This was a wild ride but very entertaining, I finished so quickly. I am curious about the second installment because the ending left me stunned. It’s clear Izzy is conflicted but I kind of like Kysen, I don’t trust Rippa.

This book was good however Izzy is stupid why didn’t she just listen to Rippa then her dad would still be alive. The crazy part is I love Kysen for her Rippa isn’t it I’m sorry. From the beginning it seemed like he really want her and they can help bring out the best in each other. I guess will see what happens in part 2 because at this point the book all over the place and I need Kysen to step up hopefully he will handle his father once he take over. That damn Drew is crazy as hell she want Mo man that bad she want her killed now that’s crazy. However she not going to end up with grim when he showed he don’t want her.

I could not put this down!!!!! From the gate it captures your attention. I went up and down with all the emotions that were evoked from Ishani and Leigh. I wanna say sooooo much but I don't want to give it away! That ending was something else! I can't wait to read part 2!!

Yasss Kellz you did that honeyyyy! Absolutely loved Ishani. Hate that they killed her father for real, he didn’t deserve that. Mattox got some ish with him and he is jealous as hell. Can’t wait to see what’s gone happen in part 2. Got a lot of unanswered questions that I need answers to!

Very interesting but in a good way (long post alert)
First let me say I like both characters Kysen and Ishani. I don’t quite know where you going with this storyline yet Kellz but I feel like with Kysen he has a plan! I don’t think he’s a B**ch… I honestly think his planning and being smart about it all…bc he knows what his dad Maddox is capable of and I honestly feel he has Ishani best interests at heart and I’m rooting for them and I don’t think they are each other enemies but they are blind to the what if’s and like his mom said they are great for each other bc I bet mommy Willow knows a lot and not just talking in riddles, lol, she’s crazy but smart crazy…. And she also told Kysen that it’s important that they stay close and to do right by her and I honestly thinks she’s talking about Kysen, Brim, Ishani and Leigh….. now with Rippa I’m on the fence about bc not only do he still have secrets but if he goes with the plan to kill her bestfriend then that’s going to be a problem and why he wants her so bad now? But great read/storyline but I feel Willow knows all the secrets, Kysen is smart and going to surprise us…and for Ishani if only she will stop and listen to what her dad and Monaleigh said about her learning The Connection families she could be powerful… it’s rightfully hers!! When You Think Your Protection Is The Right Thing To Do
Kellz, that cliffhanger baby baby. This read is full of hidden jealousy, narcissist men, rules and regulations thought up by evil folk. Izzy, was such a good daughter, she just didn't realize the power she held, other's did though that's why it's people being played like puppets.
I could only imaging thinking my life was going in one direction only for it to go in a totally unexpected way. Izzy had no idea the life she thought she would have would never be the same . Rippa, was the love of her young life, until he crossed her, now their situation could cost more than either is willing to pay.
Kysen Styx, is just a youngin that needs to find his own voice instead of being his fathers puppet. It's hard to see how he is gonna grow into the man he was to become. Izzy, was so loyal she put herself in a situation that she thought would be best , although finding out her life was a lie she still was loyal. It's so hard when your loyalty belongs to one and your soul belongs to another.
With this new mess added to the mess going on already, I can't wait to see where this is going. It was hard to start, but once I did I'm so mad it's over for now!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Good read
This was the first book I’ve read by Kelly Kimberly in years. I don’t know what I thought it was going to be but it wasn’t anywhere near those thoughts. This book had a lot going on and sometimes the characters were likable and other times they weren’t. I can tell you one thing they all certainly acted their ages. None of them knew what they wanted and their actions proved it. If it weren’t for them being as young as they were their behavior especially the cheating and whining would have really irked my nerves. But because they were still trying to find themselves and figure out life it all made sense. What doesn’t make sense was Maddox doing what he was doing.

He claims he so in love with Leigh but how could he be when he can't be faithful. Drew need to let it go cause if Brim find out what she trying to do it's over for her. This was a great read. I feel they letting Maddox get away with alot of stuff cuz ain't no way he would've put his hands on me. His son his a little boy ain't even a man .How you let a nigga hoe you about yours like where they do that at. Can't stand up from r me to your father or the next men ain't no way.
