I had so much fun writing Leave It On The Field because baseball is my favorite sport! Also, I loved reuniting the gang from all of my old books. I so enjoyed writing for Seb and Sophie from Truth or Tequila again. This book is a tribute to their sweet devotion to each other in the midst of so many people trying to tear them apart. I was so happy to have Seb and Sophie's story again! I absolutely loved them in Truth Or Tequila and loved them even more in this one! Seb is the best husband ever! So attentive, caring, protective and is so in tune to Sophie! Sophie is definitely one of my favorite female characters. She's amazing, kind, funny, caring and loves Seb like no other! I loved seeing Seb and the team play in the world series and the all the drama that occurred during it with this troll (which you won't believe who it is in the end)! I loved seeing so many characters from other books in this one and seeing all there friendships, so amazing. Such a fun read and definitely recommend picking it up!

Fun-to-read baseball sports-related romance -- but nothing new or surprising-- and a little silly when all was said and done.

After having taken up 3/4 of book space, the tug-of-war between two old friends, along with the big social media ruckus just fizzled and disappeared in one or two paragraphs with nothing fully resolved in either case. Clearly a case of much ado over nothing.

Ummm. Amazing. I’ve read this series religiously since 8 years and this book is one of my favorites if not my actual favorite. I received an ARC & started it immediately. I kinda picked @ it @ first & then couldn’t stand waiting so I grabbed a glass a wine & snuggled up with my baseball loving kiddo & crushed it. My husband cleaned the kitchen without his shirt on & I didn’t even notice 🤣. It. Is. That. Good.

Seb & Sophie’s continued story is so good & all of my favorite characters were there. It brought me back to different times in my life & made me laugh out loud & tear up. I can not recommend this book enough. Read it.

Overall an enjoyable story. However, I was highly annoyed with how naive Sophie was with any character attempting to take advantage of Seb or her. There were so many red flags with some of the characters and she still struggled to accept some of them, even when there was undeniable proof (gathered by trustworthy characters). It was irritating. But, it was also cathartic (sort of…. maybe?) once Sophie accepted the info and let her anger shine.

This was the first time I have read an ARC and boy am I so happy I didn’t have to wait longer to read this book! Did I finish this book in a matter of hours? Yes, yes I did and I have no shame. Another great book by Donna and edition to the series. I love how all the characters are intertwined in the books. I find I typically read series and get sad when I don’t hear more about characters I have gotten to know and enjoy. I can’t wait to go back to Blitzen Bay and see what happens next for our crew of friends!

Donna Schwartze, you are a genius. I love her books, but discovered them through Truth or Tequila with Seb & Sophie! I didn’t know what she would do with this book but I loved it! I love the continuation of this story on the baseball field and Seb’s quest for a World Series Championship. Im excited to see where this story goes with the next book with all the friends back together in Blitzen Bay!

I was so honoured and excited to receive the ARC book for Leave It On The Field By Donna Schwartze. I've literally been counting the days down. Ever since I read Truth Or Tequila which I also read as an ARC, I have fallen in love with Donna books and this series, and with this next book Donna did not disappoint, it just made me fall even more in love with this series and characters.

I was so happy to be back for more of Sophie and Seb, I couldn't wait to read how married life is for them both. The love Seb has for Sophie melts my heart so much, I get warm fuzzy feelings of the love and the care they have for each other. With Seb being a famous baseball player has its challenges though. Seriously, this broke my heart for both of them, especially when someone from social media starts to come after Sophie, and at the beginning it is just small, until they start posting about their private life. Sophie is such a bubbly and fun person and to see her get this hate was heart wrenching. I love that we have all the Blitzen crew characters, it was so great to have them all together again. So many laughs between them all and banter. Sophie and Seb's relationship is put to the limits for both of them. I loved that this book had mystery too, like all the way through I was like can we trust them, or can we not. There are few hateful characters and wow they seriously made me angry. A lot of sweet and adoring and sweet moments, also a few tearful moments but one thing for sure this book was outstanding and I couldn't stop reading it.

