There was nothing earth shattering that really would simplify my life. One idea per page was really not worth the money, and some ideas, I just had a hard time with...like reading in bed....I LOVE reading in bed before I sleep. Also not getting rid of the boat.....

Very easy to read book. Most of the advice is common sense. Parts of the book is subjective. I would never follow some of the advice given in the book. I even wonder why she thinks the way she does for some ideas presented. It is easy to come up with an argument of why not to do something for some of the reminders. I definitely would not recommend this book. It would be a waste of money for anyone to consider buying the book (I was lucky enough to be able to borrow it). For me, I was seeking more than this book provided. More detail and reminders in which are life changing or provide me with something I did not think about. It was not a bad book. It just was not for me.

BOTTOM LINE: Cute little book of reminder quotes from a well-known author/lecturer that seems to be a bit behind the times IMO. (btw, I *hate* "cute!"...)

On initial presentation, this thick little book appears to be a nice, easy way of giving yourself a quick'n'easy lifestyle reminder each and every day - 365 Reminders, right? But it's not one of those "quote-a-day" with a calendar date next to each quote, as I thought it would be - it's just page after page of one-line each, lots of white space in between, and seemingly little organization behind it/them. Occasionally a couple of the quotes seem to follow a pattern or idea along for a few entries, but that's the extent of organization or thoughtfulness that seems to have gone into this little money-spinner of a "gift book". Don't waste your money.

All the same - and often better, and much better collected, formated, and organized - information and/or enthusiastic help towards becoming more organized and living a simpler life, can be found on many, many websites these days, most of them free. The ones I've found that work best for me, are

flylady.com (home-centric mainly, but offers lots of other helps as well) and

43folders.com (creative and work-place aids)

- each has *tons* of wonderful resources AND they'll send reminders to you each and every day IF you want them to. True bargains and very helpful places with lots of like-minded folks to connect with IF you want to do so.
