I give this a 2.5/5

This is a mess. It's definitely p*rn with little plot. The characters have no real redeeming qualities, which I partly think is due to the length. This novella is only around 130 pages. I finished it in less than an hour.

This is a short mafia romance. Mafia Princess Sophia is secretly in love with her bodyguard Ian. One night a rival gang breaks into her apartment to take her. They run, admit love and get down. Her dad is mad, he makes Ian a deal, yay happy ending. Quite a bit of violence and blood packed into this, but hey, mafia story, so yeah. Anyways, not the best novella I have read recently (That would be CM Alongi 's Blackwing series), but an okay way to kill an hour.

A great short story with lots of action, some romance and a HEA. I loved it! The Irish mob is out to kidnap Sofia to get to her father. When they break into her apartment all hell breaks loose and the endless fighting begins. Being her bodyguard Ian has to protect her and they go into hiding. When they finally give into their feelings, they realize they have to tell her father. What will he do?

This gives you a beginning, middle, and end in quick sucession. FMC Sofia is a mafia princess. While Ian is her personal bodyguard. You've got a plot with a side of spice. Could it have been longer? Absolutely, but it hits the major points that don't leave you lost. If you're looking for a quick short read, here you go!

This is a good but short mafia romance about a protector falling in love with the mafia princess. Who doesn’t love a man that would kill for you, I know I would for sure and so does Sofia. I’m a sucker for a good mafia book 🫶🏻

Dark, Addictive, and Utterly Unforgettable!
Sinful Protector by Ivy Davis had me hooked from the very first chapter. This book is the perfect blend of danger, passion, and emotional depth. The chemistry between the main characters is electric—every glance, every touch, every secret shared felt charged with tension and desire.
Ivy Davis does an amazing job crafting a story that’s both steamy and suspenseful. The protective, brooding hero is exactly the kind of flawed man you can’t help but fall for, and the heroine is strong, smart, and impossible not to root for. Their dynamic pulled me in completely, and the twists kept me turning pages late into the night.
If you love dark romance with high stakes, heart-pounding moments, and a love story that burns slow but fierce, Sinful Protector is a must-read. Ivy Davis never disappoints—this one will stick with me for a long time!

It starts off with Ian and Sofia being in danger.Sofia’s dad is a mobster and he is enemy’s with the Irish mob. The Irish mob was looking for revenge, they wanted to take Sofia but Ian her body guard protected her. Ian and Sofia eventually fall in love with each other to the point where Ian takes Sofia’s virginity!! Her father finds out and makes Ian suffer the consequences. He challenges him to fight for Sofia and he wins. They end up married.
