Aidan is a recovering alcoholic suffering from PTSD after serving in the military. Rowan owns an antique store and dabbles in... other things, of which he is working on. They meet in a bar. That seems odd because Aiden is in recovery but you will soon find out the reason for this.
Oh lawd! First off, Rowan is flipping perfect. I love him. He is everything Aiden never knew he needed. He is dealing with his own stuff at the moment but the way he makes Aiden his priority so early on was just breathtaking, awe inspiring, all the adjectives that are synonymous with those words! Yeah, all those things. But the heart knows what the heart wants. Sometime it just takes a minute for the brain to catch up. I loved this book from the first page and the way J.M. Walker writes MM is also all those adjectives I mentioned above! This story gave me constant goosebumps.
Tempt Us is book 11 in the series. The final book in the series. I'm going to miss these kids. I'm going to miss looking forward to the next book in the series. But I know its time to move on. I feel like this series will be one I take with me and recommend to everyone forever. There's something for every romance reader within the pages of these 11 books. You may even notice a familiar name mentioned A LOT in book 5. I would just like to point out that I have nothing to do with my evil namesake and her craziness. I wanted that villain to be tortured buuuut I digress. Lol...
Thank you J.M. for keeping me on the edge of my seat for that past few years with these kids. I can't wait to see what your fabulous mind creates next.

Tempt Us is Aiden's story. Throughout the series, Aiden's life has been full of difficulties. As a reader we have not been privy to his inner struggles. We have been viewing his life through others' eyes. Aiden and Rowan are fated to be together.
No matter the struggles going on in their lives these two understand each other. They can give each other what is needed. Tempt Us is a true modern romance with what many would consider a nontraditional couple. I finally understand Aiden. I know who he is and it took meeting Rowan to bring it out.
J.M. Walker knows how to make the reader ride the emotions of the characters right through the end. Tempt Us is the final ride. It is intense and emotional but fitting. I love the world created and hate that it is ending. Read the series to get a true grasp of who Aiden is as it has been building to this finale.

I don't even know where to start with Tempt Us....... I have been waiting (im)patiently for Aiden's story and J.M Walker DID NOT disappoint. It was quite bittersweet reading an end of an era, but I am almost certain ( hoping actually) that this isn't the last time we see this cast of characters!!
Aiden has demons that he hasn't been able to tackle until he meets a tall dark stranger in a bar. Rowan came into Aiden's life when he least expected and the emotions that he's feeling overwhelm him in the best possible way!!
Rowan has his own demons but helping Aiden conquer his helps guide Rowan to conquer his own as well and together they will slay the beasts that threaten to overtake them both.
I LOVED this story and seeing past characters warmed my heart to no end!!

I am sad to say goodbye to this series. I've been reading about these characters and their parents for the last several years. JM is an automatic one-click author for me.
Aidan's book did not have as much action & drama as the other books in the series, but is still one of my favorites. MM is one of my favorite genres.
Rowan has a stalker from his past causing problems. Aidan is trying to stay sober after years of being drunk all the time.

Wholly hell your a out to have emotion over load on this one. So make sure you have tissues ready. But hard to believe this is book 11 of the next gen series and well worth the wait for adien and his man Rowan.
This one does have some hard things to cover in the book but once you get going your not going to be able to put it down. There's so much I want to say but can't put into words for a proper review of this one.
But you must read this one and see how this is both happen and where they progress in this one but I do know they both are worth the read

I have been waiting for Aiden’s story and couldn’t dive into this one fast enough. I wasn’t prepared for the rush of emotions that came as I started getting further in. I should know better with this author. This story is one her best to date and left me gutted so to speak. I cried and smiled and may have even chuckled at one point. It has everything. It will likely make you curse and take a breath. It’s phenomenal and needs to be clicked immediately.

I've been looking forward to reading Aidens story for a while, he's returned from the Army but isn't the same person, using drink as an escape is causing problems.
Rowan doesn't know what draws him to the man at the bar but the need to know him is strong.
The one regret Aiden has is not getting Rowan number, but fate is on his side when he applies to flat share and Rowan is the owner.
Brilliant story that really did show the feeling and fight Aiden was facing.

Five huge stars that has had me in tears from the first page and in truth, didn't let up. But as I write this review, my heart is extremely full, as the tears still cascade down my face.
Not only is this the last in this series but its Aiden's story and man was it a hard one to read. The emotions pouring off every page has left a lump in my throat, this author has hit it out the park.
Please, just go read this now!

Aiden and Rowan.... this is my favourite book of the series. The best was certainly saved til last.
These guys were made for each other, and the story of their blooming relationship was perfect. It dealt with difficult topics in a compelling way.
Oh, and they were hot together. Really, really hot.

Rowan and Aiden were a treasure I didn’t know I needed until I started it. As the conclusion on the next generation it ties everything up nicely. You will see old friends, which always makes me happy. Aiden is lost and needs a person and a home….he finds both in Rowan and a whole lot more. Rowan has secrets and he finds peace in Aiden. I absolutely loved these two.

It makes me sad that this is the last book in an 11 book series.
That being said I’ve been waiting for Aiden’s story. His story isn’t an easy one but I was so happy to see him get an HEA. Rowan and Aiden were perfect together and this book had me hooked from the first page to the last. I loved all of the books in this series but this was my favorite.

Grab your Kleenex, you're going to need them. Tempt Us is Aiden and Rowans story and it's an intense, emotional, difficult read. It's the final book in the Next Generation series and it definitely packs the punch this author intended.

Tempt Us (Next Generation #11) is the final book in this addictive series.😔. It's really hard to say goodbye to all the characters, especially the parents, as they have been around for years. Like every other book by J.M. Walker is a page-turner novel that meets all the requirements of a good romance read. The writing style is compelling and sets a tone that leaves an imprint on you. This one is an MM story about Aiden Donovan and Rowan Crane. The author gives a nice surprise about Rowan. These two characters are amazing, and their story is heart-wrenching and beautiful.

WOW! Aiden and Rowan’s story was everything I could have hoped for and more! It was packed full of emotional turmoil, drama, angst, heartache, passion and love. I laughed, I cried and I fell hopelessly in love with these two wonderful characters who were made for each other.
This was a hard story to put down once I started reading. I never wanted to let Aiden and Rowan go.
Beautifully and poignantly written with some heavy subject matter that will bring tears to your eyes, but with a wonderful and heartwarming ending.
