After spending one summer at Camp Pine Haven, three girls' lives will never be the same. This collection contains Pranked, Acting Out, and Friends ForNever.
Katy Grant grew up in Tennessee and decided at age eight she wanted to be a writer after reading a biography of Louisa May Alcott. (But for some strange reason she never got around to reading Little Women until she was an adult.) For many years she taught composition and creative writing courses at university and community colleges. She currently lives in Arizona with her husband Eric and enjoys spending time with her two adult sons.
I just finished reading the first book, Pranked. It was actully really good even though it sounds cheesy. It makes me want to go to camp! It also has a really useful lesson in it! I sugesst a middle school girl to read it. I couln't put it down!
I remember reading these in middle school. Acting Out was my favorite, but the last one was actually really mature and bittersweet— about a toxic friendship.
I read the book “Summer Camp Secrets”. Tells me how the main character Kell how she spends her summer. Kelly spends her summer at a cam that she didn't want to go to that her mom sighed her up. Kelly makes friends and does daily activities while she is there.
This book was mainly about Kelly and her triplets pranking people to make them feel bad. At the beginning kelly really didn't want to go and already had a feeling it was be the worst summer of her life. But once it got to the end Kelly realized it was the best summer ever. I really want to read the next book by the same author.
I am not going to spoil anything for others but these are great books. Katy Grant did a good job. She is showing the true meaning of friends. Well a least in my opinion she is showing the true meaning of your friends. I believe that Camp Pine Haven has meant something to Darcy. Where she met her friend Nicole. I'm not going to say any more. Because I don't want to ruin the books for you. I hope this was helpful, I hope you enjoy this book by Katy Grant.
Writing this review after almost 4-5 years of reading this book. I remember this was one of my favourites back when I was younger and I think I read this more than 3 times. It was definitely an amazing book! :)