Donna is a sensational writer, the characters and the world  she has created has so much love and power of family and friendship. I love this gang so much and every time we get a new book with them all, it brings a massive smile to my face. It has everything you could ask for in romance, laughter, love and crazy awesome fun and of course life's challenges. I can’t recommend this book enough if you haven't read any of Donna’s books, I do recommend starting from the beginning, you can read these as standalones. But you will  get the full love for these characters as they turn up all through the series, outstanding and breathtaking read, I can't wait  for your next book Pretty Close To Perfect.

En esta nueva entrega ambos personajes se encuentra felizmente casados, y junto a todo el grupo de amigos que se nos van introduciendo a lo largo de universo de Donna se llegan a encontrar para el World Series. Lamentablemnte , este no es el inicio de una historia feliz de recien casados; Alguien lleva meses acosando via redes a Sophie y poco a poco esto se va llendo de las manos.

Ame con todo mi corazon este nuevo libro, llevo este mes leyendo The Trident Trilogy y sin duda Donna es un SI O SI LEER. Todos sus libros son mega entretenidos , cortos y llevaderos. No solo eso , sino que tambien se pueden leer como autoconclusivos.
Sophie y Seb son unas de mis parejas favoritas de todos los libros de Donna. Si les gusta un chico completamente enamorado , golde retriver vibes, una protagonista que literal no se rinde y va a por lo que quiere este sin duda es un libros para ustes, un plus seria un buen grupo de amigos completamente dispuestos a ayudar sin importar donde y cuando ellos estaran ahi.

This book was like all my guilty pleasures combined together for the most utterly delicious read! There is something so satisfying about Donna Schwartze's reality world . . . grumpy and gorgeous baseball players, badass female characters who outbrain even their NavySeal partners & tough guys, silly parents who live for embarrassing their kids and know how to bring it for a good party, and even romance for our older beloved grandparent characters!!!

I picture one of my favorite Bravo shows in my head while I'm reading but the truth is, the reality show that is this story is SO much better. The girls are smart and tough. The guys are funny yet always respectful (well the good guys anyway!) There are the always loveable but sometimes frustrating minor characters I love so much - Joe, Ray, even Chick makes an appearance. I love that even in the backdrop of the World Series those incredibly relatable moments still show up for our favorite characters - mothers bugging newlyweds for grand babies, "friends" from high school jealous that their friend has an adult life, even tummy aches from celebratory cheesy bread! Donna's reality world is fantastic and fun but relatable and comforting.

This book is my 81st romance of the year and it felt refreshing. In 81 books, the tropes are constantly reimagined for readers and it's impossible for them not to feel redundant. I loved this continuation of Seb & Sophie's love story because we got to revisit our favorite book peeps and the story does not feel formulaic. It's baseball and fun and we are so invested in all the characters that it's truly an ensemble party reunion of a story. I devoured every word!

And finally, as a baseball obsessed mama, I love the actual sports here. The joy of imaging a World Series run, the feeling of pulling back the curtain to see what goes on behind what the fans see, and the fact that the few moments of actual baseball are real and written by someone who actually knows the game were beyond satisfying and honestly just felt delightful.

I'm so hooked on this author and her fun stories. Easy, quick, pleasurable reads are exactly what I've been feeling this year and finding Donna Schwartz has been so much fun!! Cannot wait for the next adventure. Do yourself a favor and READ.THIS.BOOK. 🙌🏽💯♥️⚾️

Seb and Sophie have a special place in my heart. Truth or Tequila was the first book from Donna Schwartze I’ve read. It’s always fun whenever I read one of her books. I was so captivated by Leave It On The Field that I finished it in a day. I was too focused and didn’t want to stop reading to highlight as I was reading.

You only need to read Truth or Tequila before reading Leave It On The Field. All of the other books are not necessary but are recommended. Donna has a reading order suggestion chart on how to read her books. She created a world where her characters overlap. They exist in the same world. And Leave It On The Field is an excellent example of coexisting characters and crossovers in the other series. I love that there are notes as reminders. It summarizes what you need to know before reading about the characters and their relationships if you haven’t read the others or it’s been a while. I didn’t read the second book in the series. The order I read the books was Truth or Tequila, Runaway Bride of Blitzen Bay, and then Leave It On The Field. After finishing Leave It On The Field, I didn’t want to leave the world, so I read all the other books in the suggested order. I enjoyed Leave It On The Field before, but reading the rest of the books, made the experience even better.

