Another great story in the X Club Series!
This is the story of Felix, a Russian mob leader with a very big secret. By day, Felix is the head of his family, tough, strong and dominating. But behind closed doors, Felix is a very different man. When his secret gets out, Felix knows that someone is his family has betrayed him, and has caused him great humiliation (and not the kind he likes).
Maksim and Felix have known each other for years, and as his guard, Maksim is incredibly protective of Felix. But Maksim’s feelings aren’t just professional, and he’s always hidden them because Felix is straight. And definitely not kinky. Until that knowledge is proved wrong and these men’s lives are flipped upside down.
I love how RA Frick’s books have such a variety of characters, and how they show that there is no stereotypical NB or gender fluid person. These characters just are who they are, and it’s wonderful!
*Felix makes an appearance in For Keeps, and these stories are closely tied, which means more Mixtress Ash!!!

I absolutely loved the overall setting and tone of this story. This is a new to me author and I cannot wait to come back and read the rest of the books in this series.
R.A. Frick does a fantastic job at describing queer confusion and the fears with coming out while also showing the sides of acceptance and love that you can find in your true friends/family.
Although I like soft and gushy stories, I prefer the stories like these that get into nitty gritty and then give the happy ending — this story did just that.
10/10 Recommend as a starter for getting into this sub-genre of romance to see if you like it.

My first book by the author, and I really enjoyed the writing style. I love a good mafia romance.
The storyline and pacing made me read this one quickly. Easy to read, but not boring at all.
I really wish there was more kink scenes, but that might just be me… the ones who were written was sizzling hot though.

This is the first book I've read by R.A. Frick but it won't be my last. After reading this one I definitely need to go back and read the rest of Club X. I love Mafia books and this was a different type of storyline and wonderful characters.

Felix gets his HEA. After being publicly out and running for his life, Felix's secret kinks are exposed to his Mafia family and to his gruff bodyguard, Maksim. Maksim is shocked to realize that not only does Felix like men but his kinks line up perfectly with his own.
This novella is steamy, kinky and all kinds of fun. It takes place parallel to book 1 and can be read I'm any order. I am super eager to get to the rest of the books in this series.

Another enticing addition to R.A.’s X Club series, with a little mafia twist! R.A. continues with their intense variety of characters, diving further into non-binary and gender fluidity. The knowledge shown through the pages are exceptionally well and the hate was handled caution and professionalism. Didn’t really except anything less from such an inclusive author!

Oh Felix! I loved their character in For Keeps, loved them even my with this one! And Maksim! What a gentle giant! Their chemistry was intensely bizarre with an insane connection, I mean they did grow up together so that’s a huge positive. But, how he was with Felix, succumbing to his wishes and desires was another incredible!

August 29, 2022I feel like this should be book 1.5 versus 0.5 because had I not already read Ash's book and seen this whole video leak thing happen I would have felt cheated. This book is not long enough or in depth enough to have such a complicated plot and I highly recommend reading book one before you read this one.
That being said, I am glad that we get to see Felix get their happily ever after. I really loved their bodyguard and exploration of gender and femininity and masculinity. I do wish there had been a little bit more time spent on Felix confronting some of their internalized homophobia and toxic masculinity. It's just I don't think that these two characters were suited to a novella. They needed a full length book because they had a lot of shit going on and I liked it well enough but it would have been great as a full-length book.

Sexy an wonderful!
This is the last book in this series. I am sad that there are no more. This book is about a mafia boss and his friend who is his head of security. The events that led them to finally tell each other the truth are epic. Wonderful short read.
