Forward Day by Day is a booklet of daily inspirational meditations reflecting on a specific Bible passage, chosen from the daily lectionary readings as listed in the Revised Common Lectionary or the Daily Office from the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer.
The meditations are rich in substance and offer a wide range of witness and experiences. Each month’s meditation is written by a different author, providing fresh and diverse messages to readers on a regular basis.
Forward Day by Day is published February/March/April; May/June/July; August/September/October; and November/December/January.
About the Authors

Patricia Marks was ordained an Episcopal deacon in the Diocese of Georgia after she retired from teaching English at Valdosta State University. She loves writing and knitting and traveling with her astrophysicist husband. Read more of her writing at sisters-in-faith.org, a website commemorating deaconesses.

Lynne Jordal Martin works for a major news organization. A passionate Education for Ministry mentor, she serves on the vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street and the Forward Movement board. She lives with her family in Westchester County, New York, and worships at Christ Church in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Mallard W. Benton is a husband, father, grandfather, and friend who’s retired and writes and volunteers in the Atlanta area. He and Althea have been married 42 years.

Forward movement
As always the reading of the Forward Day by Day remain a great guide for worship and bring together the lessons and readings of the daily office as a part of our lives. The presenters here continued that tradition.
