International bestseller Ava Miles shares another funny and heartwarming story in The Unexpected Prince Charming series about the power of family, seeking new inspiration, and taking a chance on love.
What happens when you combine second chances, high stakes, and happily ever after? Ireland, that’s what.
World famous glass artist Sophie Giombetti is headed to Ireland to grab a new lease on life.
She’s put her divorce behind her and wants a supportive community to raise her daughter. The quaint town of Caisleán, where she’s agreed to design a major installation, more than fits the bill. Best of all, she’s sure the verdant Irish hills will give her new inspiration. She wants to make her glass breathe and move like Irish rainbows.
She expects Ireland’s magic to envelop her, everything from the foot-tapping music to the boisterous pub life and the humor of its welcoming people.
She doesn’t expect to find the most unexpected of Prince Charmings or to be helped by a beautiful matchmaking ghost who’s downright cheeky and irreverent.
Millions of readers have discovered International Bestselling Author Ava Miles and her powerful fiction and non-fiction books about love, happiness, and transformation. Her novels have received praise and accolades from USA Today, Publisher’s Weekly, and People Magazine in addition to being chosen as Best Books of the Year and Top Editor’s picks. Translated into multiple languages, Ava’s strongest praise comes directly from her readers, who call her books and characters unforgettable.
Ava is a former chef, worked as a long-time conflict expert rebuilding warzones to foster peaceful and prosperous communities, and has helped people live their best life as a life coach, energy healer, and self-help expert. She is never happier than when she’s formulating skin care and wellness products, gardening, or creating a new work of art. Hanging with her friends and loved ones is pretty great too.
After years of residing in the States, she decided to follow her dream of living in Europe. She recently finished a magical stint in Ireland where she was inspired to write her acclaimed Unexpected Prince Charming series. Now, she’s splitting her time between Paris and Provence, learning to speak French, immersing herself in cooking à la provençal, and planning more page-turning novels for readers to binge.
Book 6 in the series, is the story of Jamie, the local schoolteacher, and Sophie, a glass-blowing artist. More opposition to the arts center arises. I gave it 3 stars because of so much conflict. "World famous glass artist Sophie Giombetti is headed to Ireland to grab a new lease on life. She’s put her divorce behind her and wants a supportive community to raise her daughter. The quaint town of Caisleán, where she’s agreed to design a major installation at the local arts center, more than fits the bill. Best of all, she’s sure the verdant Irish hills will give her new inspiration. She expects Ireland’s magic to envelop her, everything from the foot-tapping music to the boisterous pub life and the humor of its welcoming people. She doesn’t expect to find the most unexpected of Prince Charmings or to be helped by the beautiful matchmaking ghost named Sorcha. She certainly couldn't have imagined finding love with the local schoolteacher, Jamie Fitzgerald, who has to be one of the nicest guys on the planet. But when her new artwork causes a surprising controversy, she and Jamie find themselves in the middle of a heated debate that threatens them and the art center once again. The community must rally together, with the stakes never being higher. But soon, the controversy threatens to push the new couple apart, and even Sorcha must bring out all the stops to make sure they have their happily ever after." synopsis copied
The sixth book in the series: Sophie, a famous glass-artist, and the newest addition to the Caislean art community arrives from France in the midst of the fight between Malcolm Coveney and Bets, the owner of the Sorcha Fitzgerald Center for the Arts. Coveney is willing and able to pull lots of sneaky and troubling acts as way to cause problems at the art center and at home. Sophie's "unexpected prince charming" is Jamie Fitzgerald, ghostly Sorcha's brother-in-law. I found all of the machinations - both the art center's and Coveney's, to be interesting (and, if it was me, very upsetting). I found the relationship between Sophie and Jamie a little "eh." Jamie just decided, "well, Sophie's mine and he acted very territorial from the moment Sophie got off the plane. Sophie's reactions were all very realistic although she did seemingly fall for Jamie pretty quickly. I really enjoy the follow through with the other characters from the other books in the series. Each book adds a layer, but is dependent upon the book prior.
