'Fae Destiny' is Vera Rivers' third book in her "Fate of the Fae" series and there's a lot going on in this one! If you've been following the series, then you know Ellie has a prophecy hanging over her head. The only problem is they only know the half of it which leaves a lot to interpretation and most of that is thinking the worst. And then, to top things off, Terra lets Nylah know that Ellie must find her mother in order for Jasfin to win the war against Paglia. Well, that's a dilemma in itself since Ellie didn't realize until then her mother was even alive much less where to begin looking for her. I will admit, I was a bit bummed out when most of the story was once again about Ellie and we didn't hear much from Ren. Still, as the story started to unfold and the anticipation and trepidation began to build, my disappointment eased tremendously. If this is a genre you usually read then, by all means, grab onto this one because you won't be disappointed. I'm anticipating 'Ruthless Fae King' next.

It was ok..

This series was seriously lacking depth..When I read a story I want it to take me out of my world and into theirs..I want to be in a whirlwind of emotions..I want to feel every second of the story.. You can't just say something to make it so, I want believe it and I want to feel it.. You can't just say someone has an unshakable bond, tell me why don't give me a few conversations and a couple of scenes of pound town and expect me to think that's it!🤷🏻‍♀️ While it wasn't a bad read and I don't regret reading this series I can't say I would reread it..I honestly didn't like Ellie and I just couldn't connect with her character..and she had so much promise in the first book, she was strong even as a human slave/servant and she was learning to fight and how to use her magic and then in the second and third book she becomes someone of importance and she becomes weak and winy and has so much power she doesn't even know what to do with..ugh it was just annoying! Idk everything just annoyed me about the second and third book...

I don’t usually enjoy the next to last book in a series this much. Typically it’s setting up for the last book, but there was so much going on here, and while the whole series has been wonderful, and has captured my heart, this one is my favorite in the series so far. I can’t wait to get the next one!

5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.

4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

If you enjoy stories of the fae and romance this series is a must read.  The FAE Destiny is the third  installment in the Fate of the Fae series by Vera River. So full of  danger, intrigue and heartbreaking emotions. The characters and plot are captivating and drew me in from the beginning to the end, leaving me wanting more. The steamy scenes are well placed and not just for thrills. Warning: this does ends in a cliffhanger.

Ellie is sure her mother is the key in destroying King Falx and his dark magic. Discovering her mother is in Palgia and maybe too much  confidence in her magic, Ellie crosses the border. It's not long before she's captured. King Falx and his Dark Sorceress soon impregnated Ellie with their dark magic to fully control her, in the process Falx severs her mate bond with Ren. What happens next is emotionally heart breaking and could destroy not only Ellie and Ren, but their world and all its people.

This series should in its order or you will be continually confused about what is happening.

4.75⭐️/5

It’s always bittersweet saying goodbye to a couple and their story especially after three books, but I’m happy Ren and Ellie can now live in peace with each other.

This book definitely started off with Ellie being stubborn and very “me me me” and definitely could have avoided quite a few things, but if she didn’t do what she didn’t they probably wouldn’t have won the war and she wouldn’t have found her family. I will say I am glad she did start to realise her mistakes and faults throughout the book and probably should have thought of a better plan, but even as messed up as her plan was she made them win the war.

The premise of how she was captured and had to deal with fighting the darkness whilst trying to make her way back to Ren and to stop a war was interesting, and I’m glad that in the end it was a happy ending and that everyone got what they deserved.

I’d 10/10 recommend this series to those who want a fantasy story that’s fast paced, each book has there own subplot that makes up a big plot throughout the first three books. There is spice in this series but only a few pages out of the whole book. I’m excited to see what Erol’s book is going to be like (book 4)!

*May have spoilers if you have not read previous books**

This is the 3rd book in the "Fate of The Fae" series. And I enjoy this series. It is a little predictable at times but I still enjoy it enough to continue the series..

Ellie and Ren are married and now ruling side by side. When Nylah gets a vision from The Goddess Terra that Ellie needs to find her mother to help stop the war that is coming. She tries to tell Ren what she needs to do but he has so much on his mind with the war coming from Palgia that he pretty much dismisses her and tells her that she is not allowed to safe her mother who she found out is somewhere in enemy territory. So when Ren is at another Kingdom visiting, she decides to sneak out and go to Palgia to get her mother before the war breaks out. Will she find her mother? What will happen to Ellie? And her kingdom?

