Laura Williams hasn’t stepped foot in her hometown since she was old enough to leave.
But when a doctor calls about her mom’s declining medical condition, she has no choice but to return home and look after her.
Besides, it couldn’t be as bad as living in a city with the man who broke her heart. 2 weeks before their wedding.
As a 35-year-old journalist, hanging onto her job by a thread, and healing from a broken heart, Laura goes back to North Carolina to take care of her mom, agreeing to take on any stories that come her way.
When she arrives, the small-town is on edge because a thirteen-year-old girl has gone missing from Lighthouse Lane…again.
Memories come flooding back, and it all sounds eerily similar to when Laura’s best friend went missing from that exact location 17 years ago…
It gets more complicated when she realizes she knows the missing girl’s father. Harry Matthews, who is just as handsome as she remembers.
Laura makes it her mission to do whatever it takes to help Harry find his daughter.
Join Laura and Harry in this small-town romantic mystery as they work together to unravel this high-stakes case, while facing their past and finding love in the most unexpected ways.

Sage Parker is one of my favorite authors. Happy reading
I love Sage Parkers books. They always give you the suspense with the romance. I just wish she would put all of it as one boom and not multiple books. This series is so good you won't want to put it down. Laura has returned home to help her mom, who has broken her leg. After arriving she learns about a missing girl, who's disappearance is similar to het friends disappearance 20 years ago. This story covers the finding of Trin, the reconnection with Harry, Trin's father and Laura best friend, but also uncovering a criminal cartel. This story will keep you wanting more and wanting the answers to what is going on. So sit back and enjoy these well written and great reads
Trin, Harry, and Laura all loved each other from the start. Harry loved her since High school, but never let her know. For Laura, her ex abused her emotionally to the point she was hardly herself. Her mother had been lied to making Laura look like the one that destroyed her up-coming marriage when in reality it was her ex cheating on her even before marriage. Since getting back home in Outer Banks, the truth came out and shexwas able to start putting her life together again, when she is given the assignment to cover the missing girl that happens to be Harry's daughter. Through all the turmoil, Harry and Laura draw closer together and finally become a couple. This has been a definite awesome book I could hardly put down.
This is an interesting & sometimes intriguing series of stories. I am glad though that I had the whole series to read at once as there is a bit of a cliff hanger at the end of each book. Certainly makes you want to keep reading to see what’s next. There’s a good plot to each book as well as the underlying, ongoing major story line. A bit mushy in spots but that makes the whole series a bit “sweet”. Recommend this series for a medium reading experience.
Just finished Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane. This was such an amazing series. It kept you reading to see what would happen next. The past tying with the present brought the story together. Laura and Harry, working together, added to the story. Old friends reunite to solve the disappearance of an old friend and present children. This was an awesome series that was very hard to put down. Sage Parker is a remarkable, talented, and creative author. I love her books.
I like that Laura never gave up hoping to find out what happened to her childhood friend. When she returned to home town to look after her sick mom, she found out her friend Harry's daughter was missing. With the help of friends, she not only found Harry's daughter and her childhood friend. She also found love again with Harry.
Proofreading would have helped, lots of misspelled words, wrong words used when similar spelling but different meanings, some repeated paragraphs,at least two in the series. I felt like I missed something a couple of times, like key pieces were left out. Other than editing problems, the story was good. I'm not sure all the mysteries were resolved at the end.
liiiike 2.75⭐️- I read 3/6 of this series. It seemed like a good mystery but it was solved way too quick🤣 overall an easy read and decent for my beach vacation week but unfortunately I didn’t make it to the 2nd half of the series where I’m assuming Laura and Harry get together? Idk, maybe I’ll finish the series one day
The general story was pretty good, maybe a few too many sun plots but over all pretty good. The English lingo was a little weird like saying “the car park”, “on holiday”, etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed all 6 books in this series. Well written, easy to read with lows and highs all the way through. I was hooked from the first chapter.
