A lone figure of unimaginable size, with silver-white hair glistening in the sun, makes its way across Etera’s verdant hills and valleys—to what destination? And why? It falls to the Guardian, Pan, to determine if this stranger comes as friend or foe, but to do so she must face a part of her past she put far behind her.
Oh’Dar. The lost grandson of Grayson Stone Morgan the First and heir to the Morgan fortune. Rescued from certain death by the People’s Healer, Adia, and raised among the People of the High Rocks as one of their own. Life-walker to Chief Is’Taqa’s first daughter. He is about to face his biggest challenge yet.
What If…
When the Waschini persecution of the Brothers escalates, Oh’Dar is faced with an impossible dilemma. How to save those he loves without also betraying those who have placed their trust in him to keep their existence a secret? Time is running out and only he can decide where his highest loyalty lies—when he stands at the Crossroads.
Crossroads is the final book in Series One of The Etera Chronicles. But the story continues with Series Two and Series Three. The first book in Series Two is The Age of Darkness. Then after you have ready Series Two - get ready for Series Three. The first book in Series Three is Reunion.
When Leigh Roberts is not caught up in the fantasy world of Etera with Adia, Khon'tor, Acaraho, Oh'Dar, and Nadiwani, she is enjoying the beauty of the rural area in which she lives.
An avid reader since early childhood, she grew up on superhero comics, science fiction stories, and television shows like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and Star Trek.
Star Trek had a huge influence on her thinking and taught her the infinite possibilities of imagination--and how to split infinitives. Spoiler alert: you may find a Klingon word or phrase dropped in here or there.
She loves being an author, and her heart's desire is to be writing for a long, long time to come.
There are no real startling revelations in this book, but it does do a wonderful job of building the scenario for the series three storyline. Can't help but feel sorry for Oh Dar . all he wants is to settle down with his family and enjoy his good fortune, but his responsibilities keep him constantly moving. I really recommend reading the whole series from beginning to end. You will not regret it!
Leigh, you are a magician in telling a story and being able to highlight each character's personality with their companionship with family and their positive interactions and even their negative thoughts which make us human. I cannot wait to hear and read their fate but know as they believe the "Great Spirit" will guide them in their future
Loved every bit of this final book in series one. Many of the storylines were completed at a satisfactory level. I look forward to having a reunion with these characters in series three.
You won't be disappointed in any of the characters of these stories. I love this series and have waited for each book to come out. Can't wait for the next.
I started reading when. I went to bed . I did not sleep I was so involved . I finished it and I in my exhaustion want to go there to help the brothers . That will keep me awake I’m sure . Great story . Thank you for being such a great author . Your devout fan . Bob the Cop
Absolutely loved this series. I was selfish by not writing reviews after each book, but I couldn't take the time cause I just couldn't wait to start the next. This series was fantastic, mythical, and kept me on edge thru every book. Please believe me when I say that you really need to read these books, and you won't be able to stop...
This has been a wonderful journey. I am so pleased with the perspective of this story. Just when I think there's no new angle to view the world through someone shows me there's one. Thank you for this amazing story.
An ahhhmazing series. I love all the characters in this series. Aida for being the ground breaker, of course Oh'Dar for the love ,strength wisdom and conviction. The series shows how kindness and love is the way and resonates with our current and past history.
From the first book on, I was captivated. It has been a long time since I have read an entire series. Every character in this story is amazing and reminds me of how grateful we should be for this wonderful world we live in.
For an extremely provocative story. Anyone who likes to read fiction well enjoy this book through every installment. I almost wish the story would go on.
