About the author

Mrs. Turner is retired from teaching and is writing full time in her home in Northern California. She has taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 for 18 years. She enjoys traveling to exciting places while researching ideas for stories and novels. She also participates in Renaissance Fairs in Northern California. She often can be found walking about fair playing the Gaelic Harp. She has been wire-wrapping crystal pendants and selling her jewelry on-line and at craft fairs since 1989. She recently has expanded into creating soap products. When not doing her hobbies, she enjoys quiet time with her cat and husband. The cat, of course, is the center of attention.

Her fourth book in the Crystal Keeper Chronicles, The Lost Secret of Time, released on Sept. 10, 2018. She also has recently released two picture books, "I Don't Want to Wear a Mask" in Sept. 2020 and "I Don't Want to Get a Shot" in Feb. 2022. During the lockdowns, she wrote out her knowledge from self-publishing into an instructional book called "Get Ready to Push the Button: A Beginner's Guide to Self-Publishing". It released during the summer of 2020.

She is currently working on a sequel to her Crystal Keeper series in which Brewford tells his stories.
