Troy Kringle has invested his whole inheritance into the success of his new adult toy company. As a reformed bad boy, he's bossed up and swears to no longer engage in work place shenanigans. But when the new engineer at the toy company balks at the idea of making adult devices more realistic for marketing purposes, Troy has to take matters into his own hands. Or rather, put his member into her hands to show this scientist how real things can get.
With an engineering degree in one hand, Maya Turr prefers to create medical aides that combat female anxiety with the other hand. When she lands a job at Kringle Knotty or Nice Intimates, she's sure she's found where she belongs. Until the company's marketing director insists she makes her medical aides more realistic. Maya is sure realism -aka making the toys resemble male anatomy- will clash with functionality.
When the male model who she's supposed to mold the new design after shows up, Maya has second thoughts. She's certain that this model's member just might break the mold. Troy doesn't disabuse the hot engineer about who he is when he shows up at her lab for a chat. Pretending to be the model might be the only way to get her on board with his marketing plan. But when research gets too real, the two of them might be in danger of losing more than their jobs. They may have already lost their hearts.

”The purpose of a vibrator is to relieve stress and anxiety. A penis does not do that.”
Maya makes sex toys. She firmly believes that vibrators are not toys- they’re medical devices. Troy is her boss that she’s never met- and man, they have an incredible first meeting. It involves a mold kit (yesssss they’re molding what you think they are! 😏) and mistaken identity, as well as a touch of romance. I enjoyed it, four stars.
important bits: no virgins no OM/OW no cheating safe HEA 💗
I had a hard time following some of this book. Some parts didn’t make sense. It was done in third person and and I didn’t enjoy that in a book.
Troy meets Maya when he goes to talk to her about a prototype. She assumes he is the model and he doesn’t correct her. She gabbers on about how her bosses want something more life like and he can’t get enough of her talking. She has never meet anyone who has taken an interest in her work. He is her boss and she is his employee. She leave and goes home assuming she’s been fired. He starts packing his things when his sister finds him. She tell Troy to go talk to HR. When she arrives at work the next day she is called to HR and he asks her to sign paperwork. Troy wants Maya to be his.

I’m really still a little unsure how I feel about this book. It was strange to me. Maya was so very stilted (which I get is supposed to be part of her character) but Troy was honestly not very likeable for most of the book for me. So it took a while for them to grow on me. Overall just an okay read.
Troy and Tanya are twins they are running the company now to get their inheritance Troy is a bad boy Troy went for the lab. To discuss the mold of the new product He falls in love with her and the next day says he will leave the company she said no they end up becoming g a couple and go forward with the new product
I really enjoyed Maya, I liked that she was so analytical about passion, sex, and orgasms in general. Troy was a little annoying to me in the fact he was a total playboy with the attitude to match. I really do wish this story was a little longer though.
This was a short, fun story with a whole lot packed into it. I would be mortified if something like that happened to me but they just took it in stride.
The idea of the story is a nice one, but the story was rushed. I also expected a bit of humor in it because of the subject and the personality of Maya. Easy to read short story