Jamie is such a quiet and dedicated man: for his students, friends and family. Sophia, A talented artist and single mom, suffered in her childhood as the child of two controversial artists. She protects her daughter at all costs.
When she accepts the position in Ireland , bringing her daughter and companion/caretaker along, neither are prepared for the love they will discover. They also meet up with hate and misfortune. Helping to convince the townspeople of their actions being based upon love, goes a lockdown by way. Witch's continues to help her soulmates find their way in this quagmire called life. I can't wait for the final story, Liam's, in this series!
This series just keeps getting better and better. It's hard to pick a favorite of the books so far, but this one for me has an edge to being number 1 in this series. I love that Sophia and Jamie knew they were each other's soulmates before they even met. And Sophia's sweet little daughter just adds more charm and sweetness to this book. I love how when things go south for Sophia and Jamie, that the whole town once again rallies around them and makes you cheer them on to find no matter what life throws at these two, when both of their reputations are put on the line, they can overcome anything with love, family and friends to find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow of their Happy Ever After. This is a 5 Star read and I can't wait for book #7 and the next Unexpected Prince Charming finds his soulmate.
Every book, every series… Ava Miles has the gift of magic as she weaves her stories of family and community into every book she writes. I have no words as big as the feelings her stories evoke. The Prince Charming series is the latest in a long line of characters who become friends and who’s lives you will find yourself invested in as you root for the good guys and for Karma to finally put the mean and miserable in their place. Some folks binge watch tv series, I binge read Ava Miles 💖
I like the characters and I enjoy the family and friends as well. The positive things happening with the main story arc are great but I am getting so exhausted with the continuation of the villains’ constant sabotage. It’s incredibly frustrating that they haven’t vanquished them yet. Honestly it’s too much like real life to have such negative things keep happening, and I read for escape, especially these days!!!
Ava is just the best. She creates incredible characters that we care about and we get to enjoy them in a series and see them develop. And love may be the biggest character in the stories but not in a corny saccharine way. As in love conquers all. And Ireland is another character in these books. You can see the stars and smell the air. I can’t wait for the next one!
Another great entertaining story about Sorcha, the ghost helping the town and school overcome the nasty gossip that their detractors were spreading. Jamie finally finds his soul mate with Sophie, even though they were plagued with gossip and nasty rumours, they were able to find their happily ever.
I have enjoyed this series so far, can’t wait for the next one! Ava brings her characters and their surroundings to life in such a way that draws you in and causes you to invest in them and cheer for them. Once you start, you will want to keep going, grab a comfy chair and a drink of choice and enjoy!
This series has been a lot of fun, but this one just caught my heart. Two gentle souls and a beautiful child learning to love and stand up for themselves is so heart warming. I loath bullying in any form, and the way this solution came to being had me in tears of happiness. Well done !!
I love this series, it combines romance, friendships and mystery. Each story makes me feel like part of this town and the people are charming. I’m so looking towards the next book (sad it will be the last). Ava Miles is one of my favorite authors!
Return to Ireland again as Sorcha helps Jamie and Sophie navigate the challenges facing their true love! Another wonderful story from Ava with our well loved characters and some new ones as well. Can’t wait for the next one!
Another page turner by Ava Miles! You will fall in love with romance and drama in Caislean Ireland! The Sorcha Fitzgerald Art Center has a new Artist finds true love with her handsome soul mate! I'd give it ten Stars!
This one was a little slow at first but once it took off I couldn’t stop reading. Another wonderful story Ava. Can’t wait for Liam’s story I will be sad though because it’s the last one in the series.
This book like all in this series has been a wonderful read where there is love to fight for and evil to triumph over. This author does a wonderful job with showing when a community bands together to support their own under attack it can triumph.
This story was a rollercoaster. But I am glad things are turning around. Karma needs to come around for Mary Kinkaid, Orla and Malcolm. Onto the next story about Liam and Taylor! :)
Her writing is just a great escape! Her characters are easy to fall in love with and get you rooting for them. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
