Find your hustle without losing your soul. Comedic superstar and internet entrepreneur Kountry Wayne made it to the top with a little bit of faith, a lot of perseverance, and a fearless commitment to his own success. Now he’s here to help you do the same.

Kountry Wayne is on a mission help you get to that next level. Success is possible no matter where you start from. Coming up as a poor Black man in a small-minded Georgia town, Wayne found few legit options to achieve his dreams. Once he took a leap of faith and began posting short sketches based on his on-the-nose Southern Black truths, wildly funny observations, and inspirational guidance, he became an almost overnight hit.

Now he hopes to help others see that no matter where you started from or how stuck you feel right now, the possibilities for living a rich, full life are limitless. Help is on the way, with his unflinchingly honest, often outrageous, but always hopeful and hard-won

Kountry Wayne is both one of my favorite comedians and one of my favorite people on this earth. As a therapist who works with children and youth I love that there exists a comedian like Wayne who doesn't curse, keeps it real, promotes healing in the Black community and represents a powerful example of being a community-minded man and action-oriented, involved father to his ten kids (yes, ten!).

Kountry Wayne is funny and honest and talks very openly about his former life being a hustler. At the same time, he is a nuanced personality who has been sober his entire life. He has been drug and alcohol free his entire life, he's vegan, and he's funny as hell!

I'm about half way into this memoir and am enjoying every page as I learn about Kountry Wayne's journey into stardom. The cherry on top is that the forward is written by Cedric the Entertainer who is another one of my favorite comedians to ever exist. I love that Cedric is giving Kountry Wayne his flowers and I'm excited to see what's next for Wayne!

Thank you to the author and publisher for the e-arc copy!

I love to read autobiographies! Learning the background of celebrities and what inspires them is awesome! Wayne is very inspiring and just knowing his background and how he really got it out the mud and giving God his glory was everything!

I heard about the comedy of Kountry Wayne and since I enjoy listening to autobiographies read by the author, I thought I’d give this a listen. The book is a bit of a mix for me. The telling of his life growing up in a difficult situation, losing his mother and living with parents on drugs…is detailed and tells of his struggles. For that, the book reads like he’s sitting across from you telling his story with advice. That is a higher rating.

He has a strong religious vein running through his life giving more and more appreciation for God. He had 7 children by various mothers by age 21. Also whenever he needed a guaranteed income stream he usually hustled drugs on the side. So the books is well written but I struggled with his story of giving praise to God but selling drugs to kids on the side. This is not a comedy book. There is rarely anything funny about it. It does show his rags to riches story and where he is today.

Kountry Wayne !!! This guy !! He’s so hilarious. I enjoyed his memoir. I also enjoyed how he gives credit for everything in his life to God. It’s always good to see why people are the way they are. I did the audio of his book and his accent made it that much better lol

I listened to the audiobook and Bay-Bay! Kountry Wayne is COUNTRY!! It was like listening to my cousin tell a story. (If you have an issue with accents, I'd suggest picking up the actual book. His accent is THIIIIIICK!) His story is funny and relatable. What a ride!

Mehhh it’s alright. Laughed not quite as much as I had expected (the gentleman is a comedian). I enjoyed his 10 min GQ interview more than this book. If I were to compare: Kevin Hart’s memoir is top tier
