I read this book aloud to my sports loving son. So many great sportsmanship moments and life-lessons through sports. Great story.

Read as a read aloud to my son. He seemed to enjoy the story, but I was bored. We have read 5 Lane Walker books we loved, this one just fell short for me. We are also not big basketball fans either. Good twists though.

I think this book is great because I have friends that go to different schools and when I play them in a sport it's always fun and competitive if I had to suggest this book it would be for athletes and people. Who enjoys sports and my summer was just like his always playing basketball and trying to be the best I can be T.D is my favorite character because he the one I can relate to the best and my favorite event was when T.D found a pair of basketball shoes at garage sale.

I think the book had some twists and turns and it was good. It was just hard to get into it. Also did a good elaborating on the details, great job Lane! Balls.
