Ellie Neuman has her dream job as the local university’s librarian. If she could pack up all the books and move them inside her little apartment, she’d never leave home. Ever. But when Gerri asks her to come out to a classical stage play, Ellie can’t refuse. There, she meets someone who might tempt her out of her comfort zone. Or maybe not.
Mason Wright, billionaire playboy, doesn’t have a home; he has many. None of which he spends much time at. If he slows down, his past may catch up to him and burn him into cinders. He can’t take that chance. So when he meets his fated mate, a homebody, he can’t accept her lifestyle.
Gerri has her work cut out for her on this journey. Let’s hope the stars are in her favor.
Opposites attract kind of story, and I didn't think it would work out. Mason was a jet-setting billionaire, Ellie was a small-town librarian. They didn't have much in common except a love of books, but Gerri Wilder sets them up, and the magic of mating happens.....until reality sets in, and it all goes out the window. It's a lovely story, with lots of interesting characters and some hot action between the main characters, it could go either way!
It's a fantastic new read for all paranormal romance lovers out there. I think it's very relatable in the sense of their relationship. There wasn't much in the way of paranormal, so most romance readers would like it too. I did receive this book as an ARC, but this is my honest review.
Mason and Ellie might Gerri's hardest match ever. Until it isn't. Considering she has never failed, Gerri will make sure these two come together, and help each other heal. Another wonderful read in the PDA universe. This is my voluntary opinion of an advanced copy I received.
This was another great addition to the Paws and Whiskers series as well as being a delightful addition to the PDA Universe. The characters were endearing and kept my coming back for more.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
