Shame (contains spoilers)

Unfortunately the book was very repetitive and all over the place. Too many topics which didn’t really link well together. For instance, a defense attorney playing detective but never actually doing any defending.
The book is supposed to be a romance but there was very little romance. Basically they fell in love without knowing each other, it was over after 3 days and the heroine was prepared to leave the country with someone else because the love of her life didn’t message her?

Engrossing! Unbreakable is my first Quinn Slater book. Definitely won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed Jake and Stephanie's story. So many twists and turns that kept me turning the page. I kept thinking I knew the "whodunit" and Surprise! Plot twist. This story was suspenseful but had some delicious steamy scenes as well. Stephanie and Jake are both powerful, potent, and explosive characters who can absolutely hold their own. Spectacular storyline. This book was a real treat. Well deserving of your reading time.

This is the first Quinn Slater book that I have read and I loved it!!!! The first line had me completely engaged and the storyline continued to get more and twisted. I went from thinking one thing, to realizing I was wrong, only to find out I knew nothing at all. There was a dark story with comedic relief and of course a lil bit of the smut we all know and love. I can honestly say I’m looking forward to reading more Quinn Slater books❤️
