This guide book is written in a way that is easy to understand, accompanied with images and illustrations that can assist in determining the spider groups. It provides a photographic guide to at least 160 genera from 27 families of common spiders in Malaysia. The description is based on basic physical characters to determine the genera although there may be exceptions to some species that are categorized within the respective groups. This book may serve as a general guide for researchers and the general public to appreciate and understand more about the spider fauna in Malaysia.
