Xander has resolved to leave his troubles behind and start fresh. Fighting for what's right is one path, but another may be easier and safer. Perhaps with a place he can call his own Xander will find the peace he has never known. Even if his neighbours don't seem very quiet.

This is such a wonderful story. It's both heartwarming and a little heart wrenching at the same time.
Xander is a certified angsty boy, and I am here for it. I appreciate his character arc immensely, and that we get a chance to have more of his story, since we only get a little of it in the first book.
All of the characters in this book feel grounded and real while the story itself is both grounded and adventurous, a serious time and a good time.
I always enjoy reading the stories of this world, and I am greatly anticipating the third book's release (even though I may have already read an early version of that story, but shhhhhh).
