** Knights&Mage INC. is apart of the King's Fall Universe/Realm but is a stand alone Romance. The series does not need to be read in publishing order. Xena, the strong headed, no guts no glory, Goliath knight vs. Odette, the by-the-books, no nonsense, sorceress butt heads at every turn. They can't exactly see eye to eye, and it's not because Xena towers over Odette even in heels. Yet, when push comes to shove, they have each other's backs... and a lot more. Bickering turns to passionate kisses, fighting over policies turns to heart to hearts at a local pub. It's not easy between business scandals, company theft, no training, and Odette's toxic ex. But it wouldn't be life at Knights&Mage INC if it wasn't a smidgen chaotic every few minutes.

I read this series out of order, but lucky for me, The Katto’s Waitress didn’t spoil this one too much! Xena was the buff, blunt, half rock giant mommy we all need and Odette was her hot headed workaholic half fae work rival. They usually skipped the banter and went straight for arguing, but that just means the hate sex was awesome. I enjoyed the resolution and homage paid to developing healthy boundaries. The side characters were great too. Dinah was an awesome dad and Rufus was the bestest hellhound puppy.

This book had pacing issues for me at the start but I'm really glad I continued. It is a great FF paranormal romance. I loved the tension that built between the ladies until they just couldn't resist each other. This book gave me Merry Gentry vibes meets Star wars almost with how well the characters and world where depicted.
My only complaint was I felt like they tried to fit in to many characters for a minute and I lost place keeping up.

Enemies to Lovers- but make it modern fantasy
I’m not a huge EtL fan but Odette and Xena really made me want to fight them, strangle them and then cuddle them. This is a quality story based in its own modern city, full of interesting characters!

September 10, 2022This book is fantastic!!! It is very well written and the story is easy to follow. I fell in love with all the characters except Clara. It was super easy to root for Xena and Odette to get together. Highly recommend!!!

This was such a refreshing book to read. I loved all the chemistry and romance between the two leads. The tropes were just spot on, with it being an office romance, as well as having an enemies to lovers plot line. I wasn't able to put this down and would 100% recommend!

At this point I'm pretty confident in saying Lizzie is my favourite cosy, monster romance author. She never fails to deliver that balance between cosy and comfy, spicy, and shenanigans
One of the first sapphic romances that I've actually finished. Odette and Xena are just so cute together, and the romance just ticked all the right boxes. A great enemies-to-lovers with top banter (even when it gets spicy), the way Xena look care of and supported Odette just made me melt, and the difference in spice sensitivity and accommodating for that was so refreshing. I also loved watching Odette grow and heal over the course of the story, it was almost cathartic.

This is the second book I have read by Lizzie I have fell in love with every book I have read with her, the spice, the kink, I love every bit of it along with the storyline

cozy office Romance
I absolutely adored this book… I had no idea that Office Romance could have such a cozy vibe to it.
This is a sapphic, office enemies to lovers, chasing/primal chasing.
I am obsessed. This is definitely a book that I need to put on the trophy shelf. The banter between Odette and Xena was phenomenal. I loved the monsters and magic in an urban setting and while the spicy scenes were spicy, I definitely appreciated the bits of comedic banter during and around those scenes because it’s not something that you often see and romance books but it’s definitely something I can relate to😆.

Dear reader I don't normally read sapphic, but I loved this book. (I'm not against sapphic by any means, I'm just not used to reading it.) I related to Odette as someone who has been fairly clueless about relationship red flags, and the way they themselves are viewed by others.
Odette and Xena are a well matched, very "opposites attract" pair. Odette is the shorter squishy caster (though taller than me lol) and Xena the "built like a sports model" knight. I very much enjoyed their interactions, and much of their banter reminded me of the characters Dorian and Iron Bull from the Dragon Age: Inquisition game. (Seriously, YouTube their banter if you haven't played - it's amazingly fun to listen to. I may edit this with a link or add one in)
I hope to read more of Odette's siblings, and Xena's father - and how their respective ventures fare. I did read a bit out of order, as Kattos Waitress technically happened after this book, but nothing was ruined for me by doing so as they were only peripheral characters in the other book…like a cameo type appearance.
If you enjoy office romance, shenanigans, hellhounds being treated like treasured companions, sapphic romance, or urban fantasy in general…then I strongly recommend this book.

This book got an update and I read the about 40% on my phone that had the original version and then downloaded on my kindle and it had the new version. I did like the changes that were made, but it still wasn't a great plot. Both FMCs behaved unbelievably childish and the friction between them felt forced and mostly consisted of abuse. All in all the writing was still clunky, but I enjoy this author's stories and I'm glad the loose ends got tied up because I thought I was going to have to give a lower rating than 2.5 rounded up.

Enemies to Lovers
Odette is a by the books sorceress and Xena is a rough and tumble knight fighting for the same position at their office. When both women get offered the job, they have to find a way to work together.
Such a sweet story and loved the enemies to lovers aspect. Again, another cliffhanger that leaves me craving more!

sweet cozy sapphic fantasy
The world building in this story alone is enough for a read. I love love love magic in modern times and this is perfectly done by Lizzie.
And the romance had me kicking my feet every other the chapter.
Oh and the spice. TOP TIER!
