Rate this book
Even the end of the Cold War could not bring stability to Central America. Cuba is falling into crisis and in the hills of Guatemala, a bungled op by the CIA is about to ignite a counter-insurgency war. In the midst of this, one man's life is at risk and American policy in the area is on the edge.

Surprisingly good. For a book grabbed at random from the library shelves I wasn't expecting much of a filler until my ordered books came in. But I thought it well written, good characterisations, and a compelling story. Not even my genre of choice.
