The night reigned supreme in America. The captive kicked the rodent away with all her might, and the rat screeched as it was tossed into the boxes. The wounded girl gathered herself up on the cold floor as though trying to make herself smaller, invisible. Polina Itzhakov felt as though she was freezing—the cold summer of this year was yielding even colder nights. Who is this man? the captured woman pondered, her heart sinking in terror. Does the White House, does the president himself stand behind this? As the moon kept gaining altitude in the sky, these alarming thoughts roamed inside the captive’s mind. The girl could feel just how dreamy, dizzy her brain was getting, but she forced herself to dig deeper into her thoughts to try to figure out the reason for her kidnapping. That secret beacon? The CIA’s project she intended to leak information about? Just a few weeks prior, she had received a letter from an anonymous an unknown person had urged her to stop investigating the project, the one that the American government had been so keen on hiding from media and that the White House had spent nearly a billion taxpayer dollars on. The young woman had been fascinated with the mysterious beacon the government had hidden in northern Alaska. The CIA and the Pentagon must have chosen to locate the beacon in a snowy location for a particular reason—such a cold place exerted the planet’s electromagnetic field more strongly to disrupt the Earth’s grid. Why would the American government want to make the planet trackable throughout the galaxy? Who the hell would want to track the Earth’s movement through the universe? The night was becoming colder, hostile even, as the wounded girl sunk further into her thoughts. She would soon moan in her dreams—the girl was falling into the dark abyss, dying. The silver orb had reached its crescendo in the darkened sky and now reigned over New York. There was something unusual, something puzzlingly intense, in the moonglow this night, something that would remain a mystery to the residents of the city for years to come. The Mooncatcher was about to interfere in people’s fates once again.
Eric Klosner is the author of the Mooncatcher series.
Every time he writes something, the author wears the kind of expression one would have if one was going to save the planet from a dinosaur invasion.
Passion. Attitude. Epicness.
They’re all over his face.
As of now, the author is working nonstop on a new project. This book that is supposed to save lives, cure diseases, and end wars around the world may cause some nervous meltdowns once it is unleashed upon the world. Truth be told, this project gives its creator too many chills.
The amount of disses and shades that Eric has accumulated towards the world’s politicians, criminals, and even bloodthirsty terrorists nourishes his soul for he sees himself as a warrior of justice, peace, and harmony.
Besides writing, Eric loves drinking black tea with a lot of sugar while listening to pop songs from the late 90s and posting silly comments about YouTube videos.
All in all, Eric Klosner is a cool, laidback dude with the simple, modest dream of becoming one of America’s best-selling authors and one day making it on national news. He even has a suit and tie prepared for his first interview.
What a humble dreamer.
As for you, dear reader, if you enjoy diving into mystery and suspense, Native American legends and the enigma of DNA’s structure, heartbreak and trouble - and if you love fun and comedy as well - then welcome to Eric Klosner’s world.
Part of the world is bashing Nicole and her latest article and especially the cover of her magazine causing riots and protesting as well as death threats. With newest release of the magazine's article attacking an oil company over an oil spill, a presidential candidate behind the cover up as well as political and international corruption Nicole's life is even in more danger than before. Evil is lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. When Nicole's friends drop the bomb on her about her fiancee Czareen she lashes out. Seeds of doubt start to take hold as she confronts Czareen. Upset she visits Central Park to think. There she discovers a mooncatcher similar to the one her sister Luna use to wear. Keeping it she soon learns the horrors Luna went through and Czareen's lies. I enjoyed the last chapter learning how the mooncatcher existed. Mystery, suspense and tragedy will keep you glued to the pages. Thank you Hidden Gems and the author for a digital copy.
