Another adorable offering from The Teen Witchs' Guide To... series.
This one talks first about magic itself and then gives a basic overview of different types: Candle, Moon, Elemental, Astrological, Crystal, Herbs, and so on. It shows how to create a charm with intent and has a few simple spells.
The author also stresses the Do No Harm rule, which is actually pretty standard practice, but is good for baby witches to know. So you won't find anything in here to make your math teacher give your a better grade, force your crush to be your love slave, or turn your frememy's hair green. But you will find lucky charms to carry on test day and spells to bring self-love into your life. As well as a whole bunch of other stuff.
p.s. As for your frememy's hair... Better to just not go there. Because Karma don't play that game.