I loved the twists. Just when I thought I knew where the story was going, another twist was thrown in that made me surprised.

I still love Seb. It’s Seb and Sophie against the world. Yet, despite all the obstacles thrown at them, they stuck together. They’re a great example of love conquers all.

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: Sophie and Seb are back! This time around, they’re back for the World Series. ⚾️🏆

With Seb’s celebrity status continually skyrocketing, Sophie is feeling a lot of pressure from his fans. She is bashed in media whenever Seb has a bad game, and even when he has a great game, calling her a distraction, gold digger, and some rather nasty names. When one particular Twitter account pops up somehow knowing a little too much inside information, and getting a little too threatening, they realize it’s time to face this head on.

I actually ended up enjoying this one even MORE than Truth or Tequila! While I haven’t read all of Donna’s books, it was nice to have the whole Blitzen Bay crew together. The overarching theme of friendship throughout this book really held everything together nicely.

This story was a quick and FUN romcom. The mystery of the anonymous Twitter account made this a fast paced read. I loved that there were so many possible suspects for who could be behind the Twitter account.

I was satisfied with the ending, but I do hope we get more of Ricky’s storyline in future books. I felt like that storyline was a loose string that wasn’t tied up, but that could very well be on purpose given all Donna’s stories are connected.

We first meet Seb (professional baseball player) and Sophie (PR consultant) in 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙖. The sweetest couple ever!! 🥹 Now married, they are navigating the fame and downfalls of it. Unfortunately, it mostly consists of Sophie taking the brunt of the bad stuff. Things seem to get more out of hand as the team nears the World Series, Sophie comes under fire via a jealous troll threatening her on Twitter. But no one can seem to figure out who this person is.

All of my favorites are there to help along the way..I mean how can you not be obsessed with a group of Navy SEALS, bad ass CIA feisty women, professional baseball players and of course, sweet baby, Mo. They bring plenty of laughs along with them.

This book was such a fun read that gives a little suspense, laughs, sweet moments, low steam and a good lesson that family and friends mean everything.

Even better, at the beginning of the book, Donna has mapped out characters, how they met and who they are. 😍 So, if you’re not able to binge you can still get caught up easily.

This series continously gets better. I fall more in love with every character in each chapter.

The main premise is that Seb is in the world series and someone has been personally attacking Sophie on social media. The attacks are personal and intimate - things only someone on the inside would know. *DUN DUN DUNNN*

While this one mostly focuses on Seb and Sophie from Truth or Tequila,
the entire Blitzen Bay Crew makes an appearance. Their friendships have developed so much and each character stands out. I love how everyone has a role in protecting and hunting down the keyboard Warrior. And my absolute favorite guy, Butch does NOT disappoint with his witty comebacks and alpha male protection.

I had my suspicions on who the attacker was but I DID NOT see those connections coming. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time leading up to the big reveal. I laughed, I cried and I fricken cheered my damn heart out.

I cannot wait for everyone to be reunited again and for the stories to continue.

LOVED! I didn’t know what to expect since we technically got the happily ever after in book one. But when I got into the mystery part of the book I was beyond thrilled. I mean we get the whole Blitzen Bay group?! Plus Maisie and Seb’s friends… true blissful perfection!

While this book could be read as a standalone, I would HIGHLY suggest reading Truth or Tequila and the Blitzen Bay novels!! (I haven’t read Millie and Mason’s series yet, but that’s because I know the series is more intense and I have to closely monitor my anxiety 😬😬😬 — but if this was seven years ago I would be all over it — so basically read everything 😂)

Also, baby Mo is so cute and needs to be the star of every book 🤗
And Sam + his “companion” = 🥰

Seb and Sophie are two amazing characters that love and respect each other. They are faced with some challenges that question their staying power but their grit and determination win.

All the characters that Donna gives us are amazing. Seb is so intense and questioning his future…his love for his wife is beautiful. Sophie loves her husband and is his greatest fan - Donna wrote her so beautifully in this book, you will feel her pain and anguish but scream at her not to give up!

