This coming of age novel is set in the 25th century. It is a story of a young orphaned girl who is selected to attend the Destiny Naval Academy on the planet Destiny. It follows her exploits as a naval midshipwoman as she matures from a small town county girl into a naval hero. Explore her three midshipman-cruises as she learns about life in the space-navy of the 25th century. On her three midshipman-cruises she is thrust into heroic leadership roles that test her abilities as a potential naval officer.

I am am big reader and one of my favorite types of fiction includes space warfare and military books. I have now added Chuck Neighbors to my list of favorite science fiction authors that include B.V. Larson and Christopher G. Nuttall and Bob Blanton.
Chuck’s new book, “Destiny” is incredible, I couldn’t put it down. If you love good books with a great central hero, you need to read “Destiny”.
