Your typical computer programming book. Did a great job for the first 2/3 of the book breaking down C# and .NET 6 there were even some great sections where they'd cover a topic and go into detail about how it changed over several versions.

The part that bothered me and this is nit picking was the last 3rd when you get EF, ASP.NET and WPF all shoved in several chapters. Those topics should all be books on their own.

Basically the C# Bible at this point. It's insane how much great info is within these pages.
Don't try to read it cover to cover. You will lose.

The ASP.NET Core projects felt over-engineered, but I understand this was intentional for learning purposes, which made them a bit challenging to follow when introduced simultaneously. Additionally, the complete absence of diagrams or illustrations throughout the book made it harder to visualize some concepts and track which project references which project. That said, as another reviewer mentioned, this is an excellent resource for learning C# fundamentals and becoming familiar and productive with various .NET technologies, many of which already have dedicated books for deeper exploration.
