This book contains 3 short stories.

Kodomo wa Nemuru: Kyou, Tomoaki, Nasu and Jagamaru spend their summer vacation at Akira's holiday house. The place actually belongs to Akira's parents but the boys see it as Akira's.

But this summer Akira's bossy behaviour annoys some of the boys. They try hard to be on their best behaviour because if Akira starts disliking any of them, they won't be welcome anymore next summer...

Kanojo no Aria: On the day of the ball games tournament, a guy sneaks off to the former school building. He has been unable to sleep properly for like a month now, so he doesn't have the energy to take part in the tournament. When wandering around in the school building, he suddenly hears some piano music and heads towards the old music classroom. There he meets a girl who claims she hasn't been able to sleep properly for 2 months?

A-mond hairi chokore-to no warutsu: Nao takes piao classes after school. Her teacher is a little weird and not very popular in their neighbourhood, but Nao really likes her. When her teacher lets a foreign (French) man live with her, she is being disliked even more, but Nao and her friend grow very fond of this man and their weekly piano lessons.

My opinion: I really enjoyed this book, especially the first story, it's really brilliant. Mori-san really has a way with words. She's good at describing emotions. In some of the stories, not so much happened, it was more about feelings and changes and the impact those had on the people around them. Some might find this boring, I sometimes find it boring too, but not here.