Butch will be my forever favorite and he brings his sass and attitude into this story.

The touch of suspense is great - I laughed out loud during many scenes and there are a couple of scenes that will have you blinking back a few tears.

I highly recommend this book and all of Donna’s other books. I received a complimentary copy and I am leaving my honest review.

Where are my sports fan at, especially baseball?!

This book series is for you! The books can be read as standalone but if you want to start at the beginning, start with Truth or Tequila, where you meet Seb & Sophie for the first time.

In this book Sebs' team has made it to the World Series. There so much excitement and choas but someone is on a mission to destroy their marriage by posting awful tweets about Sophie. Can they find out who is behind the account before it's all too much for Sophie and Seb starts striking out?

...and I must agree with Sophie in that pizza and cheesy bread are NOT the same thing. And of course you need both and extra marinara to dunk them both in!

Third book in this series that could be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the books in order.
Before the book starts the author gives a rundown of the characters because of how much they overlap between this and her other books - which I appreciated since I haven’t read her other series.

This book wraps up the story of Seb & Sophie well. I enjoyed it as much as the other 2 books. I enjoy the overlap of characters because it makes you want to read their stories as well. Seb & Sophie had many challenges in this book but I enjoyed reading about them working through it. The characters in these books are very likable which makes you want to keep reading.

Leave It On the Field is the third book in the Grand Slam series by Donna Schwartze. Seb and Sophie who we met in Truth or Tequila are back. Just when Seb and the guys are ready to start the World Series someone has been saying some very nasty things about Sophie on social media. Until they find out who is behind all this, their friends rally around them for support. I just love this group of characters - they are genuine, funny and loyal no matter what! Highly recommend this book! And can't wait for the next one!!!!!

When I tell you I loved Seb and Soph relationship from the first book and then I got spoiled and was given a second book I am so happy. Let me just say that Seb and Sophia are literally perfect for each other. I also loved how we saw everyone in this book as well from the other series all together glad everyone met. Butch has a special place in my heart and I loved how mason and him just said yep we are here to help Sophie. This was a perfect conclusion to their story and I think it showed like how his fame truly effected her as well.

this may be my favorite

The twists and turns were incredible. The plot line with the tweets were a 10/10. I couldn’t put this book down. Read it in one sitting. It’s cute, relatable and well done. I want to be friends with this group of folks because man do they love each other. Cannot wait to read the authors other books. A great trilogy and love story(ises.)

I haven’t read romance in a long time but this series sucked me right in and I love Donna’s style of writing. Onto her next series!!!

Received an ARC and could not wait to dig in! Yes I finished in one day! I’ve loved all of Donna Schwartz books but I do think this one is one of my favorites!! Seb and Sophie are back and Seb is in the World Series. Someone is stalking Sophie and making her look bad in everyone’s eyes. I absolutely LOVE that a lot of the past characters are back to help protect Sophie and figure out who’s behind this. I laughed and I cried so good!! Can’t wait for the next one!!’

I loved this journey through part of Seb and Sophie’s relationship because they have such a sweet bond that started in Truth or Tequila! Facing some of the challenges of his fame tests that bond! This book follows Seb & Sophie as he tries to win the World Series. Seb is extremely famous and Sophie is feeling the pressure of it. Someone has created a fake profile to bully her but no one can figure out who it is.. can they work through the challenges of his fame and her safety?

This book is a little bit of romance,mystery & everything else. I’m a sucker for sports romance books so this book was everything for me.

I listened to the audio. The narrators did a good job. I enjoyed the way they told the story and gave the characters a voice.

I found this series to be enjoyable and relaxing to listen to. I liked his one the most as it starts with the banter between the players in the dug out I think it's called or batters box not sure. Like the other two I listened to I found it cute, funny and a bit sexy.

Couldn’t put this one down….finished it in less than 24 hours. I’ve loved this series so far. Sophie & Seb 😍 Got to love a good sports romance and I love their family and group of friends. What a great book shows how true friendship works. I love each couple for their unique qualities but again Butch is my favourite by far. Although I think Roman comes in a close second I'd love to try his Paloma. I would love to go to Blitzen Bay it sounds so tranquil. Thanks for another really good read.
