This is a well written enemies to lovers second chance romance between Wyatt and Lauren. The author does a great job developing the story as she brings misunderstandings, secrets and suspense. She adds in a sizzling hot chemistry and moves the story fluidly with perfectly painted scenes and delivers a fantastic read.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HONOR AND COMMAND K-9 UNIT" This story is so full it tension, anxiety, frustration, angst, betrayal, secrets, animosity, stubborness, intrigue, steam, twists that make this a very addicting story.
Wyatt Prince Captain of K-9 Unit worked with such a great team & his K-9 dog Tinks a German Shepherd who was slowing down more interested in sleeping in her bed than hunting down drugs he loved having her as his look partner.
Wyatt's secretary Ashley just back from honeymoon is a firecracker he bears her arguing with another woman outside his office & recognizes her voice Lauren Sharp use to be in his Academy class their disliked each other he didn't know why she'd be there she was from Seattle.
Lauren enters Wyatt's office telling she was on a case connected to his case the syndicate he's been investigating the Sling their tendrils gave spread to Seattle they intercepted some designer drugs that came in from through the Port of Portland not Puget Sound she wants their help but she's a lone wolf works alone not with his team.
I definitely recommend to get this very well written story following Wyatt & Lauren's journey she been keeping a secrets from him for 15 years what will happen when he finds out, can they work to together to get what each wants, will they end up with HEA you must get book to see what happens you so won't be disappointed so well worth the read. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!

Perfect Ending to a Wonderful Series
All 8 books in this series have a little bit of everything to them. Romance, suspense, a great mystery, and one heckuva happy ending. You can read each book on its own, but to get the full K-9 Cop experience, it's a good idea to start with Book 1 and work your way to this fantastic book #8.
I always wanted to hear the Captain's story when this series began. So it was a perfect ending to have the last book be all about how he would find his happy ending. Even if it meant he was going to fight over a woman from his past. A woman who was holding a secret 15 years in the making.
Wyatt and Lauren were hot competitors at the Police Academy. She was always the best in the class, and Wyatt was a little slower than her. He had some demons to take care on his own. One night of passion between the two of them kind of changed everything. Except Lauren ran away with a secret.
This story was fabulous from the start. Can't wait for the next series from these two writers!

I fell instantly in love with Wyatt and Tinks. Lauren was so fabulously written as this prickly porcupine of a woman that she was much, much harder to like. In fact, it took me almost the whole book to get past her defenses and understand what made her so irresistible to Wyatt. I was fascinated by the new twist in the case these K-9 officers had been working so diligently and I was glued to the edge of my seat waiting to learn what else would happen. Over the course of this series, I have fallen in love with all these characters and I’m not in the least bit ready to let them go. My fingers are crossed that we’ll get the opportunity to still see more of them in the future, either in cameo appearances or follow-up stories of their own.

This was such a great ending to this series. It was a second chance romance filled with secrets, suspense and off the charts chemistry. You also got to see all of the past characters.
I loved that Wyatt and Lauren were enemies-to-lovers. I loved how they both butted heads and had the wrong assumption of each other, but were able to open up about their past and present feelings. I love that when Wyatt learned Lauren’s big secret, he didn’t hold it over her or made things difficult. I loved that Lauren was finally able to allow herself to see she didn’t have to be a lone wolf anymore.
I loved this series by Lexi and I can’t wait to see what else she has for us. I was on the edge of my seat from book one. I highly recommend this series.

This is the eighth book in the K-9 Protection Romance Series and is a great finale to the series. You'll love seeing Wyatt and Lauren reconnect but be warned it's not a smooth ride. She's smart, feisty and yes, still a bully. She knows how to get things done and she's determined to clear up all the Sling operations. Their attraction and chemistry is still explosive. He knows something's afoot and she's hiding something. What does he do when he finds her secret? What happens when 'her' daughter is kidnapped? A great series with amazing characters and a strong, page-turning story line. Full of emotion, drama and danger. I read a free advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Omg what a brilliant ending to this series.
Wyatt is the captain at the K-9 unit in Portland and is shocked when he finds Lauren in his station wanting to talk to him about the Sling case.
Lauren and Wyatt were at the academy together and didn't get along apart from one steamy night.
She wants in on his case but prefers to do things her way which makes them but heads again.
When he finds out that she is in danger he rushes straight to her but what he finds is a big shock - a daughter he never knew he had.
Will he be able to keep them both safe from the threat against them?
A brilliant read full of suspense and so much drama but also lots of love and emotion with an even better ending.

