I didn't expect to like this textbook. "Psychopharmacology" sounded dry, yet the authors made this field fascinating. (Who knew Lithium was discovered due to its calming effect on animals?) I found the material very helpful and applicable to my work as a therapist.

This textbook was written very well - I’ve noticed that about a lot of psychology textbooks (or maybe I just love the material). I found it interesting reading about the different medications and common treatments compatible with different disorders as a great guide.

A great reference for medication management. Offers insight into proper treatment with and without medication for varying disorders. I will refer to this often in my treatment planning and assessment!