I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars. I do have to say that the grammar issues were much better this time around. There were not as many that I noticed.

Light vs darkness

When the visions indicate to Ellie she must find her mother to stand a chance to win against Conjurite magic, she breaks her promise and leaves to Palgia - to the heart of the darkness. Captured and imprisoned, she suffers under the evil rule of king Falx, yet her heart stays true. And when the opportunity to escape arises, she leaves with the two women who became part of her world, to reunite with her friends and mate and offer the greatest sacrifice to save her kingdom.
A tale of love and heartbreak, of suffering and hope, and the strength that lies in love and unity. Ellie is a great FMC, strong and with pure heart, and her bravery is to be admired. There are characters that are very interesting due to their inner conflicts and moral grey zone, and the glimpses into Falx's past add complexity to the story. Overall a nice read.

This is the 3rd book in the series, they should be read in order to better understand the story.

Even though everyone seems to accept Ellie as queen, she still doesn't know what she is or where she comes from.
She needs to find her mother to get some answers and hopefully to help with the coming war.
Ellie goes off on her own to find some answers but ends up kidnapped by the enemy, but this leads her to family she didn't know about.

Will Ellie and Ren finally find their happy ending or will evil win.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading it.

This series will take your heart from your chest blend it up and force feed you it. I love this series and so glad that I started it in the first place. This book is both heartbreaking and happy. There were moments that truly made you feel for the characters and you think how can life go on after this. The main couple keep going through so much and sacrifice so much to be together while also trying to save their world. I am looking forward to continuing this series!.

When Ellie wants to go to Paglia to find her mom, Ren hesitates, telling Ellie that it's too dangerous. Of course, Ellie doesn't listen to Ren, and when he travels to Tholand to discuss an alliance, Ellie again takes off in the middle of the night. When she gets to Paglia, she is taken prisoner and placed in a cell with an elf woman and her daughter, who turn out to be Ellie's mom and half-sister. This story has plenty of action, romance, and steam, ending in a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended.

Wow! This is a wild rollercoaster ride of emotions. Have your tissues ready with Ren and Ellie’s trials and tribulations. Ren is preparing for war and Ellie has to make some good and bad decisions and face the consequences of them.
You need to read this series in order or you will be confused, what on Earth could there be left to happen to then, surely, they deserve some peace!

What an emotional rollercoaster ride the author is taking us on, so much is happening, so much action, danger and intrigue as Ellie searches for answers but will she like the answers she finds?

The story moves along at a good pace, and the author keeps surprising me with the twists and turns woven into the story. I keep hoping there will be a much-deserved happy ending for Ellie and Ren but with the way the author keeps surprising me I'm not at all sure.

I loved reading these stories and the first three follow Ellie and Ren's relationship. I would have liked to have read more from Ren's POV also. The first three books are mainly from Ellie's POV.

Book 4 is about Hazel and Erol and book 5 is about Nylah and Dex. These do follow on, so I recommend reading all five books.

You gotta love a HEA!

This is a great series. Ellie is still struggling to come to terms with being queen while ignoring where she comes from. So many trials and tribulations to contend with... Decisions have to be mae, some end up being good, others not so much. An epic series with wonderful character and world building. I am excited to see what is in store for Erol now.....

I really loved this series. It reads quite quickly and has enough going on to keep you entertained.

I did find this book a bit harder to get in to in comparison to part 1 and 2. But never the less, I loved it!.

Ellie and Ren are back and things of course are not all happy as Ellie searches for answers. Lots of danger, action, intrigue and so much more. Easy to get sucked into the story as I tried to guess what would happen next and what would be uncovered next. And see how it all fits together and how it would help out Ellie in the long run.

In order to fulfill the prophecy, and to save her people, she must be ready to sacrifice everything

Has a practitioner of darkness brought them all down, with his trickery and manipulations?

is there a way light can prevail, even if it costs her life?

intense epic drama and action.

This is definitely the best of the Ellie trilogy in this series. It still suffers from repetition but less so than the first two books. I was pretty hooked once Ellie was imprisoned which is a huge chunk of the book.
