Keeping Love a Secret . . .

Shawn and Mallory had apparently been in love with each other for years but never said anything to the other person, guessing that what they feel must be one-sided. But a person should never “assume” that the other person can read their mind and automatically know how they feel. Communication is the key to keeping a relationship strong, but to starting one as well. Look at all the time these two wasted by not being honest with each other.

It isn’t until Mallory is ready to move on from her one-sided feelings for Shawn and date someone else that she finally gets a reaction out of him. Will one of them finally tell the other how they feel? Or will they walk away from the relationship they could have had but chose to waste?

I'm sorry. I hate to do this to indie authors. But this is so boring. This is just a novella but I still wanted to skip every paragraph speaks a lot. But if you want a quick read about brother's bestfriend, go for it.

Oopsie Daisies de Kendall Savage

Argumento:

¿O no?

4.5 stars. Shawn and Mallory, the lead characters, have been attracted to each other since they were teenagers but neither was willing to make a move and possibly ruin the intertwined relationships. Now Mallory has returned to town after college and she’s determined to get over him; he’s equally determined that she not…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and a cute, funny, sweet and steamy, small town romance. I particularly appreciated Shawn’s faithfulness to his crush, even in her absence and the lack of a relationship - something seriously lacking even in the romance genre. I enjoyed the banter and the cute awkwardness between them as well as the lovely sweet ending once they sorted themselves out.

'He was waiting for me. I was waiting for him. "We were waiting for each other"

I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance where both characters are so in love with each other but are too scared to tell each other how they feel. Mallory went to college far away to try fall out of love with her brother's best friend. Shawn has loved Mallory since he was a teenager but was too afraid that he would be rejected so he said nothing. Even though this a short novel the author did a fantastic job of blending the past with the present. Can Shawn & Mallory overcome their insecurities for a chance at a HEA?
I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was a great little book, I enjoyed it very much. Shawn and Mallory were a sweet couple, in love with each other for years. Neither knew the other was interested and both made assumptions about the other's feelings. In the end, it all came together, it had a sweet HEA.

The book was well written and edited. Of course I would have liked more detail, but I felt the author created great characters with great chemistry in the short span available in a novella. I hope to see future stories about other characters in the book.

A classic setup of miscommunication between the two main characters. Mallory and Shawn have both loved each other since high school but neither have shared their feelings, until their friends and family finally push them (almost in the literal sense) towards each other. They come together and waste no time making up for all those years of being stupid about not telling the other their feelings. It's a cute small town romance. And the ending hints of two more romances that might be budding for Mallory's best friends.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Mallory and Shawn. He is her older brother's best friend. She's crushed on him forever. Shawn has also crushed on Mallory for a while but it's afraid to lose the friendship of things head south. Great HEA in the works.

I actually said “oh my god I love this” out loud multiple times during this book. I WISH for more. This is a cute brother’s best friend romance that ends up with both of them pining over eachother for YEARS thinking the other doesn’t feel the same. If you need a quick, cute, safe read this is it!.

I was looking for something to read in one sitting because I was indecisive about what to read next and then I found this novella or short story (whatever) and I ended up loving it!
The hero and heroine have been pining for each other for years and he’s her brother’s best friend and that’s all I’m gonna say
That should be enough to make you wanna read this book at least it was for me but I’m easy like that.
