the information we need to understand the all situation.
It's not insta, though the relationship is, but these two have history (like Colten and Emma), so it kinda makes sense.
One thing, Olivia should have told something to Emma, in the end.

Olivia (h) fled her mafia family after the death of a friend and has barely scraping by on her own. Beckett (H) has been tasked by her father to find Olivia and bring her back to the family. He's been watching her for a while and when Olivia tries to make money by selling her virginity at an auction, Beckett steps in. He has his hands full keeping Olivia safe from attacks by a rival mafia family and with keeping his hands off Olivia. Lots of action and adventure in this quick read with a side of hot and steamy action too.

Olivia is a mob princess and Beckett works for her father and is to take Olivia home and keep her safe. Olivia ran from home but now she is desperate for money so she decides to auction her virginity off to the highest bidder. When Beckett finds out he's not going to let it happen and things go into protective mode. I loved Beckett and Olivia together and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. Highest Bidder is a great addition to the multi-author series The Auction and I look forward to reading more books by Faith Everly. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Olivia ran away from her crime family a year before. Beckett was tasked to find and to bring her back. But what her father didn't know is that Beckett has had a crush on Olivia for years. They meet again and their whole life changes. Sparks fly and their attraction is off the charts. 🥵 But Olivia is being threatened and Beckett had to fight for his woman. Dark, sweet, romantic ,steamy, with action and drama(no OP drama ) but with a sweet HEA at the end 😍😍😍

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I liked this story and the characters. Beckett and Olivia were never allowed to acknowledge the feelings they carried for each other. Desperate and determined to survive, Olivia heads for the auction block. Beckett isn't going to let her get that far. Their story has plenty of drama, conflict, danger, family, passion and love.

Highest Bidder is the forbidden love story of
Olivia and Beckett. Beckett is the right hand man if Mob Boss Paul Giordano and Olivia is the Princess. Needless to say them being together is a huge no but, stranger things have happened. This is a great, fast paced short story and is the perfect one sitting read.

Loved this little spin-off novella! I am a sucker for a bodyguard romance and this was just perfect. Olivia and Beckett’s chemistry was insane and he was so possessive over her I LOVED it. Highly recommend this!.

Absolutely loved the newest book in the Auction series. Olivia is at the auction trying to get her own life before she is taken by Beckett the one man she fears and wants. I love how these two get their perfect life. A huge fan of this author and series.

I thought this was a great story. I couldn't wait to see what happened next for Olivia and Beckett. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more by her.

Olivia has been hiding from her mafia family for a year now. It hasn't always been easy but she thought finally she was making it until she was robbed. She needs money to pay her rent so she does something that she would not normally do. She sets herself up to be auctioned. Beckett has been asked by his boss to find Olivia, his daughter. Beckett has been allowing her to be 'free' until that night. He isn't going to let anyone else have her but him. What will happen to them after the auction?

A sweet short story with lots of action.

Olivia is selling her virginity to pay some bills I guess... But Beckett, her bodyguard, is ordered to bring her back home. He follows her to this auction house and buys her. They both struggle with feelings towards one another before she left her Dad's house. Now, on the risky journey back to her Dad's house, they struggle resisting these feelings.

A cute quick read. It wraps up with a nice little bow.