Wyatt Prince has to keep a tight reign of the K-9 unit and has a ton of appreciation and respect for his team. When an attempt to bring a sling down is causing a rift he’s got to be on his toes to figure it out. An unsuspecting blast from his past Detective Lauren shows up to investigate a drug coming out of Portland and she runs into Wyatt her nemesis from academy 15 years ago and the father of her child. When the biggest drug lord Serge kidnaps their daughter Maggie there’s only one priority and that’s getting her back safe and sound. Once the dust settles all bets are off. This series was phenomenal, so sad it’s ending hopefully Lexi has more incredible books to come

This is book eight in The K-9 Protection Romance Series and it is Wyatt and Lauren's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Wyatt and Lauren attended the police academy together but they didn't get on and butted heads constantly even though they had hot and intense chemistry and ended up spending one night together and that ended things so badly between them. There are many secrets, danger, suspense, action, betrayal, misunderstandings, family and I loved the happy ending. This is the final book in this amazing series and I can't wait to see and read what is written next. This series just gets better and better with each book written and that is what makes you go back time and time again to read the next one. The characters and storyline pulled you in and kept you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages to see what would happen next and I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will not be disappointed.

This is the second chance enemies to lovers story where Captain Wyatt Prince and Detective Lauren Sharp meet up again after a less than stellar time in the academy. In spite of having a one night stand, they both had the wrong idea about each other. They get reacquainted when she shows up needing info for her case and is very cagey about any personal information, it doesn't take Wyatt and his dog Tinks long to realize she is hiding something. This has been a very good series and I have enjoyed it. This is 5 stars.

I am one happy reader! I've been waiting for Captain Prince's and Tink's story - and here it is! But I was not prepared for Detective Lauren Sharp - and that's putting it mildly!
Captain Prince and Det. Sharp went through the academy together - she was top of the class and he was far from it! They let their guard down one night, but went their separate ways... 15 years later, Lauren is a detective in Seattle but needs assistance from the K-9 unit and Capt. Prince. Plus there's a big secret!!

This is the last book, number 8 and completes the series. This story revolves around Wyatt and Lauren. She is star detective for the Seattle PD and he is the captain of the Portland PD K-9 unit. Lauren shows up, unannounced at the Portland PD and basically demands to see him. Wyatt is none to happy. There is a way this happens, an appointment is made at the very least. This pair is going to clash at best. They are total opposites. Their story Carrie’s on from there. It’s engaging and keeps you reading.

I'm enjoying this series, each book is standalone so you don't have to have read the earlier ones to enjoy this second chance enemy to lovers story. Captain Wyatt Prince and Detective Lauren Sharp both attended the academy together, they even had a one-night stand but didn't like each other at all. They meet again when she needs some information relating to a case she's working.

Another great read from Lexy Parker. The characters are well written with plenty of suspense, surprise, and chemistry. Lauren and Wyatt had one hot night together and then went their separate ways. 15 years later, Lauren is a detective in Seattle and when she needs the assistance from the K-9 unit, Wyatt is the one who helps. Wyatt is in for a big surprise. This is a great read that moves effortlessly to keep you hooked.

This is the eighth and final book in the K-9 Protection Romance series. I love this series. Wyatt and Lauren's enemies to lovers and second chance to love is well written, and entertaining. Wyatt, a cop, is handsome, and protective. Lauren, a detective, is beautiful, strong, and smart. They are two strong characters, and they are perfect together. The storyline is filled with secrets, action, and twists and turns. This is a great and entertaining series finale. I enjoyed it.

The best for last on the K-9 Protection Unit Series!
Starts with attitude, surprise, suspense and plenty of drama and a major secret. Also off the chart chemistry with a second chance at love. Storyline flows along nicely with interesting unique storyline and strong respect and friendship with others on unit and police departments. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.

Oh my goodness!! I just loved Wyatt and Lauren and I can’t forget Maggie and Tinks!! They had a live hate relationship when they first met it years later all he wanted to do was help protect her and her daughter who he soon learns is his daughter!! She also never liked dogs until she met his Tinks!! I would recommend this book to everyone!!

Wyatt and Lauren's story is filled with suspense, drama and mayhem that kept me glued to it. This is an enemy to lover's troll that I loved reading it. It is well written with characters that drew me in and had me in their corners to come out on the other side with a happily ever after in tow! I am volunteering to leave a review for an arc of this book.

The captain gets his story.
The Portland k9 has been a solid series and now it’s the captain’s turn. He is getting plenty of surprises, in Lauren Sharpe. Secret baby (teenager), busts, bad guys and secrets. Wyatt had to deal with lots.

This is the final book in this series and is the story of Wyatt and Lauren. I enjoyed the push and pull chemistry between these two. The suspense, romance and secrets that unfold had me turning the pages. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
